Problem is there is no difference in mechanics from normal mode to nightmare mode. It's just the same ****, only does more dmg. So it's a gearcheck. Doesn't require anything new apart from your head to faceroll the keyboard.

Dunno about others, but I've never had problems with any of this. It just boils down to deception requiring a bit more skill. Good thing there's madness spec or people would have to roll bounty hunters instead

I raid HM OP's and I'm always finished 1-3rd (being beat by sorcs only, by max 2-5 seconds) on the marauder solo boss (100k~ hp). Difference is usually some lucky crit. Deception spec and this is without useing maul, because obviously I can't cc the mob. So actually I loose out on some dps and still do good. Anyone saying assassin dps don't have dps potential don't know what they are talking about.

Why do you need a threatmeter? All you need is a targets-target frame too see who has agro and adapt. ATM u gotta look for some dps starting to loose health, but the game is so trivial that's all it takes. Threatmeters are not needed.

I like deception gameplay in PvP. I tried a madness hybrid build, but the gameflow just sux and is no fun (although it might have a bit more utility). Althought a bit squishy, you really gotta pick your fights and not run in like a headless chicken.

I dunno where u find these people, but on my server all FP's I've done people greed on everything, without making it clear in chat beforehand. It's like the silent rule. Maybe it's a US server problem.

Why does the columni weapon have a lvl 48 crystal ? makes no sense.. Is it bugged too ? My champion pvp wep got more end more power only missing 14 willpower vs columni ..

The problem is Bioware did _half_ the job with this system. It has so much potential , but if the system constantly gives chars with the same loot slotted it's borked. You can't even give away the loot that is assigned to you, if you could it would be a quick fix to the problem really. Like drag 'n drop the item you don't need. I would like to a see the game checking the gear level of people and then assigning the loot, but I'm worried this is alot more work for bioware atm.

Here we can see what the WoW crutch did too people. If you are DPS and can't control your dps without a threatmeeter you suck. I can see why tanks might have trouble holding agro when DPS burst all their adrenals, crit modifiers etc. But tanking in this game is so trivial it's down to the DPS. Sometimes the tank too, but in the case mentioned in by OP most def the dps.

My best time in-game was super mario jumping. Why are people so afraid of a challenge? You don't even get repaircosts from falling down and dieing.
