  1. I agree completely, if subscribers get charged for any content beyond a full expansion pack then whats the point in subscribing at all, may as well play for nothing and then buy the little bits you actually want to do. If they do charge for Makeb and whatever that includes I think there will be yet another backlash from subscribers who have stuck with this so far but don't need to be pushed very far to think of cancelling.
  2. With the recent server transfers a large number of people obviously lost their names as others had simply gotten their first either during the transfers or rolling on the destination server to begin with. Would it be possible to change the system so that instead of each character's first name being unique to each server, why not have the legacy name as the server unique element and allow as many people to use a first name as they want. This would ease the naming issue following transfers and increase the relevance of the legacy system.
  3. Love it and hoping for more events like this in the future
  4. This would be a good feature, for example I'd like to have a dark side Twi'lek or Sith but don't want to be pink/white when at Dark 5, but the yellow eyes and some of the earlier levels look fine. As it is I just turn it off, but with this option I could choose.
  5. Only heavy armour that is close to it that I've seen is the Sith Archon 'set', it comes as orange armour with no mods in it. The red is darker but it is the same style. As far as I'm aware you cannot get the helmet with the blade on top in heavy armour, but for example the hoth commendation vendor has a red helmet that looks ok with it (as the sith archon helmet itself is awful). http://i837.photobucket.com/albums/zz297/Valin-/sitharchon1.jpg
  6. Sure, basically once you get to the end of act 1 of your storyline, which is around level 30-32, you will be able to choose a legacy name, a box will pop up with a similar picture to the initial loading screen of the game. This choice, like the adv class is a permanent choice it cannot be changed so choose carefully. The legacy name also covers all characters on your account on that single server. You can then either have it turned off or you can have it displayed in a couple of ways. <title> charactername <legacyname> or you can have it as a title beneath your character name/title which will read like 'The Legacyname Legacy' You'll also get another xp bar at the bottom and earn legacy xp in addition to normal xp, and a legacy system tab will appear on the talent window, but this is all awaiting future features.
  7. If you really didn't get it and have checked your inventory etc, I can only suggest submitting a ticket, explain the situation clearly stating the mission and the item you should have received, torhead has it as Vette Customization 2 as the red/black variant, and hope they can give you the item you should have received.
  8. Have to agree, just doing missions in early Taris earlier this evening with my brother and we see a datacron and spend ages trying to figure out how to find it. Not going to cheat just want to work it out ourselves. Codex entries are also interesting too for the most part, definately a feature we're enjoying though.
  9. Has anyone had any luck getting their legacy name changed then, or at least reset to nothing so you have to enter a new one?
  10. I guess in new player help, but to answer your question, if you look under the Social tab in preferences then there is a toggle function for displaying Sith Corruption and Helmets.
  11. Have to say I really hope they change this, as it is I probably won't play a Twi'lek and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same or will do once they realise headgear/hoods are a bit hit and miss (or missing entirely) for Twi'leks.
  12. Having waited for this for so long I am very happy and excited to be playing today, I did test a few times so I guess its not the same as starting completely fresh but still I can't remember the last time I was actually excited about a new game like this. Congratulations to Bioware and I look forward to seeing what you can come up with in the months and years ahead
