  1. An LS Jaesa doesn't give in to the emotional attachment side, but will still agree to bear your offspring. If your concern was whether or not you get to bed her, that's resolved: You do, but she's not going to be the passionate warhorse that DS Jaesa is, which comes about as a result of you breaking her. Gotta suck it up and accept your choices do have, however minor, some consequences.
  2. Nice to see I and der roommate weren't the only one who never got any coins. Well, not *nice*, but you know what I mean. Yet another fouled-up approach. And they pushed back Chapter 16. And Guss' recruitment. I mean, JFC, people, *** is going on in the offices, did the 3 hamsters who still had a job all call in sick?
  3. I got around this issue simply by grabbing a legacy saber hilt (though usually any will do) and putting the crystal in, then ripping it out. Upon extraction it typically re-checks to see if it has been added to the collection. (post-patch, that is). While I never much cared for white-black because pure white is better looking, it is now in my collection. Sadly, I have no such comparable mechanic to use in order to get Tulak Hord's armor to count in the collection, nor the ceremonial outfits (bits & pieces from 2 different ceremonial sets). I do hope they fix this up. Maybe re-check things when stamping them into an outfit designer slot, since I can do that all day.
  4. I also ran into this same problem, both Imperial & Republic side, and what's more annoying is that I filed a ticket IN GAME, and my CS ticket isn't even showing in their system. It's like they deleted it rather than even shove a Closed marker on it (as has often happened with stuff they don't pay attention to). My scout looks all wrong now.
  5. Any word on if this will also include the bug fix to Artifice so that advanced colors can be reverse engineered again? As it stands now, we can't learn any of the black-core colors, nor purple/cyan on anyone who didn't have it prior to roughly 4.1. (Nor do color crystals seem to be getting crit success duplicates as they used to).
  6. Oh how I wish I had seen this thread sooner.. I just transferred six characters and lost everything appearance-wise. I can't recreate the looks on a couple characters because it's storyline armor that I sold off just prior to the transfer (not in my buy-back list on the vendors. AUGH!) I'll recover from the loss of all that dye, but these characters were the type to have half a dozen different looks as they levelled up.
  7. The default freebie already is, as is the SE Black-Green. The level 50's still cost you credits.
  8. This isn't a fair statement. All the end rewards for the Gree event could be attained while still avoiding participation in PvP. It might take longer, but it was doable.
  9. I fired up my trusty Sentinel yesterday to start KotFE. Boy, was I surprised, when I discovered that outside of the expansion, when I knocked off a mission while Scourge was healing me, that he in fact is no longer Lord Scourge. Every. Single. Statement. As a healer, he speaks with Sgt. Rusk's voice related to his abilities. Now, it may not be beyond a Sith to engage in a little deception, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't lower himself to imitate a member of the military while right next to you. Even if you do make him suffer the indignity of being your medic. And I imagine he'll be thrilled when C2-N2 is allowed back into the universe.
  10. Not sure if serious or sarcastic here - because they definitely haven't fixed this bug. I was experiencing it in full bloom this morning. More work to be done.
  11. Indeed. My matrix cube and all shards poofed, as have yours - however, when I tripped across the cube (Rep side) above the Ilum base, it once again divulged a matrix shard - so they're not gone, just "reallocated". Again.
  12. Based on other information I've seen and read, not only will it still work, but it appears they may also be introducing higher tiers of gifts as well. Now, whether these new tiers will be recoverable via UT/TH/Diplo/whatever as previous tiers, or if these are being restricted to the drops from Cartel packs, I don't know.
  13. Yes, I fully expect to see this as well, and I'm fine with it. Elitists always invent one new gateway or another to restrict other people, but in this case, it is a legitimate tool of recognition - it is a blatant mark of one who invested time/effort into playing through all the classes. It doesn't mean they'll be any good at playing those classes, but they did it, so they have a higher-than-average chance of having a clue, which is a good thing. Note however that it does not relate to (1-60) at all, but merely having played through and fully completed the character's class story, Chapters 1 through 3. Not much changes between there and 60 though. They do not, and this was (slightly) addressed in Musco's livestream where it was shown off. If you've played everything but the Jedi Knight and then make your JK the insta-60, you have not completed those chapters - and on this character, cannot go back to complete them. That content is locked out, so you will not receive the icon/achievements for having done so.
  14. I'm not sure I follow your reasoning here. The only way in which your force alignment has any effect is upon your appearance, and gear you may be likely to use while below level 50. I have yet to run into any 50+ loot/gear that has an alignment restriction. Now, how that can be a factor you being level 60 and undertaking Knights of the Fallen Empire, that's the part I don't grok. Everything that has come before (core story/companion stories) are done/gone by this point. They don't affect what you're doing, you didn't do them.
  15. This one always puzzles me. Was I the only person who played it through and Jaesa herself was perfectly okay with the Juggy-Jaesa-vette 3-way? It was Vette who wasn't down for it, Jaesa was full-bore ready and willing. Contrary to what the game might try to project as legitimate, not all relationships are limited to 2 partners. My Jugg having a fling with Lana isn't cheating. It's implicit in the relationship agreement that he will do whatever the hell he wants to do, as he is driven by emotion and impulse. Likewise, he expects his partners to be very much the same. DS Jaesa may, or may not, be annoyed, but she wasn't cheated on.
  16. This really isn't true. It doesn't have the direct 'tangible' payoff in cutscene that you like from DS Jaesa, but she still goes so far as to offer to have your babies. That's romancing in action, buddy.
  17. I proposed a middle-of-the-road solution to match this request, not to change all the craftables, but to allow people to acquire the basic colors as +41s at level 10 - via legacy bound crystals purchased with matrix shards. This would leave Artifice still a viable crew skill and let people get what they're after via other methods, without seeing the whole system neutered. Here in this thread. In part because I agree, the core colors should at least be available if people really want them, without becoming Cartel Market drops, because that would utterly destroy Artifice, especially now that they've lost Enhancement crafting.
  18. Yeah, I gotta veto the idea on a few core points, most of which the prior post addressed nicely. Going dark as a Jedi does not make you Sith. This is a vastly overlooked and miraculously misunderstood concept by a lot of people. Sith and Jedi are *philosophies* in the ways of using the force and life. While one could actively choose to study the other, simply having a force alignment that differs from the norm in your chosen philosophy does not change you into the other. All Jedi are not good people. All Sith are not bloodthirsty Chaotic-Stupid-Evil despots. To choose the most easily recognized and potentially offense-causing comparison. let's say you're a Christian. Just because you may stop eating bacon doesn't make you a Jew. So ultimately, no, I don't think faction changing is appropriate, warranted, nor worth exploring. When you choose your base class, you are choosing to inhabit the iconic embodiment of that character. It is not YOUR story, it is the story of the heroic/despotic <insert class here>, and your choices merely reflect moments worthy of note in a part of that iconic character's history. This far, becoming an outright traitor to your origin isn't a part of it in the grander scheme. You have undertake actions of questionable nature, but almost always for the betterment of your faction. (or, in a couple cases, purely for yourself).
  19. Actually, there is still a point. Tied in with the discussion regarding how all companion gear is merely cosmetic now, your Influence (the Affection rename/replacement) will directly correlate to boosting their effectiveness in combat. And, given how the current system works, it also increases their effectiveness (time reduction, crit success chance) for missions and crafting.
  20. Ship droids have been able to equip blasters for quite some time now, as well as generators in the offhand. They make fantastic healers, and my 2V units don't jabber at every fsking kill they make, which is why they have become my preferred companion.
  21. Not quite - unless you have absolute max presence and companion affection/influence, they will be of varying deficiency. They are all simply going to be "the same", and then boosted by these values. That does not necessarily equate to 'max gear for your level'. One of the reasons I am going to miss gearing companions is specifically because of the full control I had over their gearing. Sometimes I wanted them to be Crit focused, others I wanted stacked on Alacrity, because it was helpful. These choices are gone and replaced by nebulous mystery values of which I have no control over. In fact, ignoring level-sync, the gear gives me a secondary, trivial concern. Musco showed that droids get no cosmetic gear (unless you count the weapon), because droid gear does not change their appearance. Okay, I can accept that to a point. But gear does not change how Broonmark or Treek look either. I use that helmet slot to modulate Treek's voice to make the chirp and chatter more tolerable. Do I lose that, too?
  22. As I understand everything, Rankyn's response to you is correct. If you wind up not liking it for some reason, you could delete, but will not get a different L60 for free. Note also that the 'free 60' does not count towards your legacy completion of classes for heroic abilities or anything else.
  23. You have never been required to go back to the fleet. I think every planet (except possibly Quesh, I didn't check, but I doubt it was overlooked) has class trainers for every class in the game. Most of the time they are in the first on-planet area you encounter, though not always (I know Dromund Kaas requires you get to the city first). They were already given a great service in having the skill training cost entirely removed. Surely it cannot be too much work to simply take a QT/rapid taxi back to train things if it's that vital.
  24. An excellent summary of most of my feeling on it. It had style, it had the feel of the game we were actually about to embark upon. Now it's a flat uninteresting/uninspired tablet interface.
  25. That was a concern of mine, as well as the pair for completing the Macrobinocular and Seeker droid chains.
