The only problem with this game as far as I can see so far. Would be all the WOW players that came here expecting WOW2. As for being ranked up that quickly with the minimal play times that they have. They probably log out in a Cantina somewhere. Which gives you the rested bonus, which is double XP. You also get twice the amount of XP from doing PVP. I went up a level and a half today with just a half hour to 45 minutes of PVP'ing. I don't like to do that because it makes the PVE quests almost face-roll too easy. So I probably won't be doing anymore PVP till I hit LVL50.

Let me guess, this must be your second MMO? WOW being the first? Because you are wrong on so many levels and you have no clue as to what a proper MMORPG really is. MMO stands for Massively Multiplayer Online. Then, here is my favorite part RPG. Which stands for, yep you guessed it Role Playing Game. Not Raid Playing Game. If the endless loot tread-mill is what you want...Diablo III is coming out soon. As for me, I signed up to play an RPG. Which for the most part I've gotten. Not some endless gear grind. Tell me, where is the RPG in doing the same RAID over and over and over and over and over and over and over? For the small chance of getting the loot that you want. Or if some dweeb of a party leader deems you worthy enough over his friends to get that shiney? And why the hell should these RAIDS have better gear than what you can get from PVE, PVP or crafting? I'm not talking visuals...I'm talking stat's. We all spent time doing stuff in game? We all spend the same amount each month in subscription costs. Just because some of us have lives other than sitting behind our computer monitor's for a disproportionate amount of our lives. Doesn't mean that we all should not have the ability(thru multiple avenue's) to get the same loot as you "LEET RAIDERZ" seem to think that you deserve because, you have that extra time and are content to waste your life away on a virtual life in a virtual world. The reason we are having this argument in the first place is one of the major reason's I HATE World of Warcraft. Blizzard has totally taken the RPG out of this genre and replaced it with an endless mouse wheel. I sincerely hope the WOW end game philosophy never comes to TOR.

Exactly...Why should I or anyone else who does not have 20hrs. or more a week to waste in this game or any game for that matter not get the same or comparable rewards? I pay the same 14.99 a month you do. I'm so sick and tired of the so called "LEET RAIDERZZ" running around lording over everyone else because they have no life. Well, I have a life....and I think it's great that I can play this game when my schedule allows and still have a shot at the BEST gear and loot the game has to offer. With multiple avenue's for obtaining that gear. Without having to suffer thru boring as hell 20 to 40 man raids over and over again. With little to no chance at getting the loot or gear that I want. As long as it stays that way...BW will keep getting my sub money every month. I'm here because I'm a Star Wars fan in all it's forms. Not for the WOW gear grind.

^^^^This^^^^ For the love of God, please do not turn this into an endless gear quest like WOW. If that is all you want to do then go play WOW or it's sequel when it comes out. Not everyone thinks or feels like you do. The primary reason I stopped playing WOW was for that very reason. I do not have the time to play any game the amount of time it would take you to get fully geared up in WOW. Thank the Force getting gear is as easy as it is in TOR, and I hope it stays this way.

I'm hoping they go the X-Wing Vs. Tie fighter route. I could even live with a "Freelancer" style type of game. But what we have right now, while it met their stated goal of delivering a Cinematic experience, is just so far below what the IP, I feel deserves. This on-rails flight is BS. I don't care what they say, spaceflight is a huge part of the Star Wars universe. Contract whoever made the original X-Wing Vs. Tie fighter series, and have them make the space portion if Bio-Ware doesn't have the chops to do it. P.S. I'd just like to add, if anyone from EA/Bioware is reading this thread. In a word "YES". Don't listen to all the hate on the forum's. Those are just mainly WOW fanboi's that are butt-hurt cause TOR is stealing everyone from their dying, ancient game. Does it have it's problems? Yes it does, but no more than any other recently released MMO. Though far fewer than most have had at release. Is Bio-Ware working to fix said issue's? Yes they are. So yes, I would say that I'm happy with TOR so far. and you will be too.

^^^This, why the hell can't I just drag the item I wanna sell to the search field to see nothing but that that item. So I can base my selling price off of that? I have a Jedi Shadow, with synthweaving, Archealogy and underworld trading. Sometimes my crew will come back with diagrams that only Imps. can use, such as the "Sith Dualing Leather's" that Quizan helpfully brought back today? Is this a bug, to get opposing faction diagrams? Or working as intended.

What would you prefer? Being "forced" to group with people just to get the simplest of tasks completed. I say no thanks, had enough of that in EQ. I prefer this new breed of MMO's much more. Where I can go it solo or group up if I want too. Thank the Force that the day's of forced grouping just to get anything accomplished have been relegated to the dust bin of MMO history.
