Problem is there is no difference in mechanics from normal mode to nightmare mode. It's just the same ****, only does more dmg. So it's a gearcheck. Doesn't require anything new apart from your head to faceroll the keyboard.

Dunno about others, but I've never had problems with any of this. It just boils down to deception requiring a bit more skill. Good thing there's madness spec or people would have to roll bounty hunters instead

I raid HM OP's and I'm always finished 1-3rd (being beat by sorcs only, by max 2-5 seconds) on the marauder solo boss (100k~ hp). Difference is usually some lucky crit. Deception spec and this is without useing maul, because obviously I can't cc the mob. So actually I loose out on some dps and still do good. Anyone saying assassin dps don't have dps potential don't know what they are talking about.

Why do you need a threatmeter? All you need is a targets-target frame too see who has agro and adapt. ATM u gotta look for some dps starting to loose health, but the game is so trivial that's all it takes. Threatmeters are not needed.

I like deception gameplay in PvP. I tried a madness hybrid build, but the gameflow just sux and is no fun (although it might have a bit more utility). Althought a bit squishy, you really gotta pick your fights and not run in like a headless chicken.

I dunno where u find these people, but on my server all FP's I've done people greed on everything, without making it clear in chat beforehand. It's like the silent rule. Maybe it's a US server problem.

Why does the columni weapon have a lvl 48 crystal ? makes no sense.. Is it bugged too ? My champion pvp wep got more end more power only missing 14 willpower vs columni ..

The problem is Bioware did _half_ the job with this system. It has so much potential , but if the system constantly gives chars with the same loot slotted it's borked. You can't even give away the loot that is assigned to you, if you could it would be a quick fix to the problem really. Like drag 'n drop the item you don't need. I would like to a see the game checking the gear level of people and then assigning the loot, but I'm worried this is alot more work for bioware atm.

Here we can see what the WoW crutch did too people. If you are DPS and can't control your dps without a threatmeeter you suck. I can see why tanks might have trouble holding agro when DPS burst all their adrenals, crit modifiers etc. But tanking in this game is so trivial it's down to the DPS. Sometimes the tank too, but in the case mentioned in by OP most def the dps.

My best time in-game was super mario jumping. Why are people so afraid of a challenge? You don't even get repaircosts from falling down and dieing.

Assassin prebuffs still stuttering or not working as intended. It's always a lottery if I can use saber charge and recklessness after eachother without doing a saber strike inbetween to reset my char. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't = broken. In pvp this is really gamebreaking as standing around unable to do _anything_, waititng for a broken animation, is a deathsentence.

Well I would really like to see this post where Bioware says they don't support hybrid builds. Everyone claims it has been said , but I have never seen a link nor a screenshot proving it.

@OP: Really nice vid. Deception rules I fare well as a PuG assassin, ofc when it's pug vs pug. I never expect heals and adjust my playstyle.

Where does it say SW TOR is damaging your hardware components ?

From what I remember I usually blow all my cds, then kite around useing slow/instants (shock discharge) on all the questline bosses. I tend to use a dps pet for this or healer one at the late levels.

I tried a madness build in EV and it's possibly my worse raid experience ever. I would quit the game if that was the only viable assassin playstyle tbh. Madness does have the highest _sustained_ dps, which is yes, useless in the current boss-design (AoE on ground ever 15-20 seconds) After going back to my deception spec, it was like day and night. Could run in , unleash a burst of dmg, run out on boss abilites and come back with full force to do another burst. Most of the endgame pve bosses sux for melee tho, else I think we're more than capable of outdpsing sorc's f ex. Only a dps meeter would tell tho.

If they do like other big mmo companies has done in the past, they will roll everyone suspected of it back to 0. This way it's much easier, no backtracking just put a 0 and done with it. And yes it has been done before.

Was there today, one guy got those Aim legs not meant for his class. Our sorc got willpower shield generator. Loot is borked.
