Atm, they have valor bonuses for holding points. You get 200% Valor increases. This will be more useful when there are more 50s to kill in the zone.

I've heard that they are planning on putting in the Level 50 bracket once enough players are level 50. People just need to be patient and wait, the game has only been officially open for 11 days and everyone expects instant changes.

Personally, I like the datacron relics the best.

More Warzones will be coming, but just be prepared that if you do choose to have a Warzone filter and you select not to participate in Huttball, then you will be left in a queue until you get enough players from the other faction to queue for a Warzone. If you are getting a lot of Huttball, it's more likely due to an imbalance of players on your server. Just waiting to hear all the complaints about Warzone queues being too long if they do put this in. Hopefully, instead, the next Warzone they put in will be another game that can be played by same faction players. I personally love Huttball and am just tired of hearing people complain about it. So, more so than a filter, I'd rather see another same faction Warzone.

This game is an MMO. The entire game is based around playing with your friends and in guilds. The 50s did not necessarily skip every cutscene nor did they exploit. They had guilds formed prior to game release and got in the early access. You level up much quicker when you do quests with your friends or in a guild, because they put in the bonus quests that apply the xp everytime a group member completes it. That means, with a full group, you can receive 4x the experience for every bonus quest in the game. This trend continues into the WZs. The WZs are team based combat. So, those teams that leveled together will play together. If you want casual one on one PvP, try finding some world PvP. Level 50 brackets will also be coming soon, and if you want to hold your own against the 50s while they are there, try and locate some datacrons for the stat buffs, and start getting your expertise gear. You can make expertise gear as early as 34.

Also, Sorcerers are glass cannons. They might put out crazy damage, but look at the number of times they die. Without their bubble which has a 20 second reuse time, they drop in no time. They might be putting out a lot of dmg, but if your team will focus them first, they won't last long.

This post has appeared multiple times in the PvP forums. Bioware simply set up this initial bracket to reduce queue times. There are already reports that a 50 bracket will be implemented once there are enough 50s to not have to wait 2 hours for a queue pop.

I know people are going to hate that I have revealed this secret, but I am tired of seeing people complain about 50's being OP, bc they have expertise. Truth is, you have to take into account how many datacron stats they have and how many more talents they have than you. For those of you who are uninformed. You can have expertise as early as level 34. This capability comes from the genius modding system in this game. There is a PvP weapon vendor next to the PvP daily mission box. You spend 330 commendations to buy a weapon. The weapons have expertise on them. The expertise is fortunately on the enhancement part of the weapon. Therefore, you can remove the mod from the weapon and place it on another piece of gear. So, for the price of 330 commendations you can purchase an expertise enhancement. For the hardcore PvPers like myself, this is a low cost, because I had reached a point where I had 1000 Mercs and 1000 WZ comms and was buying the PvP green boxes and selling the gear for credits since I wasn't 50 yet and already had a 50 box that is unique and can't be opened. I know those that have figured this out already will not like seeing this secret revealed on the Forums, but it should help resolve the debate of no expertise vs. 50's. Now if you are still crying that you can't get expertise til 34, I'm sorry, but this is not a twink game.

Also, if you are upset about sorcerer/sage pulls in Huttball. Don't cry OP, and, instead, get upset at your team's tanks wasting their grapples on pulling people into fires and acid pits and laughing at the kills instead of countering the sorcerer/sage pull. A good tank will always save their CD on their grapple for countering a sorc/sage pull.

I enjoy the PvP in this game as well. For PvP healing though, you should not be just spamming heals to get large heal numbers on the charts to try and beg for an MVP vote. MVP does not necessarily mean best healer. As a healer, you should also help with CC's or focus fire to burn down an enemy. In this game, being a healer is not about heal spam. The heals are enough to save someone from dying if you work together to finish the player off with CC/dmg combos. The MVP vote goes to who ever the player deems most deserving. Yes, sometimes people just vote for top dmg and yes some guilds will only vote for each other, but if you saved someone in a close fight or guarded another player as a tank or even cc'd a player at the right time in a Huttball to allow the ball handler to score, these are all equally deserving of an MVP score in someone's eyes besides just clicking heals on the stats sheet and seeing who is at the top. I am a sorcerer PvP healer and yes I can be burned down by a dual wielding opponent in a few shots, but if I CC them appropriately and maintain enough dmg on them to make them think defensively, I can hold my own fairly well, until my teammates come to help. And yes, you do need a team in a Warzone, it's about team gameplay and communication not 1v1. (Sorry for the long rant, just had to get it out there.)

I would like to see character transfers made available to help smooth the transition to evenly distributing players across servers.
