  1. My guild is in the same boat. We've seen our Guild numbers & active player count plummet since cartel coins have gone on sale. I'm not going anywhere, moreover, I 'm not giving them another dime beyond my sub that enables them to keep messing up the game. That's not to say my guild won't abandon me if they don't do something soon, but I waited out the last round of sever X-fers on Bondar Crystal back at launch....so I have no issue doing so again. We're a small guild & we put a TON of work into our flagship, I won't toss that away. If my guild dies....I'll just go play something else till mergers happen -- GG BioFail/EAwear.
  2. ^^ Updated 6.24.15 ^^ *Officer position acquired by successful election. *Join us for our first GSF event, "GSF Academy" on 7.1.15. The event will run from 10am-10pm est by appointment, culminating with a group flight at 5:30pm est. Do you suck at GSF? Do you not get it!?! Allow our guild Ace to show you the ropes!! Join Tao today!!
  3. Yeah, I'm in this boat myself. I've put waaaaay too much work into my flagship & guild just to up & drop it -- I'd quit first. You also have to look at the fact that EaWear hasn't released any meaningful PVP content in over a year, so naturally the PvP servers are dead. All they keep tossing at us is half-*****ed PvE content. Last year was a gold mine in content compared to the trickle from this year. PS: I will say my Guild has been growing rapidly since a lot of the bigger guilds have packed up & left town -- so long suckers! I don't mind being a big fish in a small pond lol.
  4. I didn't see anywhere else to post this, moreover, I noticed that EAware didn't create a thread for "rise of the emperor. Probably didn't want us to complain in it lo! Well...here's my customary review. Pros: *I really liked the story for patch 3.2, what's there was to have anyway. *I really liked the atmosphere of the planet & story as a whole. *Big kudos on bringing in another stand alone OPS fight....it's nice to have something short & sweet to do when you're done with a raid. Although, I seriously question the difficulty of this boss -- too hard for casuals. Cons: *Bottom line, there's only about an hour & a half of actual content here -- story wise. My first time through it took me about 2.5 hours, but there's no point at all in doing the side missions on any subsequent runs. Without class missions or even faction differences it's really cut & dry. *I'm kinda disappointed in the ending of RotE. I mean I know that there is likely more to come, but there was NO explanation about why Ziost was wiped out at the end. *The daily area kinda sucks -- sorry. I mean, did you really think it was a good idea to make it so the opposing faction could steal the WB during a fight? We can't even fight back!! The least you could have done was let us team up with the IMPS if you were going to make it this way....... *Still no love for PvP or GsF. - - - - Bottom Line: This is a long line in what is starting to become a very disappointing year for SWTOR. You guys continue to push out lazy content, all the while having killed off the casual crowd via an awful L33T ranked PvP community & over-tuned raid encounters. I think it's time to think about server mergers again -- D+.
  5. No, no issues on DF/DP. RaV/ToS are not hard on a gaming rig, but just how much of the population owns a performance PC that can run the game on high? I challenge you to run RaV/ToS on a low end PC & see what happens....you'll slow to a crawl & won't even be able to see half the fights because of how much the AoE mechanics bog down your machine. I only know because I had to play on mt GFs laptop for a but while moving.....it wasn't fun.....
  6. Those free Xfers need to come with refunds for guild banks, flagships, strongholds, & all the decos that come with them.
  7. I'd vote for Jung-Ma personally. I've herd the PvP community on their server is fairly chill/casual. That might be a good balance to all the L33T players we have on our server. I know A LOT of people who wont touch ranked on POT5 because of how much **** they catch when they try to play. PvP on our server needs a bigger tent with room for more people of varying skill levels.
  8. ^^ Update ^^ New late night & Sunday afternoon events added.
  9. I don't think the server is dead, but I will say the population was MUCH higher right before SoR. The week SoR came out was even better, but A LOT of things happened after that which killed your casual population. Which mind you makes up most of the player base. Just from my side of things...it used to take 15-20min to set up a PUG raid....it takes about 30min to an hour now especially if you're wanting to run the new more difficult raids. - Low Res PCs have a really hard time handling the new raids -- AOE mechanics. I've seen people who were good players normally on SM not be able to produce in ToS & RaV. The new raids are just waaaaay too hard for casual raiding on SM. There is A LOT of lag now, or at least more than I've ever noticed in the past. The ranked community on POT5 is full of pompous L33T players who discourage casual PvP. - PS: I'd rather have another server merge with us. I remember how much of a pain it was to relocate my Guild when the first server mergers came up. I can only imagine how hard it might be with flagships, strongholds, & decos now.
  10. As always you have my support Nwahs. Just let me know whats up if you wanna move on this.
  11. I don't agree with all of this, but I will say the population was MUCH higher right before SoR. 12. I still think SWTOR needs a mode like this, or very similar to this. So, I'm bumping to bring attention to it . Post if you agree.
  13. ^^ Update 4.22.15 ^^ - - Officer information updated New officer position posted (one removed) Weekly Conquest info posted
  14. Do these happen once a month? Regardless, as the most senior member of our high council I am officially vouching for our attendance. Tao Covenant will be sending at least one representative. Our web site is in my forum tag, but for additional information please see our recruitment thread below. Tao Covenant Recruitment Thread ~Lecto PS: Thank you for all your hard work Irrissa
  15. Personally, I think that they need to make the LvL 60 HM FPs easier in general. Moreover, HM FPs were always what you ran to gear up for raiding. That really isn't the case anymore......
  16. While I do enjoy these....why can't they be in the game? Say in a cut scene? Like a flash back? Such a waist......
  17. ^^ UPDATE 3.3.15 ^^ Our Flag-Ship The "Nebuchadnezzar" has launched! Join us for our first conquest event on the 16th of this month!!
  18. I like this idea.....however, I do feel the new SM content is too hard. I can do it, but not everyone in my Guild can. This has lead to people just not doing the content....heck you can't even gear up in HM-FPs anymore because they are just as hard as the raids, if not more-so in some cases!
  19. You're quite welcome, & as always you have my support. I think it's a crying shame that he devs don't pay us any mind -- my opinion. With the sorry state of End-Game in terms of PvP...THIS GAME NEEDS more variety. I couldn't say that prior to SoR....the PvE grind is just way too hard now for casual play. In terms of the "Boots on the ground" aspect, I think that might be a nice addition. Separate ques, but one could effect the other. Heck, Boots on the ground could be a WZ map.
  20. Hey @EricMusco, any thoughts? Did you see this? I think you owe us a little input if nothing else. **Bumping for response*
  21. I'm with OP on this thread, although, I would not go as far as to say I'm being pushed away. BUT, I will say that my level of fun has been going downhill ever since finishing 3.0 story content. The end game is WAAAY too over-tuned for casual game-play as a whole -- nurfs are required. I'm also really disappointed about the lack of GSF & PvP support as a whole....while I see they are balancing all the time...that doesn't provide new content. Any GOOD expansion would at least give a little bit of love to every aspect of the game (Hell, WoW gets a new class almost every year)....as opposed to just the L33T raiding crowd. I love raiding, but it's not the only reason I play the game.
  22. I wasn't aware that there was a work around for this fight. Can someone share the details with me? What happens when you leave the platform? Can you just stand at the bottom & DPS the boss then? What happens to the adds?
  23. You know, I've never done either of these FPs, moreover, by the time I was at the appropriate level for them there were too many other options originally. I'd love to see them pushed into the HM pool as I would assume many folks have never done them. ./signed
  24. Hemm, I don't know about the proposed class as a whole.....but I am for a new class of some type. WoW gets a new class every year. Why can't we? I'd like to see a summoner (kinda like a minion...but more spell based) & a support class of some type for less skilled players (bard or something to that effect...someone who buffs other players). ./signed
  25. I think what this summoning really needs are the tears & pain of players game wide. We shall all PUG ToS/RaV sm once each day......as we will never complete it this way & be overcome by pain & sadness. PS: I support your cause! This thread made me laugh on several occasions -- kudos!
