  1. No he's suggesting a different version of the i7. Since you're not super tech savvy then the easiest upgrade for you would be the new SandyBridge processors from Intel. Just stick with an i5 SandyBridge since the i7 has no real advantages when it comes to gaming.
  2. Yes. It's the exact same processor socket.
  3. Save your money for the new mobo and proc. Upgrading your RAM will help, but you won't notice much of a difference until you get a better proc.
  4. I live in Alaska and play on an East Coast server. I have very minimal lag and my latency is right around 120ms constantly. You will be fine.
  5. What "facts" have you shown? Please enlighten me...
  6. Yeah I'm a fanboy, but I don't care. This is the most fun I've had in awhile.
  7. Of course anything extra you are doing is going to increase the usage per hour. I don't know exactly how latency affects usage, but I think it may have something to do with it as well.
  8. Equals out to about 68 megs per hour of play. Point proven. You say you've used 50 gigs out of 60 gigs, but I'm assuming your usage starts at the beginning of each month and you didn't get to play until at least the 13th so you have to factor that in... Edit: Also you have to factory in if you're on ventrilo or mumble or any thing like that...
  9. The most you should see is maybe around 100 megs an hour. It's usually around 40-60 megs around a game like WoW so it is probably going to be the same for TOR.
  10. I live in Alaska and they are jerks and like to make us have a montly cap as well. I play games online CONSTANTLY, including this game since I've gotten in. And I stream Netflix/Pandora ALL the time and have not even came close to my 200gig cap....Netflix is the killer, though. If you're streaming it in HD it will eat up a LOT of data. Other than that, it's really hard to break an internet cap. Trust me, unless you have some silly cap of like 10gigs a month you really shouldn't be worried at all.
  11. That is so wrong that it's not even funny. You cannot use 5 gigs of just playing an MMO unless you are streaming something along with it or downloading other stuff at the same time or have other people on your network using the internet. It is literally impossible for this game or WoW for that matter to use 5 gigs of data (downloading and uploading) in 8 hours.
  12. Thanks for this. I usually have a ping of around 130 so I'll bump it back up!
  13. Could you elaborate more? I'm curious to how this is supposed to work.
  14. As far as I'm aware, we Twi'leks cannot wear hoods because of our leku's. I have inspected other people with the same robe as me on and they had a hood up on it...A little sad, but I love my leku's. Wish BioWare would have made it where we can have a hood and our leku's just wrap over the front of our shoulders onto our chests.
