I feel like the Consular story has more impact, since you are dealing with actual republic politics and deal with solving bigger than life conflicts. Also, you get to see what happened to Bastila Shan. My advice would be to simply try them, if you don't like them you can always delete the characters.

I'm talking about Seers. Since we mostly rely on the companion Qyzen to survive, at least I do, I wonder why he seems to be the only companion so far that does not have a customization skin. Like the Sith Sorcere's companion has, or even the T7 droid of the Jedi Knight, In other words, I feel like Qyzen needs more attention to detail, since we are stuck with him most of the time. Also, whats the best way to equip him? is it better to give him a vibrosword or a staff?

maybe I should make another thread with a different question. what would the jedi have to change in order to appease you and see them as the good guys and the sith as the bad guys. I know, I know, most people like to go for the gray side, but the jedi are supposed to be the good guys and the sith the bad guys, this is just a fictional story after all, and its the principles of each side that determine said sides. So in your opinion what would you change from the mythology of the jedi or the sith to make them truly "good" or "evil", I would include the republic and the empire on that question. I mean, for example, if it was you call, would you make it so that the Jedi could actually marry and have children freely?

Vinoda has experienced first hand the consequences and actions of the darkside first hand by losing his family to Sith slavers, and he seeks to end it whenever he can, he is a Jedi who follows the code, but there are things that he does not necessarily agree with, mainly with the Jedi's views on love. While Love is an essential part of the Jedi's life, attachments to people are shunned away so that the Jedi are not tempted into the darkside, but Vinoda feels like history has demonstrated that a lover can be the very thing that saves a Jedi from his own damnation, while he will remain true to the ways of the Jedi in front of the council, he hopes to come to a point in his life where he can influence the decisions of the council and maybe change the rules to allow the Jedi to enjoy love in all it's ways, maybe even finally recognizing old Jolee Bindo as an important member of the Order, even if he did not wish to relate to it, for his thoughts on love and relationships could serve the Jedi well. For now however, Vinoda strives to vanquish the darkness wherever he goes, he knows humility but not stupidity, he will always be willing to offer his hand, but always keep his guard up, he knows that if he wanted, he could bring so much pain and destruction to the galaxy, but seeing as how there is enough of that, he does not need to add to it.

You think people would like the Jedi more if they where allowed to fall in love and keep spouses as well as have children? Seems to be one of the things that makes the jedi feel so alien for some people.

to be fair, writing situations like this is not as easy as many would think.

obviously there needs to be some enemies that get close to you so you have a reason to use your close-up moves and to keep you from spamming the same attack. But I would prefer if they used knives or something similar instead of batons. But I guess they figured that the animations would not be appreciated fully if they did that.

I know its not possible, but I wish corsucant was an open world where could go anywhere you wanted. that would take decades to program but still... anyway, I like corsucant a lot, I just wish its streets didn't look very similar to one another.

oh yeah, but since no one seems to care about that period anymore I am talking about jedi weddings if they could have done it from the beginning.

Imagine if the Jedi could marry. I wonder how a wedding ceremony would be like? Assuming the couple are both force-sensitive, I think they would be surrounded by friends and other Jedi. A Jedi master could say something to the couple along the lines of "through the Force you have become one" and "May your love become your greatest strength in the darkest of hours", something inspiring and mystical like that. Then they would bring in a special crystal and the couple would use the force to split the crystal in two, and then use both parts of that crystal to each of them build a new lightsaber or just modify the one they already have. Once finished they ignite their lightsabers with the crystals inside, symbolizing their union, and make their union official with a kiss. Other Jedi would stand with their lightsabers to honor the couple's marriage and once they all shut them down the ceremony is over and they celebrate the new couple's marriage. And then the sith come in and storm the wedding and the jedi fight them off. That could be the way a movie starts.

To do good is fun, not because I get my way of things, but because I like to be the hero of the story. And why do we continue to argue on whether the jedi are hypocritical? They may not be perfect, but they would save your life if its in danger whether a sith would just take the opportunity.

exactly, and now that we have established THIS identity of the Jedi we can see why so many people dislike them or find them hard to relate to. Maybe I just like being a calm hero who understands what needs to be done and sacrifices personal priorities for the good of everyone else around them. hmmm
