  1. Wrong. Purple, from whatever we know has only been found for empire Cyan (not teal), has only been found for republic, though unlike purple I don't know anything of a confirmation that empire should be able to get this. Magenta (pink), we get from the guide which is everywhere on the forum all in all magenta is not purple!
  2. Magenta is not the same as purple, Magenta is a lot closer to pink than it is purple, especially the magenta ingame. Also I'm pretty sure the ingame support should at least know the difference between these two colors, at least I hope so. So stop saying magenta is purple, it's not, also as I asked if it was possible for a republic to get it, I'm sure they'd understand that when I ask like that I know it's possible for imps to get purple in which case it'd be hard to misunderstand which color it is I'm asking about.
  3. I posted in the 'Artifice - Rare Crystal locations and Guides' thread on this forum a confirmation from the ingame support, which confirmed that republic can actually get a purple color crystal. Though as I wrote in that thread, ever since the confirm of the white color crystal from ingame support, we cannot believe everything they say.   4. I'm very glad people like you leave tbh. It means that the rest of the people staying in the match are people I can usually trust to actually fight the fight. Most of the time I'd always encourage people who act like that to leave, because what's the point of them staying in the fight, if they're not actually fighting. Most fights can be turned around if people actually play the match. As a healer sage I have, with 2 parts from full champ gear 15.8k hp (valor rank 47, missing a relic and I've got a centurion main hand wep), when I hit 50 I think I had less than 12k hp even.
  5. I don't really know all the details behind whatever happened to him, nor do I really care, it doesn't change the fact that if people do find the white crystal now, then it has not been found by legitimate means, unless stated that you can find it by the bioware people.
  6. Currently there's no legal way to get a white color crystal, this was confirmed by the mods here on the forums, so until we get a confirmation that you can from those people all white crystals will have been gotten in an 'illegal' fashion.
  7. From operations, I'm not sure about others though, but as of right now the biochem we have in our guild have been unable to actually learn the schematic though. Says invalid to him.
  8. I don't think so, but I don't know for sure. You have to remember that much of the stuff you find on datamine sites like torhead has a lot of stuff which aren't actually in the game. This exactly, take it with a grain of salt. You can extract the pve purple crystals (columi gear), but once you do I'm pretty sure they're already bound to that character and therefore will not be tradeable.

Which is why I myself wrote, that I wasn't sure how much to put into this 'confirmation', mostly because they stated the same thing to other people with the white crystal, the best confirmation would be to get the confirmation stated from a community manager in this thread or something like that. What I'm thinking is if anyone might have leads as to where it could be, if we say it does exist for republic? purely hypothetically ^^ (As I don't want to lead people on a false trail and waste their time unintentionally). But I'll still put up a picture a little later today when I get around to it, just so people can see that we 'might' possibly be able to get it.   11. I wrote an ingame ticket regarding this, and the answer confirmed that it is possible for a republic to get a purple color crystal. I can post a screenshot later when I get online again if you really think you need it. Though considering they said the same for the white color crystal I'm not sure how much to put into this.
  12. Sorcs/Sages don't have the best burst healing, and long term healing isn't all that far from eachother tbh, this is taken from a pve standpoint. I do agree we have the best aoe healing, but it has harsh requirements compared to any other healing effect, especially now, because people need to stand in it to get the healing, and they need to stand there for some time to get it, on top of that it has a long cast time, where many other aoe heals (for example the commando/merc healing spell) are instant cast. All the resource systems are fine enough if you just know what you're doing, if you know what you're doing you're not getting out of anything with any of the resource systems. You also say we have the best preemptive you say and the best bubble? aren't these 2 the same thing? and sure I agree our bubble is very good, very very good in fact, but then I'd rather see a nerf to this than anything else (because clearly this is the most used and best ability we have in our arsenal). Oh and compared to our other abilities if we spam bubble on all people we will go out of force very very quickly.

I'd rather see the initial heal amount taken out of the heal over time effect and then put in as the initial heal, I'd be fine with that, but the initial heal is really what makes the ability really really good, and I'm not kidding. The thing is that without it people NEED to stay in the circle for pretty much the full duration or you've just wasted your time casting it, whereas if you have the initial heal it won't be wasted as much if people just move out of it.
  14. Indeed, companion quests are blocked by your progression in your class story quest line, but you don't unlock them unless you have the affection level for it.

If this is in fact true, then please change the Sage cast animation of the spell as it makes no sense to have a BOMB of light that does nothing, then in the aftermath of the bomb of light there's healing. I really doubt this was ALWAYS unintended, mostly because of the fact that the spell animation makes no sense without it, on top of that you have the tooltip as well, which also states that there's an initial heal. So instead of going about saying it was unintended, say it like it is, we're not stupid, it is a nerf, not a fix, please just admit that rather than these flimsy excuses. Obviously since both the sorc and sage tooltips state the same thing you're wrong in what you say, it wasn't unintended, but it was changed. but ours have a long cast time to make up for the extra targets, we also have to invest a lot more points into our healing tree to actually get ours, and the commando one also have other abilities to increase its effect such as Supercharge cells. So of course ours should heal more, but at this point it will mostly not end up doing that much more. The commando aoe heal also leaves an effect on the target (if you've taken the skillpoint for it) which increases healing done to the target. So all in all I don't think the initial heal on Salvation was anywhere near overpowered compared to that example, they're used for very different situations though.
  16. Remember that we also spend 2 seconds actually casting our heal compared to your instant cast, so of course ours should be more powerful as an ability. Which as it is now, it really isn't, what they need to do instead is to give our aoe heal a longer cooldown if anything. Or if they want to have it this way, either reduce or remove the casting time, as it's almost worse than other aoe heals at this point (okay that might be pushing it), sure it heals for more than say a commando's but that requires the target to stand in it for about 7-8 seconds for it to do so, but seriously, instead of doing this to salvation they should just up the amount of people who can be affected by things like kolto bomb (commando aoe heal). As it is now, the casting animation does not make any sense, and the tooltip is way off as well. Also, I've been told that Salvation does have a max number of people it can it, I've been told it's 8, can anyone confirm or deny this as I have no way of checking it myself at the current time.

  18. They just broke it, not really a nerf as I don't believe, until further notice, that it was intended. I made a ticket as well, and they told me "Thank you for contacting us regarding The Salvation skill's initial heal not activating. Your report has been forwarded to the relevant department, who will investigate further. We regret we will be unable to provide you with further updates on this issue, but recommend checking future patch notes for any up to date information."
  19. Remember this, I'm not saying you're bad, not at all. But, many of the things happening here aren't really impressive, you taking the ball from the mid to score without any resistance would rather mean that their team is just doing very very poorly. The video doesn't really show either really doing anything at all, in my oppinion, you seem to emphasize on some weird stuff, like zooming in on the huttball score when you're 3-0, I'd rather see a close match where you'd be having problems beating your enemies but coming out on top because you're good ^^ Please do not take this as me saying you're bad, but take it as criticism in a good way, a way to improve
  20. So my testing yesterday in raid was that there was no initial heal at all, you saying it's working properly doesn't make any sense. As far as healthbar goes, there's now NO instant heal, it's not only the text, I tried this time and time and time again yesterday, no instant heal. Salvation as stated by the tooltip is supposed to have an instant heal, but now it doesn't, if they want to change that, then by all means say that, but they haven't 'fixed' it to how it was supposed to be, because now it doesn't do what the tooltip states, I don't mind them changing the spell, but then say that instead of going about it like this.
  21. Stop this whining, it's still okay, just not as good... All this yelling "It's the end of the world"-talk is annoying the heck out of me, the initial heal was nice, but with it gone for now the ability itself is still usable, it's just not as good. Yes I do want it back, because my tooltip says it has the heal, and the cast animation doesn't make any sense without it, so of course they should give it back, but you'd be a bad sage healer in pve if you specced out of it since it's our only aoe heal, and it's far better than having none. If that was the case I'd rather they made the ability either instant or at least bring the cast time down, the force cost is okay.
  22. Not with normal hits, I haven't tried the ability you get at low level, so dunno what that one does. I think my saber strikes (or whatever they're called) does like 100-200 damage or something like that
