Am I late to the casual roleplaying discussion?

I'm almost straight down the line neutral (-100 Dark). 99% of the time I do exaclty what I was hired to do and never take bribes or let the mark talk its way out of the situation. Doesn't always earn me affection points from Mako but I do notice that a lot of times the light side choice is what you were hired to do anyway.

While his figure obviously isn't likely accurate I think these forums are evidence enough that people don't like the staggered launch.

They just don't learn do they. I'm normally not one to complain about MMOs but this is ridiculous. It's clear for anyone to see that the majority of the community doesn't like the overly cautious approach and can see the server load to know the servers can handle the influx of players.

None of that has any bearing on how the game was physically released to its customers.

Rift may not have had as many pre-orders as SWTOR but that's what extra servers are for *******es.

Nowhere near as much because it's largely expected as I said. Only people brand new to MMO's or with unrealistic expectations would complain. As it stands now a lot of us are waiting for an email because as an afterthought Bioware decided to tell us that when we pre-order affects anything. If I would have known I'd be waiting like I am now I would have bought the game sooner but considering that every other MMO that has launched with EGA has let everyone with EGA in at once I felt no real rush to do so.

Which means that Bioware knew that people weren't satisfied with the whole dumb idea of waves but went with it anyway. No other MMO has ever done it this way. People are used to queues and server crashes on launch day, not this crap. They would rather have an equal chance to get in like everyone else not have someone else decide when they can get in with an "oh btw when you pre-order affects your game access" 3 months after pre-orders have been available.

Yeah just checked my guilds server and it's listed as Medium. None of us have invites yet. YAY.

Hopefully the one more to go is their way of saying "F it, we'll just add 15 more servers and invite everyone in at once like most every other game does."
