  1. My 10mo old Husky/Malamute drools on my keyboard while I play and then I put my finger on a drooly key. Puppies.
  2. I like Twi'leks, but the males are just a put off for me. Maybe it's the head-bumps. So I made a female. Something just appeals about strong female characters Aayla Secura Darth Talon Asajj Ventress Sian Jiesel All pretty awesome p.s. that being said I have only once used the Flirt option (first opportunity on Coruscant) and I have no intention of starting a relationship with my male companion. And I almost always play male characters in every other game (I guess SWTOR just makes me actually care about character story/background. go figure.)
  3. I realize that, but what I'm saying is that if I want two characters with two different surnames (for the purposes of role-playing or what ever the case may be) I can't do that on the same server. So, to make that happen I would be hindering my Legacy experience. (and by experience I mean enjoyment not leveling points, though both apply)
  4. I'm neither for nor against server merges at this point. I would say do the transfers first (assuming they'll come in a giant wave initially) and then merge the servers that everybody transfers from.
  5. I probably have about 20 orange lightsabers in my cargo hold (not including the two I use as a Sentinel). I started collecting them because I was trying to find a pair that looked nice together and fit my character. I think I went with the Valorous Elite Tactician and the Elegant Focus which are identical, though the latter was technically a Consular weapon. That being said, I would love to actually choose my lightsaber for a selection of hilts. Though I think they need a 'dressing room' feature for weapons so you can actually see what the weapon looks like before equipping it.
  6. I would just like to have a surname AND a Legacy. Some characters just need last names, but does that mean you shouldn't benefit from the Legacy System if you want those names to be different?
  7. I purposely moved my knight to a different server because of the Legacy System so she wouldn't have the same surname as my Imps of various species. Being a Rutian Twi'lek and having a fondness for Aayla Secura I wanted Secura as my Legacy name, but it was already taken. I settled on my alternative Riordan (which has no reference in anything) and revised my story so that while she is still a direct ancestor of Secura, she fell in love with a man of Clan Secura, briefly 'fell' to the Dark Side due to her passion, abandoned the Order, had a baby but finally redeemed herself to the Light (not that she was really deep in the Dark Side anyways) at the cost of choosing the Order over her family and left the child to the care of the father, both of whom she never saw again. As it stands, I have no idea if I plan on making other characters under the same Legacy name or if I'll just use separate servers. As someone who does not necessarily 'role-play' but likes to create sensible backstories, I do not like the way the Legacy System is implemented.
  8. What is this character wearing and where can I get one? It looks like the Aspiring Knights Vest, but it has a furry collar or something, and the hood is up.
  9. I waited at the sandcrawler for some Imperials to arrive, then Force Jumped to the top of the sandcrawler. The 50 killed me, but I explained to him that I just wanted a lift. After that we and several other players used each other to jump up after we had fallen trying to get the second datacron. Proving once and for all that the Republic and the Empire can put aside their differences to accomplish an almost meaningless goal.
  10. I just happen to like Twi'leks, but generally only the females. Male Twi'leks just look weird. Most people that played Twi'lek and dropped it were frustrated with the hood debacle. I solved that issue by wearing an Aspiring Knight's Vest, which looks pretty awesome on my character and pretty much any female. Course it also ruins the excitement of getting new armor since I don't wear them.
  11. My sentinel is a female Rutian Twi'lek. Coz I like Aayla Secura. I mostly see body type 3 Human JKs and it's irritating. No offense to anybody that likes type 3, but everyone looking like they're on roids breaks my immersion. The only Jedi I recall with that body type was Lord Hoth. Just saying.
  12. The thing that scares me about server merges is having the same name as somebody else and ending up as "So-and-so 1" I hope the Legacy system helps alleviate this when merges eventually do happen.
  13. Got lucky and picked one up last night from a very nice Synthweaver
  14. I cannot express the feelings of joy that overwhelmed after finding this thread. I play a female Twi'lek and spent numerous hours Synthweaving to level ~120 until I could make an artifact quality Combat Synth Vest (same model as Aspiring Knight) with an augment slot. But it's only level 15 and thus very limited. Now there is hope that I can look awesome and not be gimped for my entire career. Thank you for this magnificent find! Now all we need to lekku-wrap headgear so we don't have to wear stupid hats or broken hoods.
  15. Without going through all the pages of this thread I think Twi'leks could use some more species appropriate attire that better reflects their culture. I rolled a female Rutian Twi'lek because I really like Aayla Secura, but I have had to basically gimp myself gear-wise because the only chestpiece that looks appropriate (that I've seen) is the Combat Synth Vest from Synthweaving. I agree that hoods with lekku out the back are ridiculous, but no hood is bad as well. Some have suggested having over the shoulder lekku when hoods are worn and that is a fantastic idea. Also, lekku-wraps would be cool too, as an headgear option. Aayla Secura for reference: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Aayla_Secura
