  1. I have over 400 expertise and without stims/buffs, my max crit on Shoot First is 4.5k on people without expertise. Also, without buffs, Backblast crits for 2.5k. The problem here isn't really Operative/Scoundrel burst, it's that with stacked buffs they're getting crazy damage bonuses.

I've also been utterly destroyed by Marauders/Assassins that were stacking buffs like the Ops/Scoundrels in the videos being posted. The other night, I jumped a marauder in huttball, took about 1/4th of his life off with Shoot First, he broke the CC and turned around and killed me within 5 seconds. I don't think marauders need to be nerfed because he did that. I think buff stacking needs to be looked at.

The major part of their damage does NOT come from the buff stacking, it comes from their flatt damage and gear. Even if they would limit buffs to only 1 active, scoundrel/Ops would still be able to crit just as high (since you choose either crit/surge or Power or Alacrity as Adrenal buff and only one of those, not all- 3 min cd) If you use the Power Relic and Power adrenal you get about +176 damage, thats NOT loads or +damage...thats not even gamebreaking....

Dunno why anyone would say that the buffstacking is the gamebreaker, even without them they still have the potential to do the same damage (except for the +176 damage from power stacking buff)

And just for clarification; +1 damage, is +1 damage on any ability, not more(except for channeled abilities with multiple ticks or dots that hits several times where the damage is split to be for the whole duration.). Tested in-game. same for +bonus healing.

  2. lol you met some bad BH, they can burst someone down in3-4 like any scoud/ops if they trinket up and use bio chem like us..

almost any DD can, scoundrels just get that extra stun so he cant counter aswell.

Your comments does not match the current state of PvP in Warzones, show some Youtube of 50 vs. 50 of a BH doing the same damage as Scoundrel before you try to raise your "Dont nerf SCoundrel" flag.

Or any prof at all would suffice, but i guess there isnt any, since BH's do not burst you down in seconds.

  3. They are not better than the daily commendation implant/ear, which you will be able to buy from 5 days of doing daily's.

Im sure better than those drops from Schematics in Operations, but atm most schematics that drops in Operations arent usable, just gives you a "Invalid SChematic" msg when you try to use them ^^, happend so far with Cybertech schematics and Biochem schematics that my guild has from EV.

  4. I like this comment.

Any class played properly all of a sudden makes then Overpowered.

I've only noticed that Sorcerers deal a lot of dmg and have that annoying heal, but that's how they are made :D

In what way are Sorcerers dealing "a lot of damage" ? you must be thinkng of SUSTAINED damage, not burst, since the only "Burst" sorcerers has, is when we proc Chain lightning from force lignthing, and that combo is maby 4-5k if you take the full duration of Force lightning, so what is "a lot of damage" ?

Scoundrels might not be able to do sustained damage, but they do kill anyone they target in my experience. Not like they build up their damage over time, they do it in a few gcd's

  5. Oh, bull. It's got a few issues, as most new MMOs do, and most of them are minor. In fact, it's got less problems than most MMOs have at launch.

I really don't get the motivation behind trolling like this, and I certainly don't understand how someone could imply Blizzard's launch was cleaner. It was far from it.

You say its only a "few", but there are truckloads of bugs and random errors, every day either me or my guildmates encounters problems that hinders the gameplay for us.

And one of the most annoying bugs, is the Operation bugs, where you have to change leaders and waste time to try and re-enter the ****.

It's not just a "few" bugs, its a freakin river of them, and its overflowing soon unless they fix most (and A LOT of the bugs were reported in the alpha and beta testing phase, and they still did not do anything about it, best example would be Taris, didnt fix it untill after thousands of players were stuck on the crappy as **** hellhole of a planet)

  6. I will use my 30-days, when they are over i will re-evaluate the game, but atm i would not pay for a month due to:

    1. Many buggs that disrupts the gaming experience even at lvl50

    2. Crafting professions are not balanced betwen eachother

    3. PvP is Unbalanced (i know they said they wouldent strive towards balance, but this is rediculus)

    4. PvP gear can be used for Nightmare mode Operations just as well as PvE gear, which is rediculus imo.

  7. Not to the mention the fact that running ship missions at 50 is a waste of time other than to credit farm if you really want to.

I do the daily every day, nets me 13k credits for that one mission, what i do think is broken is that; even if you finish all of the "bonus" objectives, the reward does not change.

So all you need to do, is to finish the main objective and you have the same reward as if you would do 2-3 bonus objectives O_o.

Anyway, ofc not everyone thinks like i do, but a lot of players do, they rather spend their credits elsewhere if they dont se an actually benefit from buying a certain item (and the "benefit" is questionable for the ship parts as it doesnt reduce the time you spend on the mission since its a set timer)

  8. OP actually has a good point, even if you dont want the whole PVP set to PVE with, you can just PvP untill you get all of the good mods in the PVP sets, not like you need to hold on to them once you take out the good stuff :)

An example would be the Inquisitor PvP glvoes, crit+surge mod, one of the best crit+surge mod there is, may very well be the best crit+surge mod out there, havent seen a bette one yet.

And yes, i PvP to get more of the mods i need in PvE.

  9. B) LOL are you serious? Its ok we cant make a profit off mods because we can sell ship components. whoopity do!

That requires players to actually value it more than any other item from GTN, i have bought everything atm and got nothing else to use my credits on (got all daily mods, so whywaste it on lesser ones O_o) and i will not buy any ship parts untill BW releases harder Flight Missions, cause buying any ship part now, is just a waste of Credits imo.

Buying the ship parts only makes it easier, and its already **** easy :)

  10. They could easily fix slicing...

    How?

1st is overall crew skill redesign that you can only get to 200 until you are lvl 30 and to 300 until lvl 40... then after 40 you can be up to 400.

    2nd thing.

Scale down money income but not overall but based on affection.... let 10k affection with someone bring in roughly the same as pre-nerf (or slightly less... maybe 10-20% nerf) so average mission of rich yield costs 2000 and brings on average 3500 back +/- 500+ *crits* that double it.

    3rd thing.

    FIX AH

then slicing would be fine... but no the easiest thing is to reduce some numbers and **** it up... gg BW!

There will always be ways to overcome the lack of things, but the "fix" you describe just wouldent do anything more than making most of the players pick up Slicing after they grind the affection of companions to 10.000/10.000, its not like it costs you loads of credits or anything else to give companion gifts.

All you would need to get a decent fast way to exploit the suggestion you made, is to get 10000 and thats it.

  11. From my experience, S.I can be useful regardless of how you build. The build you posted is a pretty common build, yes. But do you want to build the same as everyone else?

"As everyone else", ofc he doesnt, dude, make another build where you nerf your own ability in-game, to have your own diverse build, ok?

    Makes much sense?

  12. Eh, are you looking for specific stats of the artifice items, or just info on what slots artificers can make?

Atm Artificers can NOT make the slot "MOD" it is as you said, a bug.

I can not check it myself, since, i dropped my Artificing to pick up the OP Biochem and am currently loving the permanent OP stuff :p

  13. I only run Hardmodes with my guild now, anyone ninjaloots anything, they get kicked asap.

I guess i just dont trust random players, and i rather spend my time with players i know(well as good as you can know a voice from Vent/TS3 anyway) and i never have any ninjaloot drama anymore, which is incredibly nice.

I do not agree that it needs a fix, it is the players that would need a "fix", since their common sense differs from yours , which means that they were raised to not give a **** about anyone other than themselfs(tho im no pshycologist, just my own oppinion :)

  14. Something that i see as a problem with the flashpoint is that: The Trash mobs have no diversity at all, theres nothing you have to really look out for, 1 too many mobs? ok, cc'd. Bye, dead. Ofc they shouldent be bosses, but atlest make them immune to cc so taht not just everyone can cruise through them.

It is majorly boring to slam your way through multiple trash pulls for 40+ mins, it is super boring, and after 7 years of WoW i am not as forgiving as i was when i was doing it for my first few years.

Thankfully the best PvE gear comes from Daily Commendations, so no need to run useless hardmodes :D

  15. The "best" sellers, would probably be, OFfhand generators/shields/focus and Epic colour crystals.

Everything else players can get from the daily commendations, and not just get it, they are even better than the epic version that you as an Artificer can make.

I have sold a lot of Superior quality epic Offhand focus, they are AWESOME, and they are better than the Tionnese stuff. (the Hardmode items you get and can buy stuff with)

And dont forget, on rare occasions you can proc a "Mastercraft" on any recipe, and that will add an "Augment" slot on the item, currently i am wearing my epic offhand with a augment slot on it, and the only offhand that is better, is the T3 one.

Oh well, after i used up all my materials i switched to Biochem, and now i am having a blast with with reusable items that will never disapear :D

  16. A raider doesn't need credit income, this is what twinks are for.

Biochem is the only really useful raid profession there is, which is a shame.

The reusable health/flask/extra "trinket" stim, is just a total powerhouse.

All too true. No other Profession provides such great perks.

And Arguing that you can sell Ship stuff is just funny, only players that want to powerhouse through the Flight missions will buy the tech made ship parts, i sure as hell will not pay for a single ship part untill BW releases a fly-mission that requires better stuff, i always survive any flight mission, sow hats the point in wasting my credits on stuff taht wont improve anything? its not like the flight mission timer will change, you always have to run the flight mission for the full duration.

  17. lol. You get EIGHT character slots. There are SIX crew skill professions.

And here you are WHINGING? Get off your butt and level a Biochem character. Get off your butt and level a Cybernetics crafter. Problem solved.

Oh please. A 90-second cool-down is a 90-second cool down. The only thing a reusable med-pack does is to keep you from spending all your time gathering.

Unlike those poor Armormechs who have to make new armor after every fight. Oh, wait, they don't? NERF THEM!

Unlike those poor Artificers who have to make new crystals after every fight. Oh, wait, they don't. NERF THEM!

    And so on...

That would be an argument IF Artificers made the best ones, they dont....

You get the best stuff from the daily commendation mod vendor, costs 8 daily commendations to get the 23 mods, and Artificers can only make up to 22 :)

Might drop better schematics in Operations, but after a full clear of EV i have yet to see a single Artifice schematic, saw a cybertech tho, didnt bother to check the stats.

  18. So you want to take out a major reason why someone would take these crew skills? This is ironic because a lot of people are crying over crew skills being UP and some people are crying that it's OP. That just goes to show that it's actually quite balanced.

How can it be "balanced" when only 2 out of the Crafting professions are good at 50? the others have NOTHING to offer that anyone would not replace with DAILY REWARDS (yes rewards from the daily quests are better than the best crafted items from professions, good luck trying to make something"usefull".....)

I guess i shouldent complain tho since i dropped Artifice and got Biochem, and im loving the permanent epic quality buffs/stims/medpacks that doesnt disapear on use.

  19. I am lvl 46 in game but I am 400 in all of my skills.

I just want to make sure I am right in this thinking.

The highest I can make is enhancement 24's but I can only buy up to 22 off the trainer?

When I turn lvl 50 will i gain access to the enhancement 23' , 24's? I have to rely on drops for the 24's? (lol)

It seems I am a fool for not going biochem stimulant maker because their end game persistant stim packs are too damn good to pass up right? So once I make a bunch of money i should switch to biochem correct?

"bunch of money" ? with artifice? haha good luck, you will only be able to make money from Artifice, if you are among the few that gets a Superior Epic item reversed that ppl actually want.(not a whole lot that anyone WOULD want, since you get better mods from the dailys, rediculus imo)

  20. At 50, as PvE Healing I'll be going Willpower -> Power -> Crit/Surge

    Why?

I'd rather have steady big heals then spikey crits that I cant predict. Will help better manage my Force consumption and in general form past healing experience i find its the way that is more comfortable for me as a healer.

You say you want big and steady heals, yet you only get:

+1 healing bonus every 5.8 power.

on average stuff has 50-60 power on them, so lets say you get 10 healing per item, i would say that you can increase your healing by +100 bonus healing with power.

I do not se how that would be any "big" and "steady" healing, i go for Crit rating and surge, since, it will give me more healing, and in Operations i sit at 41% crit atm, and 85% surge rating.(Buffed)

  21. Even if you don't like the game.. you have to admit that is big ground breaker for the mmo industry...

    Not everyone thinks that way.

I certainly do not think it would be interesting to listen to every single qust, that has 0 meaning on the world i was on, i skiped about 80% or all voiceover, why? becuase it had 0 impact, and it was also quite stupid and boring stories.

  22. I have to go steal the power of more ghost before I can fight my antagonist. Not kidding, that's my class storyline. Sometimes I suspect I'm actually playing a Ghost busters MMO.

You will be disapointed even further with the Inquisitor class story, it is a rediculus story.
