  1. My bad then, the math I have is accurate, but it was from beta (I got a new job in October and haven't been tracking stuff as closely as I did. Thanks for the correction.
  2. The BH does have a better per unit regen of their heat. However, it is offset by the fact that their abilities cost slightly more. I think it's tracer missile that was used as the comparison but if you convert it's heat cost to ammo it would cost 3.6 ammo whereas grav round costs 3. So while yes, their regen is more efficient, it is basically a wash with their higher ability costs.
  3. The dev tracker doesn't specifically mention mortar volley, it just says that they're working on fixing the imbalance between animations of abilities across mirrors or some such....
  4. Just want to say thank you to all of you as well. I tried ROTC for the Air Force and OCS for the Navy after I graduated but surgery on my ear drum from being a life long swimmer iced me both times. Thank you again for your service.
  5. Haha, oh little smurfs. I had a Norse/Skald for driving the guilds assist train and a kobold/SM for bombing.....miss those days. "3 FGs Hibs inc MMG!!!"
  6. Ok seriously, this is dumb, you should not be allowed to change ACs. In DAoC (Another Mythic game) there were 4 base classes, now while the names for the base classes differed between realms it basically boiled down to: Fighter, Healer, Rogue, Mage. At level 5, you picked your actual class. Take Midgard (Viking realm) and Fighter/Mage base classes for example: Base class = Viking: Warrior (Tank/DPS/heavy armor) Thane (Melee/Caster DPS Hybrid, heavy armor) Skald (Melee/Group buffs hybrid, heavy armor) Berserker (Dual Wield Melee DPS, Medium Armor) Base class = Mystic: Runemaster (AoE or Bolt damage and some utility depending on spec) Spiritmaster (Pet Class and PBAoE / Lifetaps Every single one of the "Advanced Classes" was different and had different mechanics, so no they were not the "same class, diff spec". The same thing holds true in SWTOR. Take my characters base class, the Trooper for example: Vanguard: Shield Spec = Melee Tank Tactics = Very mobile, melee / medium range, dps build Assault = Ranged but still mobile dps build Commando: Medic = Healer Gunnery = Stationary ranged dps with channel abilities Assault = Ranged but still mobile dps build Except for the same assault spec, which Bioware did for balancing reasons, the two classes are very different and require different play-styles/mindsets to learn and excel at. Allowing AC changes totally kills that and drives down the average level of skill/ability amongst the player base. Mythic did not allow AC changes back in 2001 and they won't now. DAoC was extremely successful when it came out just like SWTOR will be now.
  7. I can't remember the middle inventory slot upgrades, but the last 3 are 75k, 100k, 200k. Hope this helps.
  8. To echo my devil brethren above me, I am laughing as well. We never go below 6 ammo because our regen is worse.....it's called knowing how to use your class mechanics to your advantage
  9. The lvl 40 PVP set is all orange quality gear except for the belt and bracers, mine is full of level 50 mods as I farm my lvl 50 PvP gear.
  10. This made me happy, in a safe kind of way.
  11. /agree to the OP, big bags are nice though.
  12. While I agree that the game feels clunky at times, you guys have to realize the game came out offically today. If any of you played WoW at release, you'll know that this game is far and ahead where WoW was back in November 2004. The fact there are even battlegrounds in at release is a big step forward, WoW had zero (Yes, zero) for a good few months and all we did for PvP was attack capital cities and have an endless back and forth war in Hillsbrad Foothills. Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and chill.
