  1. I only had to face a 10 minute queue on JJT.
  2. I went onto JJT since it is another server with several Australian guilds on it but isn't as populated as Harbinger, at most I only had a 10 minute queue, other times while Harbinger was at full, it seemed to be at just 'very heavy' for a majority of the time excluding peak hours.
  3. Actually Bioware is a Canadian company! And this OP is indeed annoying... He either knows not how to research or comprehend a points out irrelevant things and such...
  4. All you people and your fancy lunches... Jelly, I am!
  5. I have... Shipping estimate: December 19, 2011 Delivery estimate: December 21, 2011 - December 27, 2011
  6. Well written and put out to try putting some sense into them, sadly I think most of them continue to miss the points as long as they're not in their silly little race to the first to whatever or the best or whatever else for their egos. Straight up despite your whole descriptive post shedding light on the networking things they go straight into arguing! Tried time and time again to point out some logic to them, networking, project management, why their arguments are overly flawed, it's no good! They have no patience! I insist they must be culled! Excellent insight and logical and detailed posts though
  7. lol RP dating service... Ah dear some stuff makes me laugh
  8. This is it people, today's the day that November gets access! Why are you all not celebrating as you eagerly await?!
  9. Trolling someone for making a valid suggestion toward having the forums clean and refreshing? Classy...
  10. This is why we need to start culling the population for population control! Cull the unintelligent ones who fail at school! Or make them into servitors who are programmed to do all the basic stuff for us... Save humanity and its gene pools!
  11. Besides, the 15th is just starting meaning there's still 5 days of early access left meaning they haven't given any less than 5 days yet!

  13. I give Bioware an A+ for their project management score. Keep up the good work Bioware! The majority of us are behind you, just ignore the small few screamers like a triage system, they may be loud, but it's only a minority and it's certainly not any real issue!
  14. I've been trying to gain weight, especially when I was with the Army, but I'm not very good at eating much while spending too much time at a gym at the same time, meaning I get more smaller rather than build up...
  15. The twitter comments? What? You're talking about how there was one comment asking someone to stop using their twitter to complain about wanting to be in the game saying that they were trying to deal with more important issues? That's certainly not out of order... It's inevitable that in an MMO, someone will have been playing longer than you... Straight after the launch it becomes completely ordinary. Your name doesn't need to be secure if it's original and creative, and again, there will always be names taken straight after launch so again that's unavoidable and inevitable. This one... is... I don't even know how that's an argument, you can just find out about the economy and start taking part in it as soon as you get in. How exactly does an MMO get harder and harder due to people playing it? So you're saying basically, after a week, a game becomes unplayable and supremely difficult just because there have been other people playing before you? Again this is inevitable that names will be taken up - but if you have an imagination, you can think of a good unused name. How are prices going up?? If anything they'd be going down for the lower level - supply and demand, as the higher levels don't need the lower level stuff anymore the prices begin to go down while the stuff around their levels keep averaged out. Of course people are higher level, it's an MMO! But that changes nothing! Your arguments for saying Bioware is terrible - are terrible. I really have nothing more to say about such terrible reasoning... Good day sir.
  16. And everyone will live happily ever after, the end! No, a good customer is a gullible customer who buys thing with lots of moving parts that break and then have them come in to pay more money to fix the broken stuff. But I believe everyone will be more happy to get invited and find super smooth and stable gameplay rather than all come in at once and fight over quest stuff with overcrowding or lag out and crash.
  17. I remember how someone said it was a sort of lose/lose situation for Bioware... well kind of... but that here they are doing things right and they get complainers, but if they would do things the other way and had of let everyone in at once with all the lag and performance issues then all these same people and more would more than likely come along complaining... As the saying goes - you can't please everyone! There'll always be someone who disagrees and or complains, most sadly...
  18. This is a story about a blue guy in a blue world? And all day and all night everything he sees is blue?
  19. They're doing it for multiple reasons, not just to stop overcrowding, but this method also eases the servers into taking the amount of load they have to, and I'm assuming the 16 or 18 hour breaks or whatever between each days end and beginning waves is time spent monitoring and making fixes or upgrades to smoothen out the servers performance completely. So by the time of the 20th the servers will be eased fully into how much performance loads are put onto them and will have had all issues worked out, thanks to slowly placing the work load onto the servers wave by wave until they've got everyone in which should be by the 16th - by then the servers will be pretty well eased and used to the performance demands put on them and upgraded/fixed if required and will then be able to handle everyone well for all future restarts and mass log ins.
  20. Project Management 101, if a plan is going smoothly and keeps the project within project tolerances, DO NOT suddenly decide - 'hey we can put more pressure onto this execution, and simply because we can we will despite the potential of risk', Project Management is designed to ensure the project is as successful as possible, and deviating from a working smooth plan just because you think the project can take it, is always a terrible move, you especially do not alter stage plans while the stage is occurring and going well, especially when what you're deviating towards has had risks identified toward it, project management is about avoiding risks and keeping in project tolerances! The projects board would probably burn the project manager for suddenly redirecting the project towards potential risk.
  21. And they have stress tested it, now they're easing the load onto the servers as gently as possible to keep it nice and stable. And as said previously, the preorderers are the majority of the players upon launch, *and*, the preorderers are the ones that are always all excited and try to get into the game the moment it's launched - because they are given a copy of the game ready for the launch or preload etc. Those who haven't preordered wont all suddenly come on at the same time, that would be some unnatural phenomenon if somehow a whole tidal wave of people who haven't been eased in suddenly all happened to buy the game and log in at the same time... But with the preorders all eased in as waves and spread out throughout the game with the servers made used to the load/fixed or upgraded, the servers could easily take another preorderer sized wave that they've been introducing each day which is the most that could ever suddenly happen. This is a well thought out launch process which is an excellent stability plan.
