They updated the time estimates to properly reflect affection, instead of displaying the time it would take with 0 affection. Not a bug. I recommend reading the patch notes always, they can be quite helpful.

No, in fact you usually can't RE purples for a schematic. The exception is endgame mods. If you want to know the chance to get a schem from REing something, hover over it and look at the tooltip. AFAIK it's never more than 25%. Learn your green schematics, make the items and reverse them to get blues, then reverse the blues to get purples.

To clarify, it's only in Imperial Columi weapons. Reps have to buy it off the GTN unless they get a drop from the mats box. Purple has never dropped from a world boss.

I've seen an Orange crystal drop from Primal Destroyer, no dev statement needed. Never the schem though, sadly.

After SM last night I went through the first part of the instance thoroughly, up to the area with the tanks. There were a few spots where it looked like I could jump over the rocks to the surrounding area but couldn't, I think there are invisible walls. Killed all the orobirds but that didn't do anything. I'll continue looking (and in HM) ASAP.

Congrats. I've actually been doing this with +41 Magenta crystals -- fewer people are crafting them and they're being sold at a stupidly low price, so I just buy them and flip them for double. I haven't actually made any crystals myself recently.

Well if you'd been to the Czerka base and been killed by the heat source, incubating there would likely occur to you. Besides that you just need to guess that the "Refreshed and Sustained" buff would keep you refreshed and sustained while in the heat source, lol.

Oh, in that case I would guess that one is just scenery and doesn't spawn eggs.

The relevant portion of the blog post says: I was mislead by this too. It does say "some vehicles" can be resold but due to the way it is written that point is very much underemphasized. All 4 Korrealis speeders are listed together without distinction and it encourages the purchase of the discontinued speeders. Basically I can't fault any player for being confused here. BioWare should have been explicit. I love the game but this makes me sad ... I want a chance to get these speeders, so I hope they change their mind and make them BoE

There are two near the broken bridge? I only know of one. The spawn timer is 4 hours and lots of people farm them so that's probably why you're having difficulty.

This has also been asked on Arqade here. I really hope there is some truth to the main "drops in EC" rumour, it would be sad if not. I'm wondering if perhaps it has something to do with the orobirds being "missing" in HM EC (as opposed to right outside the tunnel in SM EC). Maybe they've just migrated and if you find them and their nest you get the egg, or something like that

Raider rewards are raider rewards; you don't get them if you don't raid. It's impossible for all the different components of the game (flashpoints, ops, crafting, gearing, alignment, etc. etc.) to be 100% independent and if they were then the game would be incredibly boring. As someone who participates in every aspect of the game, I'm sick of people who don't play the whole experience complaining about how it's "poorly designed". Your self-imposed rules about how you're going to play are poorly designed. I'm not saying you HAVE to be a raider, I don't care, but you should accept the results of how you choose to play. BioWare is not going to meet your every whim at the expense of everyone who's playing the full game and having fun.

This is ridiculous. If you don't like crafting, you don't have to do it; it's completely optional. If you don't want to spend the time learning how to make money, you won't make money. It's not complicated at all, it just requires slightly more effort than right-clicking resources and new schematics from the trainer.

I think the Magenta +41 Power is from Nightmare Pilgrim only. Otherwise it wouldn't be so much rarer than the Crit and End ones. And if I'm not mistaken the other daily vendors sell the color crystal schems, not just the Ilum one, and the PvP vendor has more than just yellow (overlaps slightly with the Daily vendors).

I think they might drop at random from crafting boxes but I've yet to see any hard proof. The number being sold on my server would seem to indicate that's the case, though, I can't imagine that too many people stocked up from them at the pre-1.2 vendor. You can't sell them. You get them from daily quests at Level 50 on Ilum, Belsavis, and the Black Hole area of Corellia. Some of the areas where you pick up the quests have vendors where you spend them.
