  4. Yes sent/mara are overpowered. 3 defensive CD's, 1 camo, AOE stun, best DPS in game, transcendance, inspiration.

  6. Assault for PvP: 1. How do you think your Commando spec is perceived by other classes? Useless. A dps commando has less utility and less damage output than any other dps class and is perceived as a waste of space. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? Weak. It upsets me that a vanguard can have an almost identical spec to me but do more damagae even though they have worse gear.

  8. vanguard:How could you possibly not list Riot strike in your list? 9>Riot strike (interrupt) 10>60% change to reset HiB with instant ability, 45% with instant spammable ability (against 3sec channeled and 1.5sec cast) so there are atleast 6 different things that make a vanguard a better class. The 3. and 10. being a very big difference becouse if you know when you aplied your plasma cell you also know when to reset its duration with Hib.

  10. it's 2.5k single heal, so you must have accidently used adv or regular medical probe
  11. The changes made are so miniscual that they really have no effect on commando dps or survibility, only real change is the 30% armor penetration for 2 attacks but that dosnt bring us anywhere near the other dps classes, specially as our survival gets a nerf again.
  12. Grv round will do exact same damage as before, so will demo round only full auto and high impact bolt gets a small buff.
  13. The thing is, biggest complaints on forums havent been about ammo management. I never had ammo problems while playing gunnery commando, normal rotation with full auto and an extra hammer shot here and there was enough to keep ammo up. Biggest concerns have been about not having enough burst damage to kill players in pvp and problems with survibility and not having enough dps to contribute in pve. The ammo buff is more of an workaround to the old not properly working skill (where full auto did not generate extra ammo) and you solution to our problems is a slightly faster gain for 5% bonus for HiB and 5% bonus to defense while nerfing 4% of healling received. With the HiB CD being so long you were usually able to gain that 5% Charge barrel anyways so only dps buff is the 3% accuracy swap to 30% armor reduction to 2 attacks. Wich is nothing and will not make us any more viable in ranked wz's or endgame pve.
  14. Well, if you've got those stats without need of grinding extra gear you should be happy bout it. I went a bit different way and in order to achieve the stats I wanted I had to buy multiple bm pieces to swap the mods around and then after 1.2 I had to do it all again to wh gear. If 3% accuracy is really that significant to you just grind few more pieces, with valor 90 I would assume you allready got some extra tokens lying around.
  15. You still didnt answer the question about how you managed to get into those stats without swapping mods? I have 107% accuracy with 104 accuracy rating and I'm using 58 enhacment on my gloves and black hole enhacment in my headpiece to lower my accuracy so you either have swapped some mods around to get to that 100% accuracy and should have the accuracy mods somewhere or you're just trolling. Also grinding a new weapon would be useless as the gun dosn't have accuracy in it. Earpiece then again has and it is one the most easieast pieces to get and you dont need a BM piece to get it.
  16. How did you manage to get into these stats without swapping mods from another gear? Most Wh pieces have accuracy in them so you must have allready grinded multiple sets to swap mods, where are all those pieces that had accuracy in them? You're getting a 30% armor penetration for 2 main attacks from a tier 1 skill and youre complaining about 3% accuracy lost? Seriously theres more important things to be adressed than this. Oh and btw you're self-healing is nerfed too by 4% if you go healer, how you gonna deal with that?

Exept part 3, 3 gravity rounds allready give you 5 stack of gravity vortex for demo round but after 1.3 you dont need to shoot another 2 GR to get charged barrel/barrier to 5 stack. Sentinels and vanguards will still do more damage than us and we still cant kill any other classes than non-healer sorcs.

I've now done some testing on pts with gunnery commando and heres my toughts: I never had any problems with ammo management while playing gunnery so that buff dosnt mean anything for me, 2 stacks of charged barrier/barrel + 3 points in assault tree give a small ingrease in dps but is nowhere near the heavy dps classes (sentinel/vanguard) and even a smaller buff for defense. Assault gets a small buff for dps Medics get nerfed again. So we will still get stomped by any another dps class and we cant kill any tanking class nor a healer but we will be a bit more usefull for pve.
  19. More talents and more skillpoints just means that the allready ovepowered classes are gonna be even more overpowered. From past experiences I dont have much faith on BW's ability to balance these changes.

    I got 2 weeks left on my free month, I have allready unsubbed and if something amazing dosn't happen (server merges being the only thing I can imagine happening in so short time) I wont be resubbing.

  23. Maybe this is the something that they "fixed" in 1.2.0c. Not realising that the extra damage beyond 25% was coming from another talent.
  24. As this guy clearly has no idea about commando skills or usage of them, I'll try to explain atleast few of them. 1. Grav round does not ignore defenses or shield. Only the debuff sticks but all damage can be mitigated. Spamming just grav round wont win us any fights, it's just the most common basic attack that we use to proc/buff other abilities. Other classes usuallu have instant basic abilities, we need to cast them. 2. Again all our attacks can be defensed, shielded, absorbed etc etc. Atleast you had a skill tree that you were able to switch to, we dont.. 3. Grav round is ranged 4. We can't switch to assault as it would just make us even more worse. Yes we would gain some mobility but we still need to use full auto in it, grav round is just switched to charged bolts and we gain 1 attack that costs 1/3 of our ammo (not even gonna bother trying to explain how commando ammo recharge works) and overall dps in assault tree is significally lower. So maybe you should think twice before calling someone ignorant. I could do a list of sniper abilities here that are easy mode and overpowered and call you a cover crouching noob but I wont as it would just make me as ignorant as you.
