Uhh, hi. Yeah, it's been in development for something more like 4, and announced 3 years ago. It's pre-order date was only started in july of this year. I don't save my pennies up for a game I want with an undefined release date. When the pre orders were accessible, I didn't even have 5 bucks to put down on the game. First day I was able to I marched over and did, turns out that it was unfortunately on the latter half of dec. 2nd.

please.. people.. do a little bit of searching before posting more of these. Not only are there a few dozen of these exact threads floating around, but if you looked at the stick about invites, it prettymuch says right in the second post that they're inviting late oct to late november today guaranteed.

No, I'm not mad. I'm actually curious though, what's going to happen when they take the servers down to patch or do maintenance? Will we only be allowed back in in waves again? It's essentially going to be the same thing you're trying to avoid with this EGA, one giant spike will log in as soon as the servers are brought back up.

I was thinking the same thing. If EGA is still a "beta" in a sense (Which in all honesty it is.) Then it would make the most sense to actually get a stress test out of the servers by getting as many people in as possible. The downside to that is there's no real "oops" button. If they do let the rest of the people in and the servers crash, then that's that. All servers go down until the problem is solved.
