  1. Most people used the free transfer off the low population servers, including guilds in general. Ours moved as a whole and even our guild was restored with bank intact by Bioware after the move, all 5 tabs, even. But if you're still on the server people left, then yeah...it's gonna seem pretty dead.
  2. First off, I should ask if anyone knows if setting two of your characters to "spouse" effects them. That is to say, if I set two of my toons up to be married, would they still be allowed to pursue a companion and marry them as well? I was just curious if the game lets you or not, but I was afraid to try it myself. Or vice-versa for anyone who has completed both companion marriages, will the Legacy system not allow them to list as "Spouse" if we chose to pursue a character romance with our companion? And last, I wanted to see what everyone planned to do. Do you have characters you plan to make family through legacy or do you plan to stick to their companions? -- For me, I made it extra complicated, because I based a couple of my in-game characters off something I had created previous to the game, and those characters are based kinda directly off my wife and I. But my wife, the same as I, whole-heartily embraced having that character having a relationship with their companion, so we weren't thinking that thoroughly ahead of time while leveling her. We don't personally think we'd split the two up from their companions, but I'm just curious what other people's thought are for their own plans regarding this issue.
  3. This thread is completely accurate. This system is the worst I've seen in any MMO. If it never changed, it'd probably be enough for me to quit over if everything else wasn't stellar, because trading is one of the big things I enjoyed doing to make money in MMOs. All of the things posted, plus the fact that your deposit isn't based on the item's lvl, but how much you post it for really hurts the idea of an economy. Not to mention if you accidentally add a couple numbers by accident when posting, you could post an item for an insane amount of money...and unlike other MMOs, it wouldn't be a "Oh darn, I better relist that", it would be a "NO! I JUST DEPOSITED SEVERAL MILLION CREDITS THAT I CAN'T GET BACK!" Please...just fix the GTN.
  4. Completely agree with this thread. The GTN is so bad I never want to open it unless I REALLY need something. And I was a pro at usuing Auction Houses in other games. This system is one of the biggest things that needs to change. At the very least remove the NEED to have a category first. Horrid design that I can't look up what an item I'm trying to sell is going for directly.
