I never had a macro loop. Just a macro to pop a pouch any time I was paralyzed from a mage. Bound to a key. Whether I was on my mage or my melee. Anyone with bags, which was every decent pvper, didn't get paralyzed any longer then it took to hit their macro. At one point my melee was a spear user. It didn't proc 100%, It has been a long time, but I don't think it was even 50% proc rate. My melee toon was every type of weapon user at one point or another, other then an axer. Axer's didn't do a paralyze, but they were certainly OP for a while. TSL hosted a tournament at one point. On my melee character, I made it to the final round. At the time I used a sword, and a shield. He got lucky and procced on his axe twice in a row, while I failed to proc my shield twice in a row.. I lost. If that hadn''t of happened, I would of won otherwise. It was a very good tournament, everyone had fun. Pretty sure their was a lot less QQ in pvp back then. Of course it was great you could constantly change your skills to meet changes in skills. Their was definitely a community to the game. You knew your opponents, people had reputations. Even guilds had history. When I feel nostalgic, it's UO I feel the most for. Not that I would ever go back and play it, other then on a private shard. Which isn't all that much fun...since their usually seems to be a core group of people that gets free goodies from the admins.

So when your doing a Hard-mode or a pug raid, and that item you want finally drops, and your the only one of your class that doesn't have it, but everyone needs on it so they can sell it? Hell it could even happen on a guild raid...OOPS I didnt mean to need that. In the GTN shortly after raid is over, being sold by a lvl 10 alt that isn't in your guild.

Go search on Youtube for speed hack videos, where people show video proof of others speed hacking. I don't think 1 person scoring in Huttball 6 times in under 1 minute (or getting back to the ball spawn after scoring, before it re-spawns) is Force Speed or a speed boost power-up , Most you can score, by yourself and unopposed in 90 seconds, is 3 times.

Question is, was it absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for those players to leave. That is actually very important, because these players were in an open world pvp area, whether on a PVP, RP, or PVE server, were engaged in consensual PVP. If they were absolutely unable to leave, and then if they tried to get those Empire players to stop, and they would not, then they would have a good case for harassment. But only BW can make that call, as even their policy is somewhat vague. Their policy is so vague, I can make a case, by quoting the relevant areas of policy, that getting jumped by 2 or more Republic players, on the Empire side of the map(Where the Republic has no business being) while in the middle of defending a quest objective from some mobs(part of the quest), is harassment, as they meant to be disruptive, etc blah blah blah. Corpse camping is nothing new in any MMO that has pvp. Every game has ways around it however. Heck in EQ that involved waiting until that person got bored and left, are calling for help. Since then however, the ways of avoiding corpse camping has improved a lot. But like I said, if those players were utterly unable to leave, such as being able to use their quick travel, because they are killed on spawn, which I am thinking is likely the case, and they attempted to get the offending players to stop, which I am sure is also the case, I would say it was harassment. Of course, they could of just not rezzed, the EMpire players would of gotten bored and left. How it was handled back in the day anwyays.

How did we go from a 3k shield to a 6k shield? You can't even get a 6k shield, or even close with even the best gear. At level 50, Static Barrier absorbs 1162 + 327% of Force Healing Bonus before talents. With the Lightning tree talent "Lightning Barrier", this puts the absorption at around 3200 damage in Rakata operations gear, 12-15% of the max HP of a similarly geared tank. Many Sorcs you face will do considerably less. Some will do more. I was unable to find how much Force Healing bonus players have in PVP gear sets, I am ASSUMING, BM set is about same as Rakata OP's gear. Not to mention the fact that. PVP is almost always balanced around group play, not solo play. As a Sorc, and a healing sorc at that. I get focus'd down all the time, and there are classes, that when they actually play their class correctly, blow through me like I don't even exist. My whole guild, which does nothing but PVP all day long, agrees that Marauders are beasts in pvp, but they can be difficult to play as their playstyle is cumbersome. They also agree that Mercs suck in pvp, as dps, but not as Healers. Don't know if that's true from personal experience.

WoW has it, Rift has it. Implemented to save on Customer Service calls to get refunds. Grace period is usually an hour or 2, provided you don't equip it, or use it, split the stacks, etc. I myself just bought the wrong crew skill item from a crew skill vendor. Almost the same name, difference is, it cost me 20k for what I bought, instead of 2500, and my profession doesn't even use them. If I want to sell them back currently, I will get 2k credits.

Banning IP's does not work, ever heard of proxies? Gives them the IP of some other country, as well as they likely don;t have static IP's, so their IP changes, or can be made to change, would have to ban the whole country. I remember some MMO I played once banned all IP's not for that demographic, like all non-US IP's were banned for US servers, made absolutely no difference, except legitimate players were unfairly banned. Reporting someone is not an instant ban, although reporting should, if it doesn't already, put them on ignore. I used to have an addon on WoW that did a damn good job of blocking spam messages, utilizing keywords, so hopefully can get something that that someday.
