  1. Dark sided Jaesa prefers Luxury and Weapons. Light sided Jaesa prefers Republic Memorabilia and Cultural Artifacts.
  2. I've often said that complaints about immersion being broken are really just an excuse for a lack of imagination. Vette does choose to help you. Right out the gate. You need her to access the tombs, and what happens? Vemrin attacks you and instead of helping him kill you, or using the distraction to escape, she stays and helps you defeat him. How many battles were you in that Vette could have shot you in the back? Especially once you get to Balmorra and she could easily surrender to Republic troops who would be sympathetic to her. And with the amount of time she spent on Nar Shaddaa in the past she could easily have slipped your leash at any time. Vette's really only there because she wants to be. And that's why you can't "break" her. You want the option to kill her to be implemented again? But you're ot thinking about the option for her to kill you? Like it or not, it's not a full sandbox story. Companions are just too important in this game. Killing one puts your character at a disadvantage. So if you don't like Vette, just gear up the ship's droid when you get it and "send your slave" out on missions or chain her to the workstation and have her build stuff for you.
  3. Light side still gets the Darth title. I chose Banishment and was told there was a suitably desolate place to dump him on and that Vowran would take great pleasure in thinking of Baras there. Honestly, the Sith Warrior story is one of my favorite Star Wars™ stories of all time. I enjoyed every part of it from beginning to end.
  4. It's not so much that people were stupid and couldn't handle it. The companions eventually became so important that your character was permanently weakened if you lost one. Kill a companion or two and you can't craft as fast as other people can. Kill off Quinn and one day when you're doing a group quest with a couple of people and they say "Bring out Quinn, we need a healer here" you have to say "Um... I killed that guy..." and suddenly you're out of the group while they get a replacement warrior. On a side note, I like how every time I come to the Warrior forum there's a new thread with someone complaining that they couldn't kill Quinn for his betrayal.
  5. Jaesa wasn't raised as a Jedi. She was a handmaiden and the daughter of servants in a royal house. She grew up watching the weak (commoners) serving the royalty (strong). All the warrior does (light or dark) is show Jaesa that Nomen Karr was a hypocrite. There's nothing really shattering about that. And Anakin's fall to the dark side came from his own paranoia. The only event that could be considered shattering was the knowledge that he had killed his own wife. Which happened after he had ground out a bunch of dark side points on the Jedi younglings.
  6. Quinn belongs to the camp that believes that the Republic should have been crushed instead of signing a peace treaty with them. So when Baras forces the war, in Quinn's mind, Baras was doing what should have been done a long time ago. Since Quinn owes everything to Baras it wouldn't have made sense for him to just instantly lose that loyalty. In fact, I thought my character was a little on the stupid side for just wandering off with Quinn in the first place. Baras has spies everywhere, so I always assumed Quinn was spying on me. If nothing else, I'd have at least left Pierce with orders to shoot Quinn on sight if he returned without me.
  7. I don't really remember how high her affection has to be, but there's several conversations before you get to her quest. I'm thinking it's probably going to be around the 3500 area.
  8. This isn't really true. When she first joins you, she considers herself a Jedi. But as time goes on, she realizes that the Jedi code is flawed. This is why one of her first comments is "If I can step out of character and speak as a Jedi" and one of her last comments is that she's hoping that you will have children, and that she is willing to have children, something that she wouldn't do if she was still thinking of herself as a Jedi. If you're not married to Vette, she says she'd be honored to have children with you. So the idea that she's not attracted to the warrior is just as flawed as thinking she's still a Jedi.
  9. Check and make sure you've activated your tanking form. If you're not in Soresu form, you're not going to generate enough aggro to tank with.
  10. Personally I love the light side warrior story. I was talking about it at work and a guy who doesn't even play video games asked "can you watch it or do have to play the game?" (I suspect Bioware could make a fortune converting their stories to movies or television series.) But if it bothered me that much, I'd just reroll. Although I'd finish Chapter 1 first and open up the Legacy experience gain if I hadn't already. That being said, I really don't see the big issue with romance-ability since once you finish the companion quests there's no further interaction. It's not like Dragon's Age where you can just go visit Morrigan, kiss her, and have her say "Such a romantic..."
  11. I would have liked a romance arc with light sided Jaesa, but it wasn't in the game so I followed it with Vette. But, once the conversation arcs are completed, other than some mail she sent, there's really nothing left. You can't just go to her and flirt/kiss/fade to black with her like you could with Morrigan in Dragon's Age, for example. You just finish the arc and then that's it. As far as dark sided Jaesa becoming promiscuous, it's because Sith follow their passions. And light side Jaesa isn't really bloodthirsty. She says things such as "their pain is exquisite" because she's playing the part of a dark Sith apprentice. She does still consider herself a Jedi, at least for a time. It's not until the last conversation that you have a chance to mention children to her. If you're married to Vette then you can mention that you encourage her to get married to and that you'll raise and train her children as if they were your own. If I were to play my character again (and I just might, I've really enjoyed the Sith Warrior story line) I'd probably bypass the Vette romance option. Once I got Jaesa I just stopped using Vette because Jaesa compliments my immortal juggernaut so well. And it just feels funny that my character has his "wife" back on the ship while he runs around with another woman. Plus, Jaesa doesn't dislike when I'm respectful to people in Imperial authority positions like Vette does. So Jaesa just fits the way I play my character better. Plus, lightsaber sounds are cooler than blaster sounds.
