  1. Overall? Hope. Republic Troopers and Jedi fighting against the odds - that was amazing. I didn't like the fight scenes in that one though. For the best combat scene definitely Deceived.
  2. We're not actively recruiting. You're welcome to contact me in game. We can play together and see how it goes - there's always room for exceptional players
  3. Thank you all for your applications. We had great response from a lot of really nice players. The recruitment is currently closed. Thanks Niigty - see you soon in RWZ.
  4. Who are we? We're an international PvP oriented guild. We are focused on getting results, but we want to avoid the big ego e-peen measuring atmosphere. We help out our less geared members offering advice, help with crafting and completing dailies. We try to run our guild as casually as possible, without sacrificing efficiency. We have our own TS server and guild forums. Who are we looking for? We are looking for active (we don't take attendance, but we want to see you around) players who enjoy a challenge of PvP and want to constantly improve their play and share their knowledge with other players. Currently we are looking mostly for DPS players, however we are looking for players not classes so any application regardless of class or role will be considered. For more info contact Jarre, Alinoe or Visua in game.
  5. I work as a software designer and from my professional experience I can tell you that bugs like the ones fixed today are simple to find (something that happens 100% of a time in a given scenario is easily traceable) and usually simple to fix. They happen all the time the only thing here is that it somehow (shame on you BW!) got passed internal testing. The PvP bugs are more of a annoying random occurrence (while still game breaking when they occur). Since a developer can't reproduce the bug (I for example never got stuck in spawn on any of my characters, some of them being over valor rank 80, but it happened to my gf on regular basis and for some unknown reason stopped after a month) they can't see whats broken. To be clear I do think PvP needs more attention from the dev team but more on the design front (ie more content). The programmers imo do a great job keeping a complex piece of software like this relatively bug free. Think of it: when your OS crashes you restart your machine and go about your life, when your browser crashes you restart your browser and go on with whatever you where doing, when your game crashes "ZOMG programerz sux! L2Code!"

    Most Fun PvP Tank

I have a valor 80 tank guardian - its tons of fun if you spec hybrid vig/def - you have great mobility, great utility. Decent burst damage. Very nice cooldowns. Combat animations are sweet too. I'm leveling a Powertech atm and its great fun too (haven't got it to 50 yet, lvl 30 atm, so I don't have that in depth knowledge) I lvled a Shadow tank to 30 but I dropped it - didn't like the playstyle. The resource mechanic and lack of mobility turned me off. Not saying its a bad class, its just not my cup of tea. Try them all out - the gameplay doesn't change (that) much after lvl 20 or so. If you don't like it by then you probably never will. Play what you enjoy - balance can change, the basic feel of a class wont.
  7. In PvE Guardians tanks are perceived to have the least DPS of all tanks and have problems with holding AoE threat (even though the issue was resolved). My current PvP spec I use it as a tank spec and occasionally change stances for some increased dmg output if the situation requires. I am very happy with how my character plays with that spec (most of the issues I found with pure Defense spec are gone). What i think the class is lacking atm is a base ability stun every single stun available to the guardian requires heavy specing into Defense tree. I think that pure Defense PvP tanks spec has some issue atm (which is why I play this hybrid build) I find that focus generation penalty placed on Soresu is hurting the class in PvP and the tools provided by the Defense tree to alleviate the issue aren't working well in PvP. We can't reliably count on being hit for long enough (and survive) to generate any meaningful amounts of focus which limits our dmg output sigificantly. I understand that tanks dmg output isn't supposed to be high it doesn't mean it should be this low either. The lack of focus generation in PvP scenario in Soresu also limits use of Focused Defense - cost is way to high (not a problem in Shien) and the benefits are limited (too low amount healed - compared to average hit received in PvP). Without damage resistance provided by specing high into Vigilance its just not worth it as it effectively brings our focus generation to 0. I think Focused Defense should have different effect based on lightsaber form used. Also the fact that Unremitting is unreachable in a 31pts Defense build is a nail in the coffin for that spec. My current PvE spec I haven't run into any problems with this spec - holding AoE threat is a lot easier now. Focus generation is fine. Survivability is fine. I don't know how does my dmg output compares to other tanks (didn't have time/chance to compare it).
  8. They are on your respective Capital Worlds not the fleet. They were there yesterday.
  9. It sucks being on that end of the stick doesn't it?
  10. The difficulty is not in coding the feature. It could be done in couple of hours (with testing and deployment) from developer point of view. The problem is in the art. For every single armor (with hood) in the game there would have to be a separate model with hood down and thats a whole lot of work for the art team. I'm not saying this is an excuse for the toggle to be in game (I think it should be there from launch). I'm just pointing out that if it wasn't there from the start it will take a while for them to get it in game.
  11. Only talented deep into tank tree.
  12. That's how the animation for that ability looks like. If this bugs you I can tell you that Slash is not the skill you will be using often at later levels.
  13. Not true. Every profession has something that is only usable by the crafter. For Biochem it the reusable medpacs, for Artiface its BoP Relics, for Synthweaving its exclusive artifact quality armor etc.
  14. I think both. It is really hard to keep agro on groups of mobs (pre-30 where we get AoE taunt). Since we get only one AoE dmg ability on 15sec CD (sic!) (30+ we get something kind-of-AoE) it can be hard. But on the other hand I hand no problems tanking pre-30 content. It requires some coordination -ie marking which mob to attack first, using some CC, asking DDs not to use AoE (because of the AoE agro issues mentioned). Picking up adds or stray mobs may be hard (especially when they're ranged), but it is doable.
  15. I'm leveling with defense spec. One suggestion is that non channeled stasis (you missed the talent) is really cool - extra cc and free focus. I also use combat focus before saber throw > force leap etc. That way I have more chance to pop it once again during the fight. Honestly I rarely use strike but I can't remove it from my skill bar. IMHO sundering strike should replace strike (through talent or something) at least for defense guardians.
