Prob the way SWTOR's windows all have different shaped frames? My setup is pretty simple. Everything's at the bottom and centered if possible. The menu bar definitely bugs me but can't really do anything about that.

You can definitely stack them just as I did. Change the number of slots per row to make it horizontal. You know if you make a chat channel they're universal. Meaning anyone who is in that channel can see it no matter where they are. Most servers have already created an "lfg" channel. Try /cjoin lfg

No word as of yet, though I'd say it's inevitable considering the shape of things. I'd say reroll or just try to be patient and wait till x-fers/merges happen.

Imagine for a moment if they had added bioengineering ala SWG to SWTOR and how utterly awesome that would be, and how many more players the game would have just to play that aspect of the game. Yea.

Most servers have started a universal lfg channel. try "/cjoin lfg" and start asking in that channel, everyone who has joined that channel can see that chat regardless of what planet they're on. I understand it can be hard to get groups, but this is a problem with server populations numbers (which are low on most servers) and the way chat works with players on different planets. Please do not add a cross server - stand around on fleet all day and instantly teleport to a FP where I do a dungeon with complete strangers who I either don't talk to at all or to who I am a complete douche to because I'm likely to never see them again as they are on a different server- LFG tool.

SWG was a million, billion, ga-freakin-zillion times better than SWTOR imo. Even with it's crappy combat and other flaws, it had deeper gameplay and an epic world feel that SWTOR just completely lacks.

I still enjoy the game... kinda. Mostly because I'm leveling my.. what? 8th alt? I like the class quests, I like the star wars music and sounds.. I think that's about it. There's very little MM in this MMO. The constant instancing and closed in/corridor maps really bother me, also questing through a planet having only seen a small hand full of other players while you were there is not good and makes you feel isolated. And I'm on Ajunta Pall, which is one of the higher pop servers I think. This really feels like a single player kotor kind of RPG with some multiplayer elements slapped on. This is all well and good, but I really wanted an actual MMO where I constantly run into other players in a large open environment.

Sry, I'm asking about madness vs deception for pve dps and FPs during leveling. Is one significantly better dps than the other?

Heya, I've been leveling as deception and doing daily FPs along the way, but in flash points the tree seems really weak due to a complete lack of aoe. The one aoe attack we have, Overload, just does very little damage and pisses off people due to the knock back. So, I was wondering if Madness would be a better spec if you're going to be running a lot of fps due to it's aoe? Or am I missing something? I'm totally not opposed to just going tank, but honestly I went into this thinking the dps would be strong in all scenarios. : / Thx for the replies! -=edit=- Sry I messed up the thread title. I'm asking about Madness, not Darkness. Also, someone in another thread mentioned lacerate. What level do you get that and how good is it in pve?

Some tank was guarding him? Maybe another healer was tossing him heals as well? There could be lots of reasons.

Maybe there's other variables I'm not aware of. I can't say that's not possible. BUT I live in a apt with 2 roommates and though our computers all vary in how powerful they are. We all play swtor and all share the game stutter/fps drops that, in my and my t2 comp tech roommate's opinions, are because of client<->server communication problems. When the game queries the server the game freezes for a split seconds while it waits to receive the info. This would appear as random FPS drops.

Gotta love FOTM players. /facepalm

The problem is certain event cause the game to have to query the server for info and the game freezes for a split sec when this happens. No computer can over power this no matter what the specs. Need proof? Hit B to open your bag. or C to open your character sheet.. or L to open the mission log. or any button that opens a UI window. This will cause the game to freeze. This is especially apparent when you're running/riding forward. This also occurs anytime one of your quests update or a server message is displayed on screen. Ever wonder why the game seems to freeze every 2 secs in Ilum? It's partially because of all the quest updates that you see displayed on the screen.

This happens anytime you open a UI window (Character screen, inventory, mission log etc.), dismount, or when a quest updates. It happens regardless of your computer specs.
