Buy normal comms from the ranked ones and use those to buy the BM gear. You need it anyway if you want to get WH gear.

The root of your problem.

Best team setup: 6 Marauders + 2 healers. Guaranteed win! You can't burst healers down anymore in 1.3 since Bioware has this weird vision of 'sustained damage'. PVP isn't about sustained damage, you need to be able to burst down enemies otherwise you're screwed.

While you're at it, please buff Orbital strikes as well. People can walk away from it.. I think people should be rooted for the full duration.

You either take Biochem for the stim and the medpac or Cybertech for the freeze bomb/grenades. With Biochem you can also craft WZ adrenal which reduces incoming damage. It is however cheaper to buy them directly since it requires you to buy PVP crafting material for a larger amount of WZ comms.

I'm not expecting them to take the servers down as an emergency, but hopefully they fix it before the end of next week. The bug is extremely annoying, especially in PVP.

Any knock backs or stuff that sends you flying like the vents in Huttball are broken. Most of the time people appear to be teleporting around the map in such a situation. Same goes for mobs, they start teleporting when you KB them. Confirmed by several guild members.

Interesting.. I was just looking up some pics of the Alderaan Civil War map and it appears the map does flip. It's not only the minimap that flips, but the world map as well. The western turret for the Imps is east for the Reps. It's going to be fun tomorrow night

Strange argument.. let's compare it to PVE. How would the raid leader respond when you show up in green gear at a raid? I'm thinking something between the lines of "G T F O". How hard is it to get some basic gear to start a raid? Get some orange gear and buy the mods from the Belsavis dailies. In PVP it's exactly the same. You can buy the recruit gear and start PVPing (or even loot some parts from Tatooine). Nobody in their right mind shows up with green gear. It's an insult to your team members, because you're joining to be carried along. However you put it there will always be a 'grind' in some sort, because you want progression. Progression isn't handed to you on a platter, you have to work for it.

I hope with 1.3 and ranked WZ's people will get -10.000 Warzone rating for not knowing where east/west is. It doesn't matter if you spend half of the Warzone doing circles; west will still be west and east will still be east.

Truth be told I always use cardinal directions. I'm still trying to find a vote button for people who ask me which way I'm facing when saying east.

When I started PVPing I expected to get killed really easy, since I was a newcomer without good gear. After a few weeks I started gearing up and I was harder to kill. It's all about what you expect when entering PVP for the first time. You have to adjust your playstyle according to that and you can't expect to actually achieve something in a WZ all by yourself when just starting. You have to accept that you're going to die a lot in the first few weeks,

The points on the map actually have official names (hover your mouse over the turret icons on the top right of your screen). The turret east is called the Generator site and the one west Crash site.

I'm experiencing this as well and I always get the same reply when making a ticket. Just keep reporting it until they go crazy and fix it.

I think you'd be better off posting this on the PTS forum. I don't think BW reads the feedback here as much as on the PTS.

The entire legacy system is a bit underwhelming if you ask me. I haven't purchase a single Legacy thing because of the absurd costs. Bioware was so proud presenting it, but to me it was a major disappointment seeing the money costs.

Back in the Ilum days reps always said it was due to us outnumbering them. Back then I wasn't convinced and I'm still not convinced. I think the general bad boy attitude with the Imps attracts a different type of players. Players who succeed more in PVP. There are exceptions however.

Interesting.. would be nice to have a stasis chamber on the fleet or on your ship. In this stasis chamber buffs should freeze and your character should be unable to move.
