  1. Is more than 95% accuracy really necessary? Sorc/Inquis don't really seem that big a problem for us and I'm not doing the lethality/tank-killer thing. Atm I'm planning to take whatever accuracy I get from the 4-pc and go for power/surg/crit everywhere else.
  2. You must be playing a different game. Can't tell you the number of times I've seen a 4-man war hero premade with nobody on our team even in the same guild. And I'm certain there's no matching making as far as gear goes. Basically I'm saying you're wrong, "bra."
  3. How about smarter match-making like taking premade group size into consideration and/or gear levels.
  4. If you decide male and are all about the flirting definitely go human. Not sure whether it's the same for female (ops).
  5. Actually you can not get mezzed & capped solo when standing on a node. If fact if you're solo and standing away from, say, a turret in civil war you increase the likelihood of a sap & cap by shadow/sin because of their force speed advantage.
  6. Probably would have gotten less smart-*** replies if you hadn't insinuated that people using a warzone mechanic that's been in the game...forever...are cheating.
  7. You're *that guy*. The one that dies defending a turret then doesn't bike back to it.
  8. Ops are intentionally abusing this bug. Please fix!
  9. Wanted to try jumping the pit in Voidstar. So right as I get get close and hit force speed a VG grapples me from the other side (trying to grapple me into the pit). Momentum (or him badly positioned) carries me past him and I immediately AoE knockback him into the pit. So I was across, stealthed, with neither of the bridges up. =) Test successful!
  10. Really would like to see this info in the guide. I haven't hit 50 since before 1.2 -- back when you would max out WZ and Merc commendations and buy one BM bag before 50. Would be a big help if you could outline what a pre-50 can do in order to prepare gear-wise for 50 WZs.
  11. You get a very similar (maybe the same even?) tan jacket as an early WZ commendation pvp reward. I think it's in the level 20 set.
  12. Laze Target -> Snipe -> Ambush (1.5s) -> Spam Explosive Probe If you don't have Laze ready you might consider opening with Ambush and using instant Snipe after. Early on you might have to use your default attack occasionally to keep energy up. Remember to use your energy regen probe often. I prefer to AoE when possible, so I spread my damage around. Typically I'll use some instant openers then do a Suppressive Fire if I can hit 3+ at once. Frag grenade has a knockback + knockdown against normal mobs in addition to AoE so use that liberally as well. Once you get Followthrough you really start to tear through stuff. So for a pack of 3-4 mobs I might typically do: Cover-Instant Snipe (mob 1) Followthrough (mob 2) Frag grenade (melee mob 3) Suppressive fire them all Snipe/Takedown/Frag grenade to clean up Use your execute liberally and ambush / series of shots only on guys 50% health +. I'll sometimes use legshot or even flashbang or frag grenade to keep mobs grouped for a Suppressive Fire. If you want to be super-efficient it's all about switching targets, knowing when to prioritize AoE and using your big abilities on high HP mobs.
  13. You go to the wrong side and then get into a lengthy discussion over what left & right mean while the repubs blow up all the doors and win. Or is that just me?
  14. I have a tough time trying to fathom how anyone could think the current loot system for normal mode ops is a good thing. And even worse why BW would remove the workaround making the system somewhat palatable. So apparently the forced round robin loot system is to avoid issues with ninja looters in PuGs? So instead of an individual player ninja-looting, now BW does it for you by randomly assigning loot to people who 90% of the time don't need it. I think you would actually get more and appropriate gear if a ninja looter was leading the raid than with this awful system in place currently. I ran an op to get guildies geared up in preparation for HM ops and precisely *nobody* got a piece of gear that was useful to them. Even though many potential upgrades dropped -- they all went to someone who didn't need them. If you want to get gear you are better off running HM flashpoints than wasting your time running NM operations. BioWare, the majority of your subscribers will not roll need on everything in an operation. This is a contrived problem, and a terrible solution. Do you really want your fresh level 50 player experience to be an exercise in futility and aggravation? I sincerely hope not for the sake of this game.
  15. There are legit mid-30s by now, and probably even higher.
  16. Unless it's changed since beta: Green & Blue can not be used at DS rank 1 & higher Red can not be used at LS rank 1 & higher
  17. You are able to pick up a PvP quest twice in a row. The first time you get a general pvp quest -- basically an intro to warzones. To complete it you need to win a warzone match. Once you complete this quest you unlock the PvP daily, which you can immediately pick up. After that the daily works as any other daily -- you can only complete it once per day. So no you can't infinitely complete the pvp daily, and without that extra xp I highly doubt warzones will outperform questing.
  18. In beta the daily was not repeatable immediately. Is this some new bug or just speculation by you?
