  1. You can be different classes. Owner of the instance has to enter first. Enable that option though.
  2. In Preferences>Social>... populate where it says "Allow access to same class story area". *edit So that you know... you will have to do the story twice though for each to complete... so each of you can pick your conversations and make your own story choices. The other will be in spectator mode. You can help each other kill mobs in the instance.
  3. Once you sign up for a subscription with a valid credit card your 30 day free time will begin. Then next billing cycle you will be charged the subscription fee for that period. I subscribed and they charged me $1. (test to make sure it's a valid card I guess.) Just letting you know all know... I hope you at least have $1 in your account. O_O You do not get charged $15 when signing up for the subscription at this time.
  4. That's my favorite too! It looks awesome is all I'll say!
  5. It really must be something else on your end. Your hard drive isn't getting sluggish is it? Your power supply isn't dying is it? Is your card over heating? I'm just throwing things out there. I haven't had any kind of lag/latency, stuttering or any issues really.
  6. Whatever your queue time was when you hit connect is probably the same or around there. The minutes going up that you're watching are for other people who just joined the queue at that moment... At least that's how it worked for me. Whatever you do... don't click the x on that little queue window that shows your position or you'll have to rejoin the queue. That part is a little unclear... at first I thought it was just telling me my place in the queue and to exit that window... don't exit it!
  7. There is already an auto-afk logout timer. It's a little buggy though. For instance, you can be ATK crafting, but the system doesn't recognize you're clicking crafting-companion screens and will flag you as AFK. Sometimes it will log you out without warning... other times you may get a logout warning. Once logged out to character select screen you might be able to log back in right away... other times not so lucky and they put you into a queue right away. Let's not push for a more harsh auto-afk timer... instead come up with solutions on how they can get rid of the queue or/and you people who just got in today.... how about roll on a less populated server. Plus, making people logout more frequently will not solve the queue problem... it will continue to add more people to it.
  8. I would like an option to enable chat bubbles for say and groups too. It's just easier for me to see what people are saying when fighting or whatever.
  9. Yes, it's $1. Did it yesterday.
  10. How about when you're actually ATK and crafting... apparently clicking windows doesn't count as being ATK. There were times I was crafting with one companion and waiting for my other companions to return with items and the game kicked me out immediately. Sometimes I received the warning logout and was able to hit cancel, but not all the time. I sent in a bug ticket. Sometimes when you are kicked to the character screen it won't load you back into the game and will force you into the queue.
  11. I agree with the OP. I was disappointed. All my items from this are actually in the bank and will probably stay there, except for the STAP. A little mad face about the droid and the color stone (wanted to be able to change to whatever color I wanted... not just yellow-black).
  12. Level 25 Commando here. I generally try not to spend any money on armor, weapons or stims. I use commendations or whatever I loot for my needs. Never repair before equipping your best stuff that you just looted. Otherwise, you'll end up repairing the armor and weapons you're about to get rid of to the vendor. If you loot a blue or purple that you can't use and none of your friends can use it... put it up for sale on the galactic market. Some people only upgrade abilities that they use each level to save credits for level 25, but I upgraded them all and learned each one. I crafted some, but not a lot. (Up to about 90 in synthweaving) What materials I could harvest myself; I did rather than send my companions out. (cause that will eventually lead to lots of credit loss) I did purchase extra space for my immediate inventory -5000. I really can't think of anything else to conserve credits up to this point in my characters life. Upon reaching 25 I was able to purchase training to ride my speeder (-40,000) and I still had almost 40k left. Now I have sent my companions out on missions and I'm down to 10k lol
  13. You enter your credit card info for next months subscription. They actually do NOT charge you 15 bucks. I subscribed last night and was charged $1. (Test funds.) You definitely need to subscribe via game card or credit card to be able to play once SWTOR goes live... according to the FAQ. Again, I was only charged one dollar as a test funds I guess. I was not charged $15 and I won't be charged $15 until the next subscription period since the game itself came with a 30 day subscription. Just letting you all know what happened when I did it.
  14. This ^. You can also just dismiss them.
  15. It's strange... I have a Skype account that's free and bugs out and closes when I'm playing ToR, BUT I also have a paid Skype account that has no problems when ToR is running. I can't figure that one out.
  16. I quit the game and logged back in. Didn't show a mail icon, but checked the ingame mail anyhow and the items were there.
  17. My Documents>Star Wars - The Old Republic>Screenshots
  18. Look at these... some listed are mechanical. http://www.quickonlinetips.com/archives/2011/09/best-gaming-keyboards/ I do NOT recommend the G510 (not listed there anyhow), because the space bar on most of them are faulty. It will either double space or won't space at all.
