  1. You can. You can even buy it directly from this site and in-game. The Deluxe version of the game included five in-game items as well as VIP access to the area above the cantina on the fleet. You can purchase the five items directly for $5.00 (US) here: https://www.swtor.com/buy Then, you can purchase the VIP access for 1 million credits on the fleet. Once you do both of those things, you'll have the "Deluxe" version.
  2. IIRC (and that's iffy), there is a vendor in the Bazaar section of the fleet that sells these for those that were only available for a single faction.
  3. It may not be your gear. These HEROIC 4 missions (Seeker Droid and Macrobinoculars) were designed for multiple people and haven't really changed. I have been able to duo the Seeker Droid one, but that's it. I suppose it's *possible* to run it solo, but would be a challenge. The Macrobinoculars *must* be completed by a full group of four. It is impossible to complete otherwise. Also, I have not run these since 6.0 dropped, so no idea how level sync has affected these.
  4. I do the same. On all other planets I try to stick to a grid as much as possible. For Coruscant, I'm weird in that I start in the middle, on the walkway, and go in the circle (using the seven footfalls method). I suppose it's technically some many sided polygon, because I do run in a straight line each time. I just turn slightly after each search. I then search the inner circle, then move to the outer.
  5. Pirate Incursion (while not in this month's rotation), is still relatively new...
  6. Quaker has all good advice. If I understand your question correctly, yes, a DPS based set of gear should work just fine for any other DPS based class. If you're trying to min/max and get really detailed, perhaps that wouldn't be true. But for the average player it should work out great. So you can swap that set around while you build up enough "extra" to start outfitting your other toons as Quaker states above. This same principle should apply to healers and tanks as well. (One caveat: As a tank, I find that, for example, a JK/SW tank uses slightly different stat priorities than a JC/SI; irrespective of min/maxing. So there might be a bit of wiggle room there.)
  7. The one place the comparison to slot machine breaks down is that with a slot machine, they are designed to hit a jackpot, at some point. There are regulations in place to ensure that it *does* happen; it's just extremely rare. If what SWTOR has now is a *true* RNG, then it's possible, however remote, to *never* get what you want. With a slot machine, the desired outcome is predictable (a jackpot). With, for example, amplifiers, the game doesn't know what you want. There is no expected outcome. True, the more you try, the more the likelihood of getting what you want; but each try has the same chances of giving what you are looking for. (Which is vastly smaller than the chance of something you don't.) A true RNG means that you could get the same result five times in a row. (On a somewhat related note: iTunes had to add programming into their "random" algorithm to make it feel more random. They had to make it less random than it was because in a true random pick, it is possible to play the same song twice in a row, or play the next song in an album. With that, listeners felt like it was *not* being random, so Apple had to program around this.)
  8. Close, but not quite. That is, if you care about strict order. Black Hole and Section X would come between Ilum and Makeb, etc. Check this link for a detailed map of all content through Jedi Under Seige (which takes place primarily on Ossus). There are still some slight errors in this graphic. (For instance, Ziost was not technically part of the SoR expansion; but was part of an addition called Rise of the Emperor. I'd say it is more akin to Jedi Under Seige and was a prelude to KotFE.) But none of these errors are with order progression. https://gamepedia.cursecdn.com/swtor_gamepedia/e/ed/Alortaniastoryprogress.png?version=00e48b595933732950cec8806de3614b
  9. You can only open them on the character that claimed them...
  10. You do not. In fact, you do not even have to complete any required content other than through your faction's home planet (Coruscant or Dromund Kaas). (Don't even have to do that if you use the token to boost to 70 immediately.) Once you have your ship, you are free to head to Dantooine and take part in the event. Canonically, it is technically supposed to fall after Jedi Under Seige; but can be done at any time.
  11. Is this, perhaps, when viewing the Chapter list? If I am not mistaken, that visually tracks your legacy progress in Story, Veteran, and Master modes with the bronze, silver, and gold circles. So even on a character that has never done those, if another character in your legacy has, then all of the bronze circles will be populated. You can still run them normally and your choices on your first run on that character will stick for that character. Might make it slightly harder to track, but as long as you do not cancel any missions in your mission log, you shouldn't have a problem.
  12. I did a bit of Google searching on this, and found a Reddit thread where others had a similar bug and had to open a CS ticket to get them to fix it. Could be your problem, but dunno.
  13. Steve, admit it, you have this response in a text document that you copy/paste, don't you? I think I've read this about five times now, lol.
  14. Check out this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=564058 Not at home to check, but I think you have to first purchase the legacy unlock. Then, for each character, you have to purchase it on the character perk/unlock screen. So two transactions there. Once for legacy, then once each for each character. Also, as the thread states, make sure you don't buy the other faction's version.
  15. One thing to note here. At launch, the companion class missions were tied to the companion's affection (now "influence") level. At some point (I'm sure Steve or someone can pinpoint when), they were changed to "coincide" with your own class story missions. So when they are encountered now was not part of the original design. I suspect many, like me, primarily used one or two companions based on their roles, or personal preference. That left the others lagging. In most cases, we didn't complete all the companion stories until long after our class story had been completed. There likely would have been none of the bouncing back and forth to Nar Shaddaa, as that part of that particular companion mission would have been at a different time for everyone. Just another case of changes not being seamless.
  16. Odd. I only started noticing this post 6.0 myself...
  17. I've played (off and on) since launch. I have primarily just had a single main, and dabbled in other classes. In the last couple of years, I decided to establish another "main" in the opposite faction. Since then I have completed all story content on another character, and am well on my way on a fourth. Plenty of other characters, but like JQ, it was mainly for Legendary/Legacy purposes.
  18. Once your subscription ends, you will be moved to Preferred status, rather than Free-to-Play; which has slightly less restrictions than the other. If you have never purchased any perks from the Cartel market (and you wouldn't have needed to, since you get access to "everything" with a subscription), then you will have some limitations. The list can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/wiki/f2p Things to think about: You'll have a credit cap, the rest will go into an "escrow" account. You'll likely lose access to artifact level equipment (I think if you have it equipped, you're okay, but as soon as you unequip it, you can't re-equip it). You'll lose one of your crew skills, etc. There's a nice chart at the link above.
  19. Once you are level 75, you will be able to deconstruct all gear with a minimum iRating of 268. You will still be able to deconstruct lower rated gear, but only those that align with your current crew skill and level. Prior to being lvl 75, you will only be able to deconstruct gear with a item rating of less than 268; and only that gear which aligns with your current crew skill and level.
  20. I have to agree. I was especially noticing this on the Champion mobs for the [HEROIC 4] of the Rakghoul event. I first noticed, in general that it takes me easily three times longer than it did pre-6.0 to kill them solo. Survivability is just fine, in fact, I lose less life than before; but killing them takes SO long. But the other thing I noticed was the Heroic abilities. When I pop them, I usually just select them all in succession (unless there's a boss mechanic that requires me to be a bit more strategic). This means that when I'm using these abilities, I'm *not* using any of my class abilities. Pre 6.0, this short span of time using the Heroic abilities would result in a burst of damage, greater than an equal time span using class abilities. This is no longer true. The Heroic abilities now reduce my dps output than if I ignored them and just stuck with my class abilities. Class ability attacks now do more damage. Other than the healing buff it gives you, it's kind of useless now...
  21. I had that exact same thing happen to me, as well. This is clearly a bug that, if repeatable, could be hugely exploitable; as the bosses still drop the proper irated gear you'd expect. For that reason, I will *not* share the steps I look leading up to running this FP.
  22. You may wish to contact EA Customer Support directly, rather than relying on an in-game ticket. I don't have the contact information, but I know the numbers were recently posted on a thread...
  23. The behavior for me, upon repeated attempts: The non-invincible buffed mobs aggro each other. One kills the other and the surviving one is nearly dead, and can be dispatched easily. The invincible one aggros the friendly. However, once I kill the second one, leaving only invincible left, all clickies immediately become unusable. They stop glowing and are no longer clickable, leaving the quest impossible to finish. I've repeated this behavior about five times. I should note that I too, like Estelindis, sided with Harido Wald; so I don't know if this bug is restricted to that?
  24. So...yes and no. You will temporarily lose access to your crew. In most cases, they will all be returned to you through the course of the story (up through and including Onslaught). There are a couple that haven't come back yet; most notably for the Jedi Consular. However, at a certain point in KotFE, you will have access to a terminal that will allow you to summon them back anyway, if you wish. They will *not* be back from a story perspective, but will be usable to you.
