  1. OFC a terrible player don't want a damage meter. But "serious" raiding efforts require tools. Same thing about encounters like "Dreadtooth 10 stacks". Also, ppl are using parsers for fun, knowledge and competition between guildmates. For ppl who are afraid about their low damage, spend more time learning how to play instead complaining about other ppl knowing how terrible you are. Nobody expects a guardian scoring the same amount of dps than a sentinel. But if you're a sentinel and you're doing only 300dps more than a tank you have a problem. And if you're playing with more people, all the people have a problem. And that problem is you. Work for it istead looking for hide your lack of skill. In my opinion, MOX Parser makes me a better player and it's an extremely powerful tool to make the most difficult content in the game. People who complain about this is not doing this content. So their opinion isn't as important as the ppl who really need/want a damage meter.
  2. I'm agree. It's unfair and devaluates prices of luxury fabrics.
  3. Not true. The majority of crafters are people who RE'd items from another crafter. In other words, the majority of cybertechs who can craft the Skill Armoring 27 never killed Firebrand & Stormcaller in NiM. And that's one of the main problem of crafting. Leeching. So, of course they're more concerned about making money. It's a never-ending chain.
  4. Effort = Reward system is broken. That's why this game is not successful
  5. Eventually all armor pieces will be replaced by orange pieces because the content will be too easy and everybody will get these new armors. Everybody have something = not special. It's a basic concept but for some reason the ppl dont understand it.
  6. ^ This. BW should increase the reputation needed to get the rewards but not tell the players how much time they should spend playing SWTOR. They wanted it hard? Ok. Do it. But this isn't hard. This is just mommy calling "you have to stop playing". The ppl who clear all the content dont give a **** (sorry about the expression) for a 3 week farming. They can destroy Kephess in Nightmare Mode in 2 hours with no problems and their companions are full dreadguard. If you want to satisfy that people, this reputation system is not working. For the rest of the ppl (the mayority) I think they should stop crying and clear all the content before worryng about a grinding system. Reputation system is not going anywhere. This is the last resource for some people. BW and EA should have a long-term strategy but they dont. And that is a terrible thing for an MMO.
  7. Thanks recsa, you're very kind. I started to think that anybody will give me an opinion.
  8. This game has a lot of wonderous posibilities to discover.. This is an example just in Nar Shaddaa.
  9. Exactly, but if this person have to gear himself with progression, they actually have to learn how to defeat SoA before got the best gear in the game. In old times (not SWTOR) the people with the best gear killed all the bosses in progression and maybe that player was a cripple, but at least he was experienced because he did all content before the most difficult one. Progression. Progression. The carrot on a stick (gear) is the reward but it's also the way to be a better player, not only the most-geared player. And I think this game totally lacks of progression. And that's why there are so many ppl with an awesome gear but with no idea about how to play. Because, I'm an awesome Gunslinger, but I'm an horrible full campaing/dreadguard tank with my guardian alter because I never tank in a operation. And of course, the 1st time will be not Karaggas or EV. It will be TFB HM or EC NiM. Why do so many content if new ppl never have to play it? No sense. Progression is the solution.
  10. Hello ladies and gentleman. These last few days I've been making my first machinima trying to learn how to edit a video. And I really want to share the result with you. http://i.imgur.com/uoTQ3HI.png presents: 720p and 1080p available http://i.imgur.com/6ArVdOt.png --- Habana is a young, pretty and clever gunslinger. But in one of her normal trips to Nar Shaddaa things get complicated. The smuggling and partying on the moon it's getting harder and she try to adapt as well as she can looking, learning and being part of the corrupted Nar Shaddaa Way of Life. --- http://i.imgur.com/4NiuBhg.png I hope you like Vice Lover as much as I enjoyed making it. Also, I've too much to learn still so I promise more and better movies Any comments are much appreciated. Preferably on the youtube comments space or here in the forums. 720p and 1080p available Thanks for your time and attention. Again, I hope you like it!
  11. 4 days at lvl50 with my Jedi Guardian. Full Black Hole/Dreadguard Yeah, get geared for pve it's soooooo hard.... jesus. Hello, my name is GTN and here's my cousin, the Legacy Gear !
  12. They should cap the amount of times you can send your companions to crew skill missions. Because if they play more, they can make more credits than others. It's the same point. And it's ridicolus as well. In this game people pay for a full-time subscription so i don't understand the reason for limitations like this. If you are afraid about people completing reputations in a month, increase the number of rep points to gain. But if you tell the people "you can only play 2 times a week, to clear operations, do your reputation cap and see you next week" eventually the people will decide to invest their time in other activities, not because they don't like the game, because BW are telling them YOU CANT PLAY THAT MUCH. And I've already a mother. Hello, this in an MMO. The main feature of this genre is allow the player to maximice their experience as they want in a persistent world. BW, I think it's enough with the short operations between months to also add this. There some kind of players who not enjoy stand on the fleet looking fancy armors and lightsaber colors. This is not Barbie Fashion MMO. We need things to do.
  13. Limit the reputation gained by week is the best idea ever. Because i don't want to compete with anyone. Please BioWare, put a time limit to spend in Operations. For the same reason. And also, put a cap in the number of times you can send your companions to do crew skills. Because if a person spends 6 hours playing he can make more money than me. /irony NO CAP. I'm a suscriber. NO CAP. Freedom for the people.
  14. Sorry, but this is CRAP. You're determined to make all players equal by the minimum. - "I want the best gear without working hard and nightmare operations" - Dont worry! here, your BiS in GTN! - "Also, the best crafter" - Steal recipes from GTN too if you want! - MOMMY! That kid it's spending too much time and effort grinding reputation and I want the same NOW - Prepare for FARMING CAP! BioWare decides how much time you need to play. Seriously. Really? Really??? BioWare, please. If you're determined to ruin any kind of PvE competition at all. Make an announcement at say it clear. Say "WE DONT BELIEVE IN THE EFFORT-REWARD SYSTEM" "WE'RE COMMUNIST". And it's ok. But this is a joke. All our guild hopes were in the reputation system because we're grinding TFB HM and Denova Nighmare on Tuesdays, to gear our alters (our 2nd or 3rd alter i mean) and we need things to do. And now, you decide for us how much time we can play. It's not fair and this is a mistake. You need to recalibrate your long-term strategy and you need to put a carrot in the stick to this game because every game needs to be competitive. Specially an MMO, the genre with the most pronounced effort-reward ecuation. If you expect from us to stay quiet in the fleet, showing our fancy lasers, mounts and armor from Cartel Market. Just say it. I understand the casual way of life. But is not mine. Just say it.
