  1. Ty ty, cooperjf. Res cleared out HM MB and Cora last week, and tonight cleared HM CM, so all bosses have been cleared this tier. All we have left is Dragonslayer and Dread Master speed runs.
  2. Since our captain is being lazy, Resurrection of <Fortitude> finally cleared MM Brontes tonight, which brings us to 26/26 MM kills this tier! Video Proof (Heals POV)
  3. Apparently, yall don't want heals, so I'll remember to not heal you next time, kappa.
  4. Just because you play the game a lot doesn't mean you know what you're talking about (ie. someone who's played the game for 5 years, but has played nothing but story content, can't really comment on group content as they have no experience in the latter). You can't just look at pvp numbers. You have to take all aspects of the game into account, including dummy parses.
  5. Thank you, Keith, for the road map! I truly appreciate the effort you've been putting forth to stay in constant communication with the player base, even if what you say isn't always what we'd like to hear. The increased communication alone already feels like a vast improvement, and I'm always looking forward to see what you have to say. My thoughts on the current road map... Stuff I'm looking forward to: - The additional ops bosses. Operations are my favorite SWTOR activities, and the past ops content drought mostly depressed me. I'm so glad to get new PvE end game content to run, even if it's one boss at a time. Really looking forward to tackling Esne and Aivela. - Manaan Stronghold. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS, I've wanted a Manaan stronghold ever since Forged Alliance. IT'S ABOUT TIME! - Unassembled Components becoming Legacy currency. Bless you. Bless you, Keith. Maker be praised. *wipes away tears* Stuff that wasn't addressed, but I hope will be addressed in the near future: - The fact that MM/NiM ops drop mostly useless gear. Not trying to be a Negative Nancy here, but as a progression raider that runs MM operations on a weekly basis, it kinda feels like a slap in the face whenever we kill a boss and it drops a piece of gear for a class that isn't even in our group makeup. Or if the boss drops a blue 244 assembled piece. Those are like the equivalent of 242, and those you can easily get from VM operations. Most, if not all, MM raid teams would have run their group through VM ops to get them geared up before stepping foot into MMs, so what's the point of having the harder difficulty drop loot that's the lesser equivalent of gear you can easily obtain in an easier difficulty? MM ops are far more challenging, so you'd think they'd be far more rewarding than lower tiers. At the very least, I would think that guaranteed 246 drops would be the minimum. - MM Tyth. It was said that whenever a new boss would get released for Gods From the Machine, the previous boss would get their MM version released. You mentioned Esne and Aivela, but didn't say anything about MM Tyth. I'm hoping that this was just an oversight? I enjoyed VM Tyth a lot, so I'm very much looking forward to his MM iteration. As I said before, I'm a MM raider, so I get a little antsy (and maybe a tad panicy) when waiting on news concerning content of the highest difficulty. Other Thoughts: - I'm still waiting for my Torque skin for Bowdaar, complete with his wrench. - I don't care about the other companions, just gimme my Kira back. - How about a capture the flag style map for GSF? Again, thank you so much for all your efforts and communication. For the first time in a long while, I'm actually looking forward to seeing where the game goes.
  6. Republic 48/51 HM Progression, 15/26 NiM Progression <Fortitude> Resurrection Zanakusoku
  7. I can check and see. We're primarily a Republic guild, with imp alts in a sister guild (Imp side is not as active as Pub side). There's only one raid team running Imp side, and I'm not sure if they have open spots or not. I'll check though. That information is in the very first post of this thread.
  8. <Fortitude> is still recruiting! If you're looking for raiding opportunities, give us a try! We're still trying to form a new VM raid team, and possibly another MM raid team. Our SM raid team is also looking for new members as well.
  9. <Fortitude> now has a second, new NiM/MM raid team: Kessel Run DMC! Can't wait to see how far they progress!
  10. We are trying to get another Republic Veteran Mode team up and running! The roster is not finalized yet. We've got 8+ interested players, but not everyone's schedules are lining up, so technically, we need more bodies. So far, the most popular day is Sunday, with Friday at close second. Most likely will be running in the evening / at night (Eastern time). Days and times are not set in stone yet though. Keep in mind, this is a brand new team being built from scratch, not a pre-existing team that is trying to remake itself, or fill in holes. Depending on how fast we get enough folks with working schedules, the group may or may not be raid ready within a couple weeks. If that doesn't bother you, then feel free to put in an app on our guild site!
  11. Thanks for checking it out, guys. ^^ Always appreciate the comments. That's a very good point to make, and I'll probably add that in.
  12. There are many guides out there that teach you how to heal as a certain class, but I don't know of many guides that go into detail on how a healer should act in an end game PvE group setting. So, a couple years ago, I wrote one myself since I had guildies asking me for healing advice (I'm a healer, in case that wasn't obvious by now). I have since updated it a bit, and decided to post it here. I figured my guildies may not be the only ones looking for some kind of healing help. By no means am I saying that this is the best way to do things. This is just what I've learned from my own experiences. And I have a lot, as apparently, I am a masochist, and for the past five years have thoroughly enjoyed stressing myself out while trying to keep people with death wishes alive. Help me. Anyways, here's a link to the guide. I hope people find it useful. Healing 101
  13. Greetings, Jedi Covenant! Finally, after two long and grueling years, we have a new operation inbound! I'm really excited, as are a lot of other raiders I know. With the launch of the first operation boss being a couple months out, I'm here to extend an invitation to all raiders, new and experienced, to come and join our ranks in <Fortitude>! <Fortitude> is one of Jedi Covenant's established raiding guilds on the Republic side. Our members come in all different skill levels. From beginners who are completely new to raiding, getting their feet wet in SM ops, to top tier NiM/Master raiders who love to challenge themselves in the hardest content available. <Fortitude> is also committed to the improvement of the raiding community on our server. Our experienced raiders are always willing to share their knowledge to those who are looking to improve their game. They also work closely with our beginners, giving constructive criticism, teaching them proper execution of mechanics, and guiding them in playing their chosen discipline as optimally as they can. Currently, <Fortitude> has six raid teams: - Resurrection: NiM/MM Progression - Kessel Run DMC: NiM/MM Progression - Never Tell Us The Odds: HM/VM Progression - Red Squad: HM/VM Progression - Domino Squad: Beginner/SM Learning Group - Dogs of War (Imperial sister guild): Casual HM/VM Group We would love to get more raid teams started to give people more in-guild raiding opportunities as well. If we sound like the kind of guild you’re looking for, you can put in an application on our guild website: http://fortitudeguild.enjin.com. Feel free to post here, or contact me via DM or in game if you have any questions or need more information. Thank you for taking the time to read this. May the Force be with you! Lorhin GM of <Fortitude>
  14. *waits with Yam for her invite as well* feelsbadman
  15. I 100% agree with everything the OP said. My guild had 7 raid teams at one point in time, but many of the members of said teams have since quit the game due to lack of new operations and the gearing changes brought with 5.0. Now, my guild is down to 4 raid teams, and 3 of the 4 teams have been having attrition problems for a very long time now. Not being able to gear up potential replacements quickly and consistently certainly doesn't help make filling open positions any easier. Let's also not forget my raiding/pvping friends who, for financial reasons, used to play this game as Preferred players. Since they can't even run operations or get gear unless they subscribe now, they have sadly moved on to other games as well. 5.0 has been a very depressing expansion with my friends dropping from the game left and right.
  16. Tired of wandering the galaxy with nothing to do? Goonies is looking for a healer or a tank for HM progression! We are a fun group that likes to give each other crap. We have cleared most of the content in game with other groups. Most of us are lacking HM Revan, Master & Blaster, and Coratanni. As a individuals we have a lot of experience in raiding and as a group we are just hitting our stride. Goonies is a group focused on clearing the HM content so we can move into NiM content. We raid Fridays from 8CDT to 11 CDT and Sundays 8CDT to 10CDT. Only requirements that we have is the toon you are raiding on be in <Fortitude> on Jedi Covenant. Be on time and if RL life comes up just let us know if you're not going to make it. If you are interested in this position, reply here, DM me, or contact me on one of my toons (names in my sig). Also, feel free to contact toon Davemurray (team captain) directly. Thanks, and may the force be with you!
  17. 4m is the max range for melee attacks.
  18. Fort and DoW are still here. I'm one of the Council Members. What can I do for you?
  19. So what about the classes that spec both tank/heals and dps? Are they going to have to respec to get the correct gear for their discipline? Or are healers going to get random accuracy pieces out of their crates?
  20. One of our other raid teams, Honey Badgers, is looking for a NiM-capable Healer, preferably a 'tech healer' (Commando or Scoundrel).
  21. We've had two raid teams (one HM progression, one NiM progression) join us the past week! We're really glad to have them, and they seem to be settling in well. We also have some openings on a handful or our raid teams, so if anyone is interested, do let me know. Goonies (HM progression, Fri/Sun): 1 Tank Strange Conglomerations (HM/NiM progress, Tues/Sun): 2 DPS+1 Healer -OR- 3 DPS Dogs of War (Casual HM Imp Side, Sat): 2 DPS (at least 1 rDPS)
