  1. Since it worked on the PTS, I really expected it to make it to live. But it seems fixing the clipping issues with the different hairstyles kind of prevents it now. So this is my suggestion, dearest Bioware, please allow us to wear Mandalore the Utlimate's Mask under Hoods again.
  2. Strange, I still remember all the pre-2.7-whining on my server about how useless Basic Comms were and that nobody even runs Tacticals Well, I think it depends mostly on how you earn your Basic Comms. If you "need" 10 Basic Comms off the Groupfinder-Daily to get your daily Isotope-5 than you might have to rethink your strategy. But still, if you end up with CZ-198 or Tython/Korriban you earn 6 Basic Comms (Loot + at the end of the FP). To get 35 Basic Comms, you don't have to do much. Running CZ-198 and Oricon might be enough (but I am bit foggy on how much you can get by doing the H2 and its Bonus Quest). Even if it isn't enough, a short visit to Makeb does the trick.
  3. Well, there was a saying in the old Expanded Universe, that any character who has ever been kicked off a ledge or thrown down a reactor core will return. So far Malgus and Mace Windu are the only ones who didn't come back (but there is also the theory that Windu just changed appeareance and became Director of SHIELD instead in another universe) . Palpatine got cloned, Maul returned as a cyborg, even Boba Fett used a grenade to get out of the Pit of Carkoon, Luke Skywalker survived Bespin...
  4. This! If it fits under a hood, I would definitely buy it. I even wished they would have done something like it in the upcoming Ajunta Pall-Set. Instead they went with a weird version of the Darth Malgus rebreather. Ajunta Pall - Bandit Style
  5. Imagine a podracer. Now imagine a Tauntaun in front of it. Now forget the turbines and put a harness on the Tauntaun. And witness the birth of the Tauntaun Chariot Mount. Might also open up the possibilty of a "Life Day"-themed variante with the never released Life Day-Tauntaun With all the Animal Mounts coming out and the possibility of using Droids instead (for a variante like the one in Episode II on Tatooine) I think a Chariot mount would be another cool addition to the game. Just let me throw my Daragon-Armor and the Centurion title on, cause it's time to show the Imprial Fleet some Roman style. Driving around in my podracer and getting stalked by two Tauntaun-Riders might have helped me to dream this idea up.
  6. Something something... the force?
  7. Critic may help them to improve, but hey we may also the people who have bought the stuff they tried before. Of course I am obsessed, I am Star Wars fan for example, so I would love to see more iconic Star Wars stuff come up. And I am willing to pay for them, either with CC or credits after buying the stuff from somebody in Trade-Chat or the GTN. Either way, Bioware earns money with it. So I see a win-win situation here. Fans demanding and Bioware cashing in.
  8. I would love this set too for my Sin. Let's add some pictures, since the CM guys like to have some reference Kun Art Kun Comic Kun Timeline
  9. You can do it Bioware! I would buy the set and even use a Black/Black dye on it. Please take my money
  10. Even without a Stealth Ship sneaking into 2.8, I like the substitutes.
  11. Running the new Korriban and Tython Flashpoints without end to get my faction-based Korrealis mounts I have seen a lot of really great but also a fair share of underperforming groups. Since they are harder than KDY or CZ-198 before some DPS really seem to have some troubles adjusting for a Tactical that requires more group play. A Sentinel rushing well ahead of the group, jumping into a Trash pack that leaves him with no chance of survival. Been there, seen that. But the strangest thing occured to me and a PUG group during a Run of the Republic version of Korriban Incursion. As some may have noticed, the Sith Champion in the central hall of the Academy can get pretty tough if you end up in a group without somebody being able to heal and even than the lack of coordination can cause some problems. So whenever I have a stealth class in my group, I ask them to CC that guy and just be done with it, because if he is sleeping there won't be any adds at all. Works fine in most cases. Until one ends up with that kind of expert we ended up with. Wearing a mix of 162 and 168 gear, but without augments I really believed he would have no problems with simply using his Mind Maze as a Jedi Shadow. So we get into position and wait for him to go into stealth and take the Sith out.... but nothing happens. We wait. Still nothing. So another guy asks him, why he isn't doing anything. He tells us, his class does not have a CC. A Jedi Shadow unaware of his most valuable PVP and Solo-PVE ability? Ok. Then he goes on to find excuses, like he does not have Mind Maze because he is DPS. I have 4 Sith Assassins so I know a bit about that and explain him how that is a Class ability and all Shadow's have it. In the end we got him down to the excuse, that he NEVER has needed or used Mind Maze before. Playing a stealth-class to 55 and starting to gear up him without a clue what stealth actually does for you, that's a new one.
  12. Since we can get the Republic Korrealis on Tython and the Imperial on Korriban, while there are no Mounts on the vendor, I would love to see them legacy-bound. Like the Red Sphere that drops off Xenoanalyst II.
  13. Since the issue was raised as a part of the speculation about Galactic Strongholds I fear the worst. When the Legacy-wide Achievement System was introduced, I hoped for more than just titles. Now it seems like 2.8 will do something about that, but I guess the only big change will be to introduce trophies of some kind as a reward for certain achievements. Still, the Achievement System could do so much more. Let's take the Hunt for the MCR-99 Droids for example. Scanning all of them on one character rewards the MCR-100 pet. It's nice to have some rewards that are only achievable per character, but besides titles there is nothing in the Achievement System that comes even close to that. There are no mounts, no pets, no companion customizations. In comparison, i can get my Aratech Ice for doing all classic HM Flashpoints on one character. But having completed every Flashpoint in the game at least once rewards me with 20 Cartel Coins and nothing more. Running Czerka Corporate Labs on SM and HM 25 times got me nowhere, I even lost every roll as soon as the Desler Nomad came up. And I guess it will be the same with Tython and Korriban. I don't mind running the FP 25 times to get something out of it, but I really hate the fact, that nearly every reward for PVE content is tied to RNG. Because RNG might grant the reward for something to somebody who does not care and gives nothing about what he just got, while on the other side players who really invest time and effort into running group content and taking care of queues popping up get nothing. I even believe that elder PVE content could become more interesting to players if rewards like new faction-specific Korrealis mounts become obtainable through running a certain number of Flashpoints. We are already accustomed to the concept of the VEHICLE quests for Classic HM Flashpoints and Operations, but a legacy-wide Achievement-Tracker would be the perfect basis to take this concept a step further. As another example, I really like the title Meatbag, but it might not be too difficult to add a HK-47 customization for HK-51s to that same Achievement. So people who would not have cared about the Achievement and Foundry HM before might become interested. Simply use the Achievement System to revitalize aspects of the game. The combination of RNG-rewards like pets and mounts like the Rendili Fireball or Tirsa Elite with new Achievement-related rewards might be a good way to keep older content relevant and populations in some parts of the game up. Achievement rewards beyond trophies and titles may encourage people to do content they would otherwise ignore.
  14. Maybe with blinking lights like the THORN CM sets.
  15. Yellow or Green Gree Spheres A new Tank mount, possibly for THORN A kind of personal Walker (like the AT-PT or whatever the Clones use on Kashyyk in Ep III searching for Yoda) Two-seated Tirsa Mounts A Reek Mount A golden Korrealis, Tirsa or Dessler (maybe a Korrealis King?) A black Korrealis, Tirsa or Dessler (maybe a Korrealis Emperor?) More closed and car like vehicles A battled and burning Starfighter (would be great as a kind of Legacy reward for becoming Space Ace or Fleet Admiral)
  16. I'd like to nominate Shirim on T3-M4 Republic Side. He or she seems at least as good as Mad-ice
  17. + Stroywise there really shouldn't be anything that hinders MZ-12 joining any Imperial crew. + He does not need any additional voice-over work. + Who wouldn't love his own personal R2 unit. + Legacy-armor for him would already be in place (CZ-198). + Darkside T7, I really love the idea. + I'd love to have my personal T3-M4 and see him using a Flamethrower (I believe that was even a option for the original T3 in KOTOR). + He would provide a great opportunity to create a real Tank/DPS or Heal/DPS companion, the way HK didn't turn out to be.
  18. I made a thread about that a while back, since Tech-weapons on companions are not that rare (10 out of 16 Advanced Classes have at least one comp using them).
  19. Seeing a lot of people on my server flying around in CM ships it got me wondering. Would an IL-5 Scout for example allow players to get to Flashfire/Sting Mastery faster, than by using a Flashfire or Sting?
  20. Everytime I find somebody selling the Kyber Assault Cannon in the Imperial Trade Channel I feal a bit cheated. While Assault Cannons look great, their wepon class is flawed - at least from an Imperial perspective. But let me make my point a bit more clear. There are no Imperial classes or companions using Assault cannons. In comparison, there are also only 2 companions and one Advanced class on the Republic side, with the ability to use this great looking marvel of weapon technology. And Aric Jorgan is a Trooper companion, so the possible market for Assault cannons is limited to Jedi Guardians, Jedi Sentinels, Vanguards and Commandos. Four out of eight (4/8) Republic and four out of sixteen (4/16) overall Advanced classes possessing the ability to buy and use this weapon in some way. One might argue that it is the same with Sniper rifles, because there is only one Imperial class that can use them and no Republic counterpart for it. But there are three companions across both factions who can use them (Gault Rennow for Bounty Hunters, Zenith for Jedi Conulsars and Princess Risha for Smugglers), which would add up to 2/8, 4/8 and 6/16 AC... which makes the usability of sniper rifles look much more balanced... plus there is also HK-51, a companion for all 16 Advanced classes. Okay, the "Death Star"-cannon might sell well, because of the way it looks. Might there even be a Assault Cannon-using new companion for all classes on the horizon? Nevertheless it got me thinking about the possible value for "companion weapons" like Tech-Staffs and Blades. Since there could be widespread demand. On both sides there are Torian Cadera (a Bounty Hunter companion), Skadge (Bounty Hunter), SCORPIO (Imperial Agent), Qyzen Fess (Jedi Consular), Akaavi Spar (Smuggler), Tanno Vik (Trooper), Yuun (Trooper). Seven companions in total (10/16 AC) using either a Tech-Blade or Tech-Staff. The problem might be that at least the melee DPS companions are less efficient than ranged DPS companions, so the metrics might show them as less used. There might also be some underlying prejudices too, because two of the mentioned companions are Mandalorians. Still, Melee-DPS Companions are able to kind of tank during Dailies, so that is where my affection for them comes from. I prefer Torian over Gault the same way most Jedi Knights prefer Kira over Sergeant Rusk and Sith Warriors favor Jasea instead of Vette. Even if it less efficient, because Torian takes more damage this way than Gault would, it is much more fun to look at two Powertechs wrecking up a place. During Shipment 1 a Tech-Blade was introduced and ended up with pricing far under 100k on my server's GTN. So I understand the reasons for not brining Tech-Weapons back on the CM. Notwithstanding, the weapon market needs at least some kind of balancing and Tech-weapons could use some serious love. Even after half a year since the last statement on the lack of legacy-bound Tech-weapons no steps have been taken to remedy this situation. Conclusion: I am not arguing for a (re-)introduction of Tech-Staffs and Blades on the CM, but as some legacy-bound items on a reputation vendor.
  21. Since KOTOR I and KOTOR II I am a fan of staff-weapons. While lightsabers may be the thing that can make Star Wars into Star Wars, I think the era of this even longer time ago in a galaxy far far away opens up the possibilty of using more antique weponry. My favorite companion as an Imperial Agent (Vector Hyllus) is also damned to use the same stats and gear as Sith Inquisitors, but without the lightsaber. While he can use a fine but very limited assortment of Killik staffs, my Sith Assassins and nearly all the force using companion-ladies (beside Ashara Zavros) can't. If we cannot get Gaffi Sticks we will not get Killik staffs either, but at least nobody can say it was never suggested after this thread goes online.
