  1. Two years now, at least, since this bug was reported, and despite them claiming they are working on it obviously they are not since this can't be a very difficult thing to fix. Outright lying to their players aren't likely to make said players be more satisfied. An honest answer in line with "Yeah, we are aware of this little snafu but since it isn't game disrupting/breaking it is not a priority and hence will likely not be fixed in the near future. We understand that this might affect immersion for many players and for that we are sorry, and we hope that you can appreciate the rest of the content despite this." would actually be a lot better, if disappointing of course. At least it fits with our expectations at this point.

  3. The solutions to these things would be to, for instance, use yellow chrystals which aren't restricted to either side, or for BioWare to introduced some expensive and rare off-aligned red, blue, and green chrystals that you can work on getting your hands on if visual exception to the rule is important to your toon specifically. Not just removing the restrictions. That will take away from the soul of the Star Wars Universe they have created for no real gain other than perhaps satisfying some loadmouths in the forumes who wants everything easy and cheap. Going this path is what killed a LOT of games in the past. Equal and easy is not the path to keep your players interested and staying for a long time.
  4. On the Internet you can find anything, including cars that fly, holographic projectors, and people living in underground earthmounds. That doesn't mean its the norm. Sure there are some authors (and artists apparantly) who portray individual exceptions to the soft rule of what color lightsabers are used by the two major groups of wielders. But removing the restrictions does not create a gaming world where exceptions will be possible but a world where there will be no rule to be the exception to, at all. It takes away a fundamental diversion that is visually a trademark of Star Wars pretty much. Also, if every exception you can scrounge up has to be implemented as an open and unrestricted choice the game would become a total mess. Everything is restricted in one way or another, why not restrict something that actually creates a visible and common known diversity between Sith and Jedi?
  5. Post said they're removing the bind on them.
  6. So yeah... they're taking out the coolest looking landspeeders in the game because of "customer complaints"? Why? Why this arbitrary and seriously weird decision?
  7. Actually, the "fact" books I've read have stated the color difference to come from that Sith produced artificial chrystals, which were red, while the Jedi order got their chrystals from established republic planets and hence had ample supply of natural chrystals of an array of colors, though no red. This, hence, became a tradition of distinctions. I never heard of any hard rules for either side. However, forcing us as players to a color distinction is a way to simulate the distinctions and by doing so adds to the Star Warsy feel of lightsaber colors. Why even bother with a Star Wars game if nothing is holy and anything can be done in any way?
  8. Even if lore says that Sith didn't use lightsabers at this era (personally I have no idea), and even if there are cases were non-George Lucas writers portrayed Sith with non-red lightsabers or Jedi with red ones, it just doesn't feel Star Warsy with such exceptions. Especially since I think we all know pretty well that it won't just be one or two guys deciding to be that exception, but probably half or more of the playerbase, hence completely destroying any Star Warsy feel to the color of lightsabers. What is the gain for the game in that? None! None whatsoever. It just sucks a part of the soul out of it which is not a good way to flirt with SW fans. Bad move!
  9. I am very much aware that they aren't /actually/ zombies, but they are very much the equivalence to zombies in many ways, and watching that video they released for the new flashpoint it is quite obvious that the zombie apocalypse is what they are aiming for. Whatch it if you haven't already. Its like taken directly from Resident Evil.
  10. Why is the focus of the first "expansion" on zombies? Why is the new flashpoint a zombie outbreak á la Resident Evil? Not even remotely is there anything star warsy in zombie apocalypse. While a really cool theme, it makes it feel less Star Wars, not more. I would like an answer to this. I just want to understand.
  11. Why only three more places? If at least we knew the strategy or reasons for the limited number of GTN's, we would understand and appreciate the system as it is, and give advice based on those circumstances. But all we know today is that the number is severely limited, they are usually a fair bit away from the spaceports, and rarely show up on the map even if you have the GTN checked on it. Crafting and economy suffers because it seems the /vast/ majority of the players can't be arsed to go so far out of their way to reach them, and for us that does its a time consuming effort that seems to be forced on us for no apparant reason. If you guys /really/ want to improve on this according to our needs and wishes, don't ask for three places, just place one at each market area, each spaceport, and a select couple of remote taxi stations on each planet. Give us accessibility and GTN's will be very much more used, making player to player market interaction booming, with increased value to crafting as a whole as a result. As to the strategy behind the present low number of GTN's, we can only speculate. If the goal is to herd players to certain hubs, its not working, because people don't flock around these few spots. Instead they ignore them. If the reason is more because of system resources, database access lag or whatever, then I vote that its worth putting some extra resources into supporting more GTN's, even if I had to pay another euro per month for it. More info please!
  12. Lately, for some reason, I've had pretty big delays on a lot of my BH attacks as well, just as you explain about the Trooper. I don't know why, I didn't have them at first that I can recall. Though it might be that Troopers are affected more by this than BH and other classes, it definately is something they must adress for all classes. Could it simply be a latency problem?
  13. Looking at hundreds of posts in the FB-group where people report also it seems obvious the cut-off was at 10th of november for this wave. Anyone stating a later date than that is likely just trolling.
  14. Still, if a vast majority chose to skill biochem, it will make the other crafts more rare, hence more profitable, again balancing out their worth over time.
  15. Is it possible to twink items between your toons, like sending items through mail system or similar between characters? Also, shouldn't player economy self-nerf biochem? I mean, if /everyone/ does it, then noone will be interested in buying them, which means market prices will be lower than production costs, which means people will stop making them and go another craft instead, balancing it out over time.
