I agree, but for a different reason. I always hotkey my abilities to my numpad, and use shift and control to run 3 different "groups" of hotkeys. It gives me 27 quickly activated abilities to use, and makes combat ridiculously easy. This game, I cannot do that until they let me have 3 bars =/. 4 would be even better, as I could extend that to 36 buttons.

From what I was told by the person who put me onto it, it has something to do with the way win 7 handles virtual ram. I don't really know the specifics though, just that it works.

Yes, in Windows 7. Go to All Programs > EA or whatever you put your game files in. Right click on the SWTOR icon, go down to properties. Under the compatibility tab, click on the radio box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for:", then select Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Then hit apply. When you go into the game, it will open it in compatibility mode.

I had this issue too and it was miraculously fixed by setting the program to open in windows xp sp 3 compatibility mode.

So you are saying that people couldn't possibly be smart enough to understand that camping a spawn point and putting someone on a perma death cycle is an exploit and shouldn't be done?

The really funny thing about your post is that people want BW to get rid of all instancing, but it would only lead to more of this. I remember EQ before instancing, no thanks.

I have a crappy HP pavilion dv6 6149nr laptop. I gave the full model number so you can look it up. The only thing I have done with it was added 4 more gigs of RAM.I have not had 1 single BSOD since I've been playing, and I have been playing pretty heavily. You might want to check your drivers.

I run at 30-40 most places except fleet, in fleet it dips to about 20 due to all the people. I do not have a spectacular computer. I have an HP pavilion dv6 laptop, AMD quad core CPU, ATI onboard video card, and 8 gigs of ram.

I would rather they didn't release something that is bugged that can potentially make the game unplayable than get something out on time. It will be here in a few days, lets have some patience.

I was sitting in Voss last night doing quests. Someone started talking about how the game sucked, and it would be F2P in a few months, and how much BW sucks at coding. When we asked him what his number one complaint was, he really didn't give an answer. The only thing he really said was that you couldn't sort by character in guild tool....really? That is why the game sucks? Now, there were 170 people in Voss general chat when this was going on. Not one person said anything to back him up. Not one person agreed with him.
