  1. My intention here is to be constructive, not ask Bioware to redo the game. I see many people asking for something to improve, and make open world pvp happen, but we should develop our ideas, maybe suggesting something, and not hoping for a miracle. About players choosing the stronger side, I know it happens, but how other MMOs have it then? I believe its not a decisive issue. If the issue is lack of reward, other than having fun, we talked about something like valor. Its a start. What I think its wrong is people who doesn't care for pvp, or don't wanna help, coming here and saying "let it go". Its almost an excuse to keep complaining instead of suggesting and try to make things better.
  2. How about instead of asking for something, we give more specific ideas? Maybe it would be more effective. Lets try to suggest what we would like to see then. And maybe not thinking about Ilum, since I believe thats a dead end. Lets think about open world pvp any time, any place.
  3. Ok, it would be nice to have something, like valor, as you said. But lets think here. Would Bioware develop something like that if people are not pvping? I find it hard to believe. Why invest in something that is not being used? My point is, we, who like pvping, should start doing it, so features like these would be implemented. The way I see it, we players should lead the game towards what we want it to be.
  4. Hey guys! After almost 1 year without playing, I'm coming back. Many people will wonder that I left because off the lack off open world pvp, considering this title, but that not the case. To the point then, is there still a lack of open world pvp? I was reading some posts here, and something called my attention. People don't go to pvp because there's no reward? Really? I mean, normally when I (and I will emphasize the "I") play a MMO, I lvl up, get better gear and stuff, so I can have fun in pvp. After all, the reward for pvp is the fun. Is there anyone here who thinks like I do?
  5. I play from Brazil, in the Tomb of Freedon Nadd server.
  6. I have played UO, Lineage, WOW, among other, and content was never a problem. Even for hardcore players, the idea was to have fun, and to have to fun, we would unite and battle. Today I became a casual player, cause I played TOR since lauch, and I dont have any lvl 50 character. I'm not focusing in just one character, Im enjoying the history and exploring places, but, thats my way of playing until Im lvl 50. Then, I intend to find players like me, and try to have fun.
  7. Well, I don't get it. I have never seen a MMO with that much content as you guys demand. Seriously. If you played other MMOs, what the heck did you do in game? If players feel like they have nothing to do in game, gather a buch of unoccupied players, go to some place, and defy the other faction to battle you. In MMOs we gotta make the game happens, if you want the game to happen to you, then I agree with a post here, and say that MMOs might not be for these kind of thirsty for content players.
  8. I agree. This balanced are only bigger WZ. I am early in the game....then, I don't if its possible.... Players should be able to organize on their own and attack empire/republic planets, as it happens in other MMOs. It would make the game more real, considering that republic and empire are at war. Of coarse, regular events to gather more people to attack, or defend some places, would be fun as well, but I think it needs both things. Another fun thing would be to allow space combat pvp...
  9. You guys complain and complain about answers like "Soon" and "Early Summer". But we should think, what would we do if we were at BW? For anyone who deals with Software/Gaming development, knows how it can be difficult to give an accurate estimate about something to be implemented. They are probably making further analysis, defining rules and impacts for these changes. Any of you know the impact transfers and merge might have in the game code and infrastructure? Well, I don't. So I hope they study these well, to avoid problems.Sometimes things don't go as planned. And for "early summer" location doubts, I guess they refer to summer where they are, in that case, I guess USA. Anyway, I am confident BW will provide us with the proper solution to this, let's just give then some time.
