  1. Do what Yvin said then hover over some of you're abilities. You'll notice they say Tech Ability or something similar. That's when the clarity sets in.
  2. I like the realism. You can really get snow blind on Hoth, how cool is that?
  3. Yeah I just saw that on the Armormech recipes. I guess it's not a bug, just poor design. What I said holds true for all Commendation oranges at least. EDIT: Actually have you tried putting a low level armoring mod in one of these to see if it changes the level?
  4. Sounds like a bug if that's the case. Is it completely modifiable? If you can't remove the Armoring then it won't change the level. EDIT: Looking at Torhead it looks like all the armormech oranges are like that. Quite lame i'd say. Maybe not a bug but definitely lame.
  5. Huh? If it's completely modifiable (Orange) Then you can replace the mods with lower level ones and it will change the level.
  6. I just got the Logitech G13. It's slow going breaking my old habits and forming new muscle memory but I'm enjoying it.
  7. Press P this will bring up the list of all your Abilities. Just find the ones you want back and drag them back to the quickslot bar. Take note of the different tabs on the bottom.
  8. Exactly. You don't have the information so don't make ridiculous claims like "They don't need to charge us for expansions".
  9. What are you talking about? Your arguments make 0 sense. On the Pay to Play games your argument is that they can produce expansion packs on the cost of the subscriptions alone correct? Well where is your evidence of that? Don't link me some silly YouTube page again either. I want to see reports that subscription fees for any game would be enough to pay for all operating costs (Property Leases, Taxes, Employee Wages, Server Farms, Utility Bills, ect. ect.) AND development fees for current and future content before making wild claims that subscription fees are enough to cover everything.
  10. You're ignoring the fact that Guild Wars has microtransactions that replace subscription costs. We're not talking about Guild wars or any other F2P game though, we're talking about P2P games. You said they can manage with just a subscription fee. Where are your numbers to back it up? How much do they spend on Property, taxes, employees, servers, electricity, ect. ect. ect.?
  11. This is a HUGE assumption about something that you know nothing about. If you can get hard data about how much is spent and how much is earned then you might have a case, otherwise you're just blowing hot air.
  12. Why on earth was this moved to New Player Help? If anywhere it belongs in General Discussion.
  13. IT'S A BUISNESS. THEY NEED TO MAKE MONEY. Seriously. And yes, it's worth the cost. As I said $15 a month is the cheapest cost of endless entertainment you'll find anywhere short of a ball and cup game. It's worth it to me at least, it's obviously not to you and it's not going to change so just go ahead and unsubscribe. Guildwars has microtransactions. That's how free to play games support themselves.
  14. That's what we thought at first, and were confused because WoW doesn't do microtransactions except for a couple items that have nothing to do with content or gameplay, but he's not talking about that. He's talking about expansions.
  15. I don't need to look at your video to know it's ridiculous. Also as I said it's not just about upkeep, it's also about adding in new content throughout the expansion and PROFIT. This is a business after all. It's called Capitalism and if you don't like it don't subscribe but I challenge you to find something that offers as much entertainment for only $0.50 a day. $15 in most places is 1 movie.
  16. Why not? Subscription fees cover running costs, major content patches within an expansion, and profit. It doesn't cover the costs to put out the massive amount of content that's in an Expansion.
  17. Seriously? Why did you pay for the game in the first place then? By that logic you shouldn't have had to pay the $60+ for the box.
  18. You get a starship after you complete Drumand Kaas (SP?). You can buy a speeder after you level to 25. Press N to open your companion menu. You can send them to do crew skill stuff from there. There's no LFG system like WoW, instead you can flag yourself in the Social menu as looking for group with a comment such as General Questing, or a specific Heroic quest or Flashpoint
  19. You can have 40 characters per account. You can do this with 8 characters on 5 servers, 40 characters on 40 servers or anything between.
  20. The map doesn't care about altitude so there's no way to flatten it. It only cares about indoors and outdoors and specific zones.
  21. Hold down the home key and press an ability that you want to use on yourself.
