  1. I have both a Guardian and a Sentinel (both at 55) and I have to say that I prefer my Guardian more. To each their own, but I was a tank before 2.0 hit, and afterwards I switched to Vigilence (DPS) and never really looked back. Vigilence, for myself, is a very, very fun spec to play. As for which class matches the storyline better, I have to say Guardian. Here's why...
  2. Yes, here are my updated stats: Here Also, I went and picked up all the Willpower datacrons I missing yesterday just to maximize my DPS with Force attacks as much as I could. I don't expect any significant improvement to my DPS, but every little bit helps for someone like me.
  3. Stimmed 2364. 5 minute parse. Sound about right for my gear and stats?
  4. Whoops. lol. I'll do some new parses this weekend. What do you think I'll be hitting around with my current stats? 2200-2300?
  5. This is actually one of my favorite boss fights in any ops, along with Soa in EV, and a couple others. This fight requires everyone involved to do something (at some point) and not just sit back and do whatever. To the OP, rolling with PuGs is always risky. If I were you, I'd try to find people that you commonly see in these PuGs, who are exceptional players, and try to roll with them when you guys want to PuG up. I wouldn't mind them moving this boss to the beginning of TFB. But if they did that, I'd want them to change the weekly mission, too, so it requires you to defeat at least half of the bosses in TFB. #NoSacrificeNoVictory
  6. Switched out my augments from power to strength, and no longer needing accuracy augments, I was able to hit 2691 during a 5 minute parse. Here is a link to my updated stats for PvE: Here Here is the parse: 2691 I am still running with three (3) surge augments so I can stay above 70% surge. Should I remove those surge augments and just go all strength? Or keep a couple?
  7. You like it! You like it!!!
  8. I follow her. On my speeder. All around the fleet. She knows.
  9. I am currently working on my set bonuses and only have one armoring so far. I am in a guild that casually raids, so my acquisition of 72's and set armorings has been slow, and will likely continue to be that way. I do have the 72 chestpiece, though. And I actually did have the Sage buff in that parse (sorry that it was blocked by my character window). I've also been experimenting with different augments, including strength, power, and surge. Currently, I am also rolling with two accuracy augments so that I can have 100% accuracy, but I should be able to get that down to just one once I acquire another 72 piece with accuracy on it. Any advice on augments? Also, thanks for all your feedback everyone. Appreciate it.
  10. You mean the parse doesn't match my gear, or that my parse should be higher for my stats?
  11. Those of you parsing over 2500-2600+, I am curious... what is your damage range at? Don't have be exact numbers, but ballpark numbers would be cool if you all don't mind sharing. Edit: Here is also a link to a parse I did today (5/28): 2655.47 . And here is a link my stats: My PvE Stats.
  12. Very cool. Nicely done!
  13. Good luck. GD is good PvP competition mostly. Is my friend Aroca, whom is an "expert" node capper when playing Novare Coast, leaving too?
  14. Just started messing around with parses today. Never was big on them since my main spec previously was a tank spec. Anyways, here is one I did this evening. Aikon The Eternal Guardians 2624.75 Edit: Did another one this morning. Link edited.
  15. EG had fun doing a couple of matches last night, our first two ranked matches with just purely guildies. For us, I think the plan is to continue doing casual ranked on Fridays so we that we can continue gearing up. I'm not sure when we'll be ready for competitive ranked on Mondays, but for now it seems our plan is just keep doing fun Fridays casual ranked. We are also open to having people joining our team as fill-ins when we have an open spots. If you're interested in that, contact us.
  16. Pfffff, we aren't that worried about it. Also, WTT My photoshop skills for cookies, PST.
  17. Unless my guild leaves, or if a good portion of the population leaves, I probably won't switch. I hope most people stick around, but I understand that some people want a different environment (PvP 24/7, or a more populated server, though I'd argue that our server is actually well populated, not greatly, at the moment, or something else). If I did leave, I'd go to a west coast PvE server. As much as I enjoy PvP, I wouldn't go a 24/7/365 PvP server. Just not my preference.
  18. That sounds like a good idea for newer records. I won't be breaking any records for a while, but I'd be onboard with that.
  19. I did.. I wonder if this will ever be addressed or "fixed."
  20. As the subject says, do you consider this "bug" an exploit? Expecially when the person is trying to hide completely in side the wall while trying to cap? IMO, one definition of an "exploit" is trying to utilize a bug to gain an advantage. However, I'm curious to know what other people think about this "bug." There is a player on my server that repeatedly has taken advantage of the bug. And I report them every time I see it. Who knows what that actually accomplishes, but I feel that it is reportable. Also, I think exploiting this bug falls under breaking the "SWTOR Rules of Conduct", which states: "To keep the Service a compliant, fun, fair and safe gaming environment for everyone, you may not engage in any of the following behavior:... Exploit any bug in the Service to gain unfair advantage in the game and/or communicate the existence of any such bug (either directly or through the public posting) to any other user of the Service." What do you guys think?
  21. Not sure if I'll be able to make this one, yet. But signing up in case I do. Name: Aikon Guild: The Eternal Guardians Class: Guardian Spec: DPS Catchphrase: I play for keeps, cause I might not make it back.
  22. I just recently switched from hybrid tank to Vigilence DPS (when 2.0 hit) and I'm still re-learning this class as a DPS spec. Is this what everyone who is Vigilence is doing? Is Power > Crit now? I'm sitting at 30% crit and 75% surge. Almost all of my mods are crit and surge. Any feedback is good feedback.
  23. I'm a new 2.0 DPS guardian and from my understanding, 30% crit and about 75% surge is still ideal before stacking other stats. At least that's what I did.
