  1. True that. I usually go for the grav round/tracer missile spammers because they're such an easy kill. I just interrupt one of them and most of the time they stand there complete clueless about what happened. Once they start spamming again I throw in a flashbang and finish them off.
  2. Bull.. Turrets point middle from the beginning. They aren't pointing towards any ship. I don't know who came up with this story, but it's wrong. Checked so myself countless of times when flying to the start point.
  3. OP is actually correct. Over the last few weeks we've wiped several times on boss fights when using the same mechanic. After a patch suddenly the fight used a different mechanic without anything in the patch notes. Now usually I don't have a problem with such a thing, but with the repair costs I do.
  4. What I like: - Balanced groups against each other What I dont like: - 6 healers in the opposing team - Force users in Huttball (pulling, sprinting, whatever) - Premades
  5. It's a deserter debuff you get in the starter area of the Warzone, it's been there since release.
  6. Of course, the core of the problem is not about people leaving warzones and punishing their team. The course and reason for a thread like this is because premade groups don't get their dailies done because of this. Same excuse that premade is all about "playing with friends". It isn't about playing with friends, it's about easy winning.
  7. Adding a deserter debuff won't fix the core of the problem. The core of the problem is the reason why people leave warzones. It's when the favors are highly against them. You can see it happening when everybody just gets stomped by the opposing team without having a feeling of doing any damage at all. It happens when the opposing team consists of 4 healers and other random classes, or when there's a premade with a couple of force players swiftly scoring in Huttball. I think they should add a separate queue for premades and base the warzones on valor rank. Also balance the classes so that you can't have 4 healers in one team for example.
  8. I find it even more funny that we Imperials can do this as well with the BH.
  9. How are you going to check if someone joining your mumble server is Republic or Empire?
  10. Well we Imperials just try to match the actual story of Star Wars, so that's why we outnumber the Republic.
  11. You forgot to add 'L2P'.
  12. I think this is really dependent on which server you play. I myself play on Frostclaw and completing the daily doesn't take more then 30 minutes. During the evenings there's a big group of Republic and Imperial people. We usually fight at the center assault, but depending on who is winning we move either north or south. There's always a few guys trying to take the other control points for the valor buff and when we Imperials control Ilum then we push al the way south to the Republic base and have a massive fight there. It's a lot of fun and the battle moves a lot around the map.
  13. The mentioned note is now on the test server and not live yet.
  14. I play a sniper myself and don't recognize any of the problems I read in this thread. The cover system is fine; if you don't want to roll into a cover spot then just use crouch (Shift + F). I don't have problems with most classes, unless I've got multiple people focusing fire on me. Most of the time I'm top kills in PVP.
  15. Pointless thread, I don't see how it matters what faction you play. There's good/bad players on both sides.
  16. I'm an agent and I always imagine the Benny Hill music when there's someone rotating around me. Once I have them targeted while I'm in cover it doesn't matter what they do, I will always hit them. Anyway, I just kill them off and laugh at them for moving around like an idiot.
  17. Trooper Grav round Grav round Grav round Grav round Grav round Grav round You get the point.

    Cancelled:RIP TOR

You know I'm so fed up with you spoiled little kids crying over every little thing that goes wrong. The game has just been up for a month, you can't expect everything to go silky smooth from the beginning. Be realistic. Anyway, I say good riddance.

    LTB Better NPC's

Maybe blue is not the best color to choose when the background is blue as well.
  20. I think you missread my post, because it's not meant as a 'cry'. I don't see why some classes should have a greater advantage over others when they carry the ball. Huttball is a team game, the ball carrier should be defended by his team until he passes the finishing line. Any ability which gives greater movement speed or allows you to jump forward a few meters is unfair in terms of balance. Anybody disagreeing with this is basically supporting the opposite; let's allow people to go into stealth as well when they have the ball.
  21. Actually I don't have problems with such a thing. It encourages teamwork that way and you have a chance to take over the ball when it's being tossed. Right now any class being able to use force leap or charge while carrying the ball doesn't need anyone else to score.
  22. I always give MVP's to healers, they're gimped on killing so they need it
  23. I disagree on this part. It would make it too easy to get the ball across for some classes. Right now I only see a problem with abilities which allow the user to move at a greater speed or jump to some place. The same goes for force pull. All these abilities give a too great advantage. If you are immune to everything then why would you pass the ball. You can just take a walk to the scoring line through the fire pits.
