  1. Fixed it 8)- Ajunta Pall or Jung Ma. I rolled on Jung Ma and I never regretted it.
  2. That would be easily avoided though. Just roll a toon on a pve server.
  3. Yeah! And, they'd have a skill that allows them to mimic faction as either imperial or rebel until they attack!
  4. Keep rebel, keep imperial, add mercenary!

    Update 1.3 revealed

HeroEngine cannot handle a million people on one server. Bioware would need to hire the Eve developers just to get the servers to 300K or so. "In stunning statistics revealed today at GDC, EVE Online developers CCP announced that the game currently has over 360,000 subscribers. Distributed Systems Architect Jacky Mallett explained that “we hit a new peak of online usage, 63,170 users online concurrently” on January 23. That’s 63,170 pilots sailing across the black in EVE’s online universe. We can support up to 1800 users in our most popular solar system,” explained Mallett, going on to say that 200 severs run together to create Eve’s universe. Each one of these severs is a behemoth in itself, being able to “host anything up to a hundred solar systems on a single server”. The most popular solar systems are hosted on dedicated, singular servers as to cope with the 1800 potential users."
  6. I agree with all of it. But, I want to add: Remove faction class restrictions. Give bonuses to abilities depending on light side, dark side and neutrality.
  7. In SWG, on Naritus, the rebels never outnumbered the imperials. The ratio was close to 3:1, imperial, most of the time I was there. For 95% of my time, I was rebel. The way SWG had world pvp set up, made it so that ratios weren't near as important as strategy. The imperials could never be everywhere to defend all of their planet controlling assets. Player placed bases determined planetary control. Terrain made it so that all of the bases couldn't be stacked together. The planets were large enough that bases could be placed in areas that were rarely travelled and the bases rarely discovered. Spys (intelligence) were important to discovering base locations. Players could switch faction and back again within a short time period. How and why were all these things missed on junior? Considering the faction imbalances that exist in every game with factions, there needs to be another, deeper way to determine a victor besides raw population.
  8. It doesn't surprise me. Do you have any healing in the dps spec? Those are the operatives I have a hard time dealing with. They lack the same burst potential of straight dps, but they stay in the fight long enough to whittle me down.
  9. We need more sand in the box.
  10. So, is what I've read about it true? The Hero Engine seems, on paper to be designed for large scale player activity.
  11. I don't see how that's possible. But, I'm no sharp shooter.

    Nerf the Shadow Tank

Seeing as you put it that way, there's only one thing to do ... nerf operatives.
  13. Earlier tonight I had a rage spec jug smash me (gunslinger) twice for around 6K in a one on one. Even though my highest hit was around 4K for the entire war zone, somehow I managed to beat him ... imagine that ... big numbers don't mean everything.

    Nerf the Shadow Tank

Instead of calling for a nerf on them, how about you call some other people in the war zone who know how to fight them? If you're on Jung Ma, in my war zone, I'll handle that shadow or assassin problem for you.
  15. Hey! It's not THAT broken ... maybe a little bit broken ... I do like playing GS more than the rest. Having a Wiley Coyote build makes it even more fun - But, really, wouldn't it be that any class we LIKE we can be very good at playing it? Even with it being ... slightly ... broken. It's a good thing that I never did care much for cover or hunker down.

    Warzone hackers

That's a bug. It's rare to happen, but it does happen. I've seen it twice since launch.
  17. Involved ... not envolved.
  18. How did you all not kill Berri? How and why did Swarna get kept at less than 100K damage? Was he sick? AFK? Xavory wasn't healing? Gorgolok wasn't there ... I could see losing to them, sure. But, something went terribly wrong for you guys to not at least kill Berri. I kill him with my guardian! Nevermind the Swarna thing. The guy I thought was Swarna (by name) has a BH icon.
  19. I think that in order for good world pvp, you first need to have a skill based development over a level based development. Otherwise, you'll just have people ganking lower level toons. So, first, what open world pvp is to me is skill based, then, attackable any where, any time, and the ability to change factions. I really can't figure out why skill based isn't bigger than level based. Level based is so limiting.

    Is this true?

The gear isn't generic, so you'll need the named set to trade for the named set - eliminator for eliminator or medic for medic. You can remove the mods and still trade up, though. All that matters is the set shell.
  21. Smuggler/Agent with XS Flyby or Orbital Strike. Without using relics or adrenals, I have them hit each person for 3700-3800 per tick, with 4 ticks. It can hit up to 5 people. Of course, that damage is over 12 seconds, but it is one activation. But, that ability is on a hard 45 (I believe) second cooldown. Either way, it's one ability with a possible 80K+ damage output.
  22. Good players learn from their failings and the failings of their team. They adapt, are better for their hard fought, far and few between victories. They stuck with it, because they wanted to see better days. They worked hard for their successes. To the contrary, in your case, you had it easy, early on. It tends to make people soft when they have it easy. There is more allowance for mistakes when the consequences aren't realized, other than another win. Losing, constantly, is unforgiving and refined techniques are developed that become habit. Learn to hate losing, unlearn to expect winning.
