  1. I have never encountered such an unfriendly and hostile community. I won't group because of that and just because you join a guild, doesn't mean that it won't be full of ******s or the next one. Which really boggles me because if everyone loves star wars, why is the game so full of animosity? I am not saying that everyone should be a carebear, I love sarcasm and such, but there isn't any reason for how rude people are in this game. maybe its just the way of MMO's now, which is a shame.
  2. auto running into a wall doesn't work, i have tried it. Only thing that has worked, is using clamps on my forward arrow and left/right arrow keys. Heavy enough fishing weights would probably work as well, but I didn't have any of those. I do agree with the OP, it should be extended.
  3. ^this If BW/EA put in a rainbow sparkly lightsaber crystal, so be it. Whatever get them to add more stuff. As much as I dislike eq2, their cash shop has some very unique items in it. tons of mounts and new items get added every tuesday. They even started a program where the players can create and submit items that they created and if its picked to go in the market, they get a % of it. not a bad idea.
  4. I don't think it should be as easy as paying credits and having 10 guild members to start. It takes 12 members to have access to be able to buy guild banks. Before something like this happens, BW should implement guild lvls (not sure if they have said there would be guild lvls in the future or not). EQ2 has a decent guild lvling model, in EQ2 you gain guild exp by killing some instance bosses, raid bosses always give exp and by doing repeatable city faction quests. There are other methods but these are the main ones people use. Higher the lvl of your guild, the more ships you can add to your fleet. This would give guilds something to work for and increase content without much effort. But i love the idea and I think a guild fleet would be awesome. great idea and well planned out by the OP.
  5. if all you are looking for is a lightsaber that looks like the echo of xoxaan, you can try Virtuous Venerable Vindicator's Lightsaber I found it on the GTN and it looks the same to me. edit: just read that you have one that looks like it already so this isn't what you are looking for so ignore.
  6. Having 4 lvl 50's Imps and another 4 in the mid 20's on the pub side, I have come to hate all planets. I am seriously thinking about lvling alts only through space missions.
  7. I like them all...my only wish is that you could choose body style with customizations. Mako and Kaliyo need to eat something, they are just so damn skinny.
  8. Gonna have to go with Skadge...I picked every option so I wouldn't have to take him, but it didn't work. I will say that I am getting sick of hearing Torian and his "pakod" after every crafting mission i send him on. wth is pakod anyway?
  9. Should see EQ2 F2P. Can't wear certain types of armor unless you buy unlocks, can't use abilities above a certain quality, can only have 18 platinum, can't use the broker and tons of other stuff. But I will say their shop has some really awesome fluff and mounts that you can buy. Hopefully they will add things to the cartel shop, cause i would spend money there if i had a reason. But if its the same crap that I can already get, what a waste. I am hoping for a manta speeder.
  10. this is right. Bioware stated in one of those Q&A sessions they used to have that q'ing for specific WZ wouldn't happen till cross server q's we available and they didn't have an ETA for that.

  12. just a thought, but maybe some of these tanks haven't optimized their skill trees for pve? For me, I will put points that make sense for pvp play and since i just run dailies, it doesn't effect me that much. However, I would look at those skills a little differently if I were doing nothing but FPs and OPs.
  13. Not sure about armoring and mods, but when I bought a couple of rakata implants, it had the same stats as my battlemaster implants, minus the expertise of course. So I bought implants for my companion instead.
  14. I have 10k affection with all my companions. but I guess I am the only one having these issues so I will just chalk it up to bad luck. thank god its not another bug lol
  15. 5 out of 7 slicing missions I have sent him on have failed to yield anything. I know it could just be bad luck, but seriously, 5 of 7? Anyone else experiencing a higher rate of unsuccessful missions from this guy?
  16. I think people have just given up hope that the devs will ever care enough about mercs to fix them. The bugs that effect dps are well known and there are a couple of threads about it already and still nothing to fix them in this last patch. Its been over 2 weeks, I think BW/EA has forgotten that they have commandos/mercs in swtor.
  17. I never had to log out and back in and I farmed them for awhile. Although, after 1.4, I killed them and only got credits. Didn't bother going back after that. I love the sound of vettes abilities (smugglers have the same sound fx, charged blast i think) are there any pistols with that same sound. Looking for something with more of a gunshot than a pew pew. thanks
  18. I actually came to the forums to see if anyone else are having dps issues. I haven't taken any more or any less damage than normal, but my dps is garbage. Usually I can crit with heat seeker upwards of about 4.7k and now i am lucky if it crits for 3.5. its the same with rail shot, unload and tracer missile itself. I spec'd to pyro to see if it was any better and thermal detonator was only hitting for about 3.2k crits. I can try and take some screenshots later. I hope this is just a bug and they will fix it on the 9th. If not, i guess i will go back to my sniper since his dps seems normal.

  20. Yeah i would have to say that the resolve is not working as intended. I thought that as soon as your resolve is full, it wouldn't start going down till after the last stun had ended. Well, its not doing that. I have waited through one stun, on second stun (when resolve bar is full) i used stun breaker and immediately got stunned again. EQ2 had a decent system for controlling stuns, mezzes, stiffles, dazes and the like. Once you were CC'd so many times, you had an immunity for a certain amount of time...think it was like 30sec or a minute. But most of your skills in EQ2 had different mechanics for PVP. So if there was a stun that you used in pve and it last for 4sec. it only lasted 2 in pvp. If you aren't going to change the resolve system, at least reduce the length of the stun, 4-8+ seconds is just ridiculous. I would love to see a different system for cc avoidance altogether. All I do is pvp or try to make money. How pvp is right now, isn't fun. So, like others, i think its time for a break from pvp. I call for a strike! STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE!!
  21. Its not just PvP, while lvling my marauder (lvl 46) I have noticed its not applying its damage to mobs. Its not every time, but enough that I have noticed.
  22. if we had a day/night cycle, i bet coruscant would be awesome looking at night...I probably wouldn't leave. Other problem with fleet is that its always so packed, the air purifiers aren't working so well..it smells like feet and ***!
  23. sniper has the same for main stat bonus. Sniper gear is about the same for endurance, but the merc has about 1k more due to skill tree choices. I have collected quite a few of the datacrons, even the ones for aim since that does help some. but i do not have them all and the merc doesn't have any of the datacrons.
  24. i perform better on my merc than i do my sniper and I still can't figure out why my dmg on the sniper is lower. My rotation on my sniper in pvp is never set due to the chaos that pvp is. I should still be doing way better tho. As someone else stated, its most likely the power and the skill tree differences as far as the difference in stats. I love my sniper, but I guess I am just not as good on it as I am the merc.
