Wrong they are not trained to be sith, there is only two siths, Palpatine and Vader. The ones that are trained aren't showed the sith arts or anything about the sith they are just taught certain dark side power, so they are mostly dark jedis or used as assassins/agents like Mara Jade. Oh nah I've dealt with some people roleplaying arrogant jedis that didn't play any empire characters. I couldn't tell the difference between their jedi and sith characters though, so I assume it was people that weren't really knowledgeable in how Jedis usually act. Specially certain spammers before the game was out, attacking sith characters in their profile comments.. eventually turning into insults.

To be honest, the jedis in the Bounty Hunter story were more believable than the ones in the sith warrior one. Even among jedis there will always be arrogant ones, even roleplayers tend to roleplay an arrogant Jedi.

Six Jedis that were arrogant and overconfident in their abilities, so much so that they underestimated the Bounty Hunter. Their deaths are justified by their arrogance lol which would make their deaths quite canon if they planned on writing a novel about the Bounty Hunter.

They are sort of canon but mostly like this: One nameless sith warrior, one nameless sith inquisitor, one nameless imperial agent, one nameless Bounty Hunter, one nameless jedi knight, one nameless jedi consular, one nameless smuggler, one nameless Trooper.

All my characters were Chiss in Sanctum haha, transferred a few of them to Ebon Hawk...a Chiss Scoundrel.... finally now I can play a scoundrel with class, Chiss fit that class perfectly.

Cathar have been part of star wars though, established in the comics before the KOTOR game...so why would they need to take off the star wars name...cathar aren't really a laughing stock.. if you don't like them just don't use them lol.

Of course and after that you have to play your character without limbs or your character is automatically deleted and you have to create a new character, if you die again same scenario, there is certain things you can't do in an MMO, and that's pretty much that, if lightsaber would kill in one hit, swtor would lose a lot of subscribers.

A grey Jedi doesn't really use dark side, like their Dark Jedi counterpart. In Kotor it was foolish to give dark side powers to Jolee, his force would deplete rapidly. Qui Gon was also considered to be a grey jedi, no idea if he used dark side powers in novels or comics featuring him.

Of course, it is an mmo after all, if they wanted to make it completely canon in a novel, they wouldn't mention credits for the Jedis nor the trooper and sith. For the operations it would of been mini alliances between the empire and the republic, Bounty Hunter and Smuggler would of course ask for credits. Oh and technically the Jedi's gear would come from the council pretty much, they can't send their Jedi on missions naked after all, nor would they completely upgrade their gears. Troopers gear would come from the republic, the only classes that would really waste credits on gear in canon sense would be the Bounty Hunter, the Smuggler and even the Imperial Agent. But yeah it is an mmo so you have to give credits for a lot of things, otherwise if everything was free, game would end up boring, or if it took you weeks to learn a new move, it would also be boring.

Man I think my eyes were bad when I watched the vid but didn't see any mention of the Cathar being playable in that vid, ah well, if they are playable it's cool... just hope there is no cybering with it in roleplay server... oh god..... Though is it confirmed that we will have to buy the expansion or will it be an update..cause one planet for an expansion wouldn't really be enough. Still don't like the tier armors, I think they should fire the people working on the design of those armors and find people that can actually make armors that are more star wars in appearance.. It's a good thing that Cathars will be playable, I assume they might end up as a republic race first.

Mako - Pretty much the only Companion a Bounty Hunter needs, that and I pretty much liked her character. Blizz - Comedy relief pretty much. Gault - Scammer the conversations with him were pretty fun Torian Cadera - Honor and all that, like a true Mandalorian Vette - The conversations are fun and she seems more realistic than the other companions at least for me. Khem Val - He wants to eat you, but even for a dark creature he is pretty much a loyal beast and cannon fodder Akaavi Sparr - A Female mandalorian ******, I love women who can put up a fight and be fearsome and not the "Oh please save meh" attitude.

I'd recommend the Darth Bane novels, Republic Commandos and huh the Darth Plagueis novel.

I can see the Smuggler outliving the other classes, since they prefer staying alive an Agent also might live longer. A bounty hunter will eventually meet his match (specially with the class story) Bounty Hunter will always be ready for battles and probably die in a battle, just like the Trooper.
