  1. The level cap was 60. That's a good point actually. Instead of shipping with industry standard features, they've decided to go down a completely, more revolutionary route! Over the next few months we can look forward to them patching out brand new content and features, such as a good auction house, dual spec and a customizable UI! I'm looking forward to the day when they expand the MMO genre even more by allowing players to make their own macros. But yes, you claim to have vast experience with MMOs despite typing like a teenager. I'm not sure I believe you.
  2. So it seems that the reusable biochem only stims are now worse than the single use alternative. If guilds were forcing people to roll Biochem to raid with (as you claim) then they will now force them to use the single use stims - thus making it pointless being a biochem.
  3. Yeah, I just realized that. And there I was thinking they'd suddenly made Overcharge Saber good On the other hand, I have a suggestion for how to improve Overcharge Saber...
  4. Ah, I was being a spastic and misread it, thinking it was altering Dark Ward in some way.
  5. "and reducing the rate limit of Dark Charge to 3 seconds." What does that actually mean? I assumed it meant it would only consume one charge every 3 seconds regardless of how often you get hit, but that isn't the case.
  6. Funnily enough my friends and I discussed something similar and we were convinced they'd released the beta client as the retail one, perhaps while they worked in it, and within a few weeks (after christmas) they'd patch in the proper one. We're still waiting...
  7. Can you pick any music or are you still restricted to cantina music?
  8. Will be interesting to see if it's made much of a difference. I cant check until later since I'm just doing dailies on my own.
  9. If you actually believe that then you don't have long left to patch in the huge list of features you're missing. It has to be before the March update, since at least 3 months isn't really a short period of time.
  10. I sort of came from WoW. I unsubbed a few weeks after the Firelands nerf but I've been playing it on and off since the beta. I've had a few months break every now and then (definitely haven't been subbed the entire time), and didn't get fully into raiding until WOTLK (didn't reach BT or Sunwell in TBC). In all honesty, I'm mainly playing TOR at the moment because there just isn't an alternative. I'm done with WoW in it's current form and it's unlikely I'll return until 5.0 when I can try out the new talents and the Deathwing raid/new dungeons. I'm looking forward to it actually beacuse before I have a chance to get bored with the content MoP will be released so I can just move straight into that. At the moment I'll be leaving TOR when that happens, purely because WoW feels so much more polished. I didn't used to be a fan of how Blizzard dealt with the community, but Bioware have really put that into perspective for me and I've realized they're probably the best out there still. Of course, that does give TOR a good few months to sort itself out but I imagine I'll fancy a break from TOR by then anyway. If Blizzard right now gave out a free weeks gametime to everyone with an inactive account Bioware would be in trouble.
  11. Healing Cademimu at level 30 odd would have cost my Agent just under 20k. That is stupid.
  12. I have 7 quests in my log that can't be abandoned and it's getting very fustrating because I keep hitting the mission limit when doing the dailies. I thought this was supposed to have been fixed in 1.1, but since it hasn't are you able to give an update on when it will be?
  13. QFT. We get that you're aware of how poorly optimized the engine is, and it's good that you know that, but how about giving players the choice as to what quality textures they use? Instead of writing a long and condescending post explaining why it's in our best interest that you've kept this quiet for so long, when it clearly isn't.
  14. Wow, that is some truly atrocious looking armour. Hell, it would be awful for any class let alone a Jedi Knight. I'm also more than a little pissed off at Georg's response. Yes, style is subjective but you'll struggle to find more than half a dozen people that love that armour and think it's a fit for a Jedi Knight. Not only that, but he's listing alternatives that aren't even in the game yet! But then I distinctly remember reading a very condescending post of his back in one of the beta weekends, so I can't say I'm surprised.
