  1. IAD, huh? You've likely walked past racks/servers we've built.
  2. You can zoom in and out during character *creation.* But as far as I recall, the character *select* screen has always been as it is now.
  3. Well, this is a bit spoiler-ish since you haven't been to this part of the storyline, but the Knights of the Fallen Empire storyline changes things up quite a bit by way of companions. They temporarily take a...vacation. Most come back over the course of the story, but there are a handful that come back as part of the main storyline, and those come back for *everyone*. So every character has the ability to get Vette if they progress that far in the story.
  4. These vendors sell shells for one million credits and *3000* Tech Frags per piece. Kai's deals will have items that drop the Tech Frags to 1500 (or sometimes 2000), but the normal vendors are always 3000.
  5. It also appears as a small badge beside your floating character name. On the left. The right is reserved for your flair.
  6. I was curious if we have data on what the difference is between this "iRating Adjustment" and "Veteran's Edge." Is Vet's Edge only on group content (such as FPs and OPs), and the Adjustment for solo? And are the actual effects different between the two? One would assume. I think Vet's Edge caps out at 30, but I had an Adjustment rating of 59 in solo mode "A Traitor Among the Chiss" yesterday...

  8. You mean like what was discussed here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=967004& and here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=968968& and here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=948217& and here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=939661& Late to the party. Not that you, or anyone, would necessarily know until you encountered the bug yourself. But it is a very old bug...
  9. First thing to check is if you are on the correct server. There have been several server merges/movements in those seven years. If it defaulted you to a server where you have no characters, that could be it. Log out into the server select screen and see if you have some listed on another server. If you have zero characters on any of the servers, then I think you will likely be forced to contact Customer Service. They can look into attempting to restore them.
  10. Lol, I'm hearing Wheatly: "Okay, what you're doing there is jumping. Uh, you just jumped. But never mind; say apple. Apple!"
  11. This is significant. I'm inclined to think you're correct in this, as well. And if one is a crafter, it could leave them "mat-less" on the new server. So if you want any crafting materials, I would suggest moving materials out of materials storage and into the personal cargo bay.
  12. I believe what you saw on YouTube was likely a mashup. From what I recall, Imps get the actual Malgus cinematic. Pubs never see Malgus and get the Dantooine cinematic.
  13. Not sure if you're aware of this link: https://www.swtor.com/holonet/galactic-history May not be as in-depth as you were hoping for, but I've always found it interesting. These were released one-by-one during the months leading up to SWTOR's release. I loved them. Voiced by Lance Henrickson as Master Gnost Dural, they provide history to where we are now. Of further interest is that he works backwards in time from the sacking of Coruscant.
  14. Yep, I meant for the tech frags. (Definitely not for the Jawa junk.) But yes, if you've a glut of them, sure, sell away. Currently, I need every tech frag I can get.
  15. First, I would only bother keeping things that are 306. I would decon anything below that. (This is personal opinion.) Focus on the modifications that provide the highest value of tertiary stats (critical, accuracy, alacrity...). I focus on ones that give 431+. Others may have a different "lowest point" value in mind. And decon the rest (don't sell them!).
  16. Characters are losing approximately sixty percent of their health when leveling up. If this happens in the middle of combat, there is a significant risk of player death. Details/discussion can be found here: https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=976465
  17. Holy crap, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I experienced this for the first time last night while leveling a re-created Marauder. Almost died, but popped Unity to save myself. Definitely a glitch with 6.1a. Don't see a bug post on it, I'll create one.
  18. One way this can happen is if you gained an amount of those Conquest point prior to joining the guild. For example, presuming the guild had zero Conquest points to start and you were the only contributor for that guild. You gain 50,000 points while unguilded, then join the guild, then gain 100,000 points. Your personal total would show 150,000 while the guild would show 100,000.
  19. My (failing) memory believes I remember something else (other than the "deselect all" above) that can cause this. Do you perhaps have this skill in the first quickslot space? (The one you would typically depress "1" to activate?) If you do, try moving it elsewhere.
  20. Are you sure I don't have to play KOTOR2 to get the mission then import my save?
  21. Mine uses my absolute favorite Jedi's outfit: Jolee Bindo. I use the covert gloves to show my hands and Gav Daragon's belt. Dyed black/dark purple. I do have other outfits I've used from time to time. One is "traditional" based on the legacy set. It's basically what is used in the first swtor trailer. I have one of the light side sets from the fleet, one based on the triumvirate sets, and one mix and matched I put together. It has the Veda cloth legs with the Nathema Zealot chest. All dyed black/dark purple.
  22. I had assumed one was supposed to ride that myself. However when I tried, I accidentally kept running a bit after landing on it, and fell off. I expected to die, but instead landed on a catwalk below; was able to heal up; then continue on to get the datacron.
  23. I could be *completely* wrong here, but I *think* that this is the quest where you first have to click a panel that's under a partially open hatch on the floor near the turret. Look around on the platform for a partially raised floor tile.
  24. Thanks for the clarifications, Steve. I was at work so was attempting to answer from memory with a bit of Google help.
  25. Question 1: In the "Inspect Item" window for each armor piece/set, there is typically a note on where it came from. For example, Freedon Nadd's Armor Set has a note that states, "Found in the Mid Rim Explorer's Pack." Note that many of these Cartel Packs are no longer available, however, the armor has a (very small) chance to drop from the Ultimate Cartel pack. Question 2: When viewing the item in the Cartel Market, there should be an icon on the "BUY NOW" button. It looks like an electrical warning: a black exclamation point within a yellow triangle.
