  1. Ops/Scoundrels are supposed to be stealth and burst DPS classes. We are stealth but no Burst DPS class, not anymore. Thinking on how the classes could be improved without making us overpowered i figured some kind of bonus to dmg if target is not targetting us or some active skill. Quick Explanation: 1- If mob/player is not targetting us we should have some kind of bonus dmg, not much maybe 5 or 10%. Lets call its a passive skill called Surprise Flanking or something like that. The drawback is see on this is that is easily exploitable and the rivers of tears of other classes. 2- An active skill similar to the Shadows/Sins one where you taunt and if the mob is targetting other one than you he does 30% less dmg. Instead of that we could make it to improve our dmg for XX% if mob/player is not targetting us. Call it Anatomy Knowledge or something like that. Option 2 is an active skill that has cooldown and should last 6 to 10 secs max (10 secs is too much IMO). This would increase the dmg the pure stealth classes do (not shadow/sin since they are hybrids). As we have no sustained dmg i think an increase of the burst dmg is the solution, if its permanent people will cry, if its not class is underpowered compared to the rest. So the balance lies in the medium, increase of burst dmg but not always. Opinions please? If i see this is accepted by the fellow mirror class i will post it in the suggestion forum.
  2. Had an Operative lvl 40 in one server until my friend and me decided to reroll in a more populated server. We rolled republic cause my friend was bored of all the imperial maps until tattoine, due the creation of many imperials alts. I created a smuggler and he a Sent. Liked the smuggler but the story and feeling was not the same as Operative. Now we are getting the legacy unlocked to create an operative and marauder. I am pretty happy with the operative and he likes more the imperial armor (normal, devs were high on anything when creating the republic armors tbh) I dont care if the class is torn apart or FOTM. I really loved the story, the looks, the animations, everything... And things will get balanced sooner or later, and when that time arrives i will have enough mastery if the class to be even deadlier. Its a matter of playstyle, story, looks and attitude . If anyone thinking creating an operative is reading this looking for class feedback just focus on this: Imperial Agent has the best story hands down, one of the best looking classes, lots of utility. Currently due the class balance status it needs more mastery than others to get to the same level, but dont get discouraged.
  3. No. No feeling of grouping needed. Guilds are useless, no goal in having one. World does not feel alive (NPCs acting and such). PvP serious imbalances. Faction population imbalance. 3 WZs... only 3 same and same again. Not enough/thrilling social content (seriously, not some special suits and a speeder only) --> Here i mean a guild bank, guild hall, social meetings and such. Lack of customization options (no being able to redecorate the ship, paint speeders). Lack of open world pvp goal--> Conquer certain stations in a planet would grant the winning faction and increase in commendations, medals, tokens, better loot in FSP etc. Legacy system not working. No free respec after changing the top tier skills of skill trees... Would add Dynamic quests, some serious quests like they were in WAR or RIFT where you need a big group to repel an invasion or something like that.
  4. Me on the other side experienced an increase in Alderaan. Im almost finishing the planet and i saw 7 different people running thru the map, even republic faction. Don tknow if its due to the patch or the time frame. Ula VII server
  5. I know its not a game breaker and BW has more important things to fix, but i would like this idea to be at least given a chance for future patches. In other MMOs the secondary weapons are clearly visible, shields, offhand daggers, books, skulls and such. Take a look on WAR for example to see how the Warpriest goes with a mace and a book. Almost all classes have a secondary weapon slot used, being scaterguns, vibroknives, shield generators, force focus, whatever. Is there any chance to see them implemented in a future? Scoundrels/Operatives use more the secondary weapon than the primary one, for the shield generators and focus they could be displayed in the belt for example. To how would you implement that given the high number of threncoats and medium armor in the game, i am not english native and dont know how to look for this properly but found an image that could be useful Low back knife Scatterguns could go also there. It wont interfere with the threncoats and/or armors. And the other passive equipment like shields and focus could be displayed in the belt emitting a faint glow (focus) and shine when the shield generator procced. I repeat im not giving this a max priority, im well aware of the game status and the things that must be fixed and revised, but if the art department could have a look on this i would be more than satisfied. Just my 2 cents. And keep this out of trolling/flames please. The first thing i would like to see is Republic armor being given a look overhaul cause many of the end armors do not look good or at least eye candy. This matter is easily lookable, just get in any class forum and you will find posts about armor progression.
  6. There are some quests happening in that middle point from the elevator to the ship. SI --> Dark Skotia meeting IA --> Some Kaliyo conversations and an affection quest Im sure the rest of classes had something similar to those 2. Its called RP. Dont know why anyone has not petitioned to remove workstations since are useless except for RP, and its 1 object more in the world the game has to load.
  7. I agree with the instaport if characters who use it daily will have a Body Type 4 over time.
  8. Ive seen a Sith Sorc named Gandalf along with a sniper called Legolas... I suppose the guild is called "The Fellowship"
  9. Happens the same if you get followed by mobs and run away from them, they reset their location but why they get full regen? Once PvE mobs lose your aggro and if you are not in a group is the same as if noone was nearby so they reset to their initial position with full health. You will laugh loudly (and im sure the mob does as well) when you are in a fight, you get some kind of DoT, use Force Cloak, mob resets to full health and DoT breaks the stealth before u can get out of the aggro area and the mob crushes you instantly with full health. That is the closest feeling i have had compared to the first time i saw a Mortal Kombat fatality.
  10. Im, 31 fully Conc specced and didnt have any problem leveling. As posters above said I can solo Heroics +2 and some Heroics+4. I play on a PvP server and sincerely i never got ganked, tbh i havent met a republic player while leveling, neither in Tattooine or Alderaan so far, i wish i knew what i would do if i find one, maybe hug him or something like that... Anyway atm open pvp is useless since killing other players do not reward you with valor or anything. This will change in patch 1.1 At the moment i use Kaliyo since its the only companion i have, will get the second soon i hope. At start it may seem a bit strange to play completely melee, now that i mention since lvl 20 i havent used cover, but once you get used to the rotation u will be the 5th Apocalypsis Horseman (Burst DPS)
  11. I started as republic. Created 2 alts aside of my main. I sincerely tried but couldnt just by having a look on the end game armors for PvE and PvP. Jedi Knight --> Power Ranger Shadow --> Alcoholic bum and Power Ranger (bull helmet) Trooper is ok. Gunslinger --> Space Cowboy.... Also *** does a Jedi Shadow healing Jedi Masters? That fits completely with Sage but Shadow???? So rerolled as Imp in other server. The armors are pretty cool, the story is far better for all classes IMO. When the art department starts to recreate the Republic armors i might go back, until then no. Have u seen the craftable lvl 36 headgear for sage/shadow? Looks like Amidala... Imperials have better armor looks imo, republic is far behind that road.
  12. So far im loving the game. I have a toon lvl 40 and another one lvl 15. IMO i think this game lacks social content, not the social items, social interaction. I am member of a guild but its completely useless, i would like the idea of having your own apartment/ship that could be visited by friends and be moddable. When u get different titles or reach certain Light/Dark side levels, to have some kind of item to put in your ship. I havent seen any high end content but i plan to waste 1,5 million creds in buying the Fleet cantina VIP pass, i have some lvl 50s friends and they tell me that money comes in raids to you at that level, but they didnt know about this VIP pass. Guild halls could be good too, and wars between guilds could be interesting, same as arenas, no warzones but arenas. I loved when i was in Tatooine and entered a valley where it was free for all to attack and be attacked, even your same faction. The game is new, not a month old, and new content will come, legacy, more end content, expansions and such, but there will be always the people who get the new items/titles/content done before some other guy can download the content itself to play the game. Do you think Diablo 3 wont have max level players 72 hours after release???? I dont know about lvl40+ but till that moment I need the same time to level from 20 to 21 than 39 to 40. I dont rush the game, i play the conversations, do the bonus, heroics, area bonus missions and such. I remember 10 years ago in Anarchy Online when people could come to your appartment and all guildmates were there talking about the next moves or plans to control towers. A planet that can be conquered would add nice content. 1 republic side and 1 empire sith, middle zone can be conquered granting bonus to the guilds who participate in the war for the terrain. Could control some buildings and buy defenses to make it harder to the other faction. There are plenty of games out there that have nice features, its only a matter of time to look at them and implementing those ideas carefully, but first bug fixing is mandatory. I have asked to the 50s in my guild of they did any space quest, answer was no, they didnt even buy the lvl 1 ship equipment. When people overlooks the content available to them, there is no way to make things correctly. There is a wide array of people and their likes. Sorry for the wall of text, was not meant to be like this.

  14. You get 2 options: 1- Twilight vampire mode on. Notice they have orange eyes too. 2- Green skin like Yoda Seriously, the Jedi Council was not famous for the display of light and colors that went thru the windows and need of sunglasses if you wanted to look some Jedi directly to the eyes.

  16. Loving the game so far. Could enjoy with high res textures and better GTM, but so far i am having a blast with it.
  17. 2 weeks after realease. Xmas holidays in middle. Give them a break and time to fix things properly guys.
  18. I will continue here too. Lots of different storylines with different play styles. TOR was just released not even 20 days ago, xmas holidays in the middle too. Major problems have been identified and reported, now lets give em 1-3 months to fix most important things slowly, dont want broken patches like was AoC or RIFT.
  19. Currently by ctrol+left clicking an armor you can preview it in a window (low texture resolution one oneself but strangely high resolution texture when preview it using the companion model). Would be interesting to have also the possibility to change the preview stance to the combat stance in order to preview the different weapons. Orange weapons or purple ones are not cheap and could be interesting to know how they look before purchasing one. And fix the armor preview window resolution problem please!!!
