  1. This happened to my wife as well- and she then subscribed and she is now lvl59.
  2. Thanks for the reply it explained alot. I was wondering why both my jedi and bh had no expertise on any of the mods, I thought I had lost them lol. Both are war hero, so tyvm it helped alot. Does wz coms still cap at 2750?
  3. Ive just returned after 6-7 months of not playing. When I logged on my lvl 50 toon I wanted to see all the changes and noticed alot. 1st was pvp gear... is there a vendor/gear for 50-55 ? 2nd was no ranked wz's or am I missing something? 3rd was all the new content.... Not sure where to start? Any help or guidance on all the changes would be appreciated

  5. I also bought this game as an mmo, not a console game with map packs that cost a monthly fee... As well the devs advertised this as a game to appease both pvers and pvpers.... To those who said pvpers take games too seriously, no.... We take our money seriously.... If im going to pay for a game or any product it has to be satisfying... Swtor is satisfying but becomes stale at level cap.... Even on the pve side, running the same ops fps over and over gets boring, that is why some sandbox elements would eleviate devs from having to generate constant content, because sandbox leaves it open to the player, creating their own content
  6. Wow i find it funny the hatred pvers have towards pvpers.... If you take out the "tiny" amount of pvp this game has, this game would die so fast... No matter how much you pvers hate pvp, without pvp this game is nothing more than a single player console game with co op mode that you pay $15 a month for... Makes no sense... And to those saying pvpers whinning over no content for 4,5,6,7,8,9 weeks, no one has complained over that time frame, its been over 4 months for content as well 6 months ago they said owpvp was being worked on... I could care less if my toon can smile or frown, nor do ops,fps interest me.... 4 wzs is the only source of pvp (enjoyment for me) we have and it gets old playing them over and over... I feel ya op
  7. Good point, forgot to mention that and the ability to switch between those specs anytime
  8. Assuming u know what a rift is: Pvp rifts Raid rifts Conquest Expert dungeons Pvp dailies which create owpvp Owpvp (isnt a whole lot right now but is consistent) Warfronts Endgame crafting Crafting rifts Not to include the new expansion getting ready to drop that is 3xs the amount of existing content which also adds player housing
  9. Sorry, gcw was galactic civil war: faction points/tokens and planetary points for enemy faction kills both npc or players and total control over the galaxy.... You could log on to swg and be in mos eisley and at that moment it was imperial controlled with imperial npcs roaming and patrolling then it could quickly change to rebel controlled coz rebel players were racking up planetary points from killing npc and players.... Guild wars: guilds could declare war on each other in be in constant state of war, and invade guild cities in which the guilds had built defenses. Bounty hunting: everytime a player was kilked by another player you had the option to place a bounty on the player, then another player could get the bounty of a terminal and hunt that player for pay. There were bases that were aligned to the factions and players would raid those bases destroying them thus uping their control over the galaxy. City invasions: every 3 hours a city was invaded by enemy npcs and your faction would be asked to defend or attack said city which was a pve/pvp event that happened like i said every 3 hours. Not to mention items decayed making crafters important.... There was plenty to do in swg
  10. I cant say anythibg about wow since i dont play it, but i can speak of end game of swtor, rift and swg.... Swtor is over once youre geared out unless you like running the same ops/fps/wzs that you ran to get geared out... Rift the game actually starts at level 50, so much to do its overwhelming and can leave a player confused on where to start... Swg was a end game focused game.... Once you were geared out is when the real fun began, owpvp was every, gcw, guild wars, bounty hunting, factional base raids, city invasions, space pvp and the list goes on.... And we didnt have to wait for a que to put together a group, as soon as i logged on there were many group invites coz there was always a battle going on somewhere.... I love swtor but i havent played in over a month coz i have nothing to do
  11. i agree 100%.... And if swtor added something like the gcw/owpvp this game would dominate
  12. Three months ago in a q&a, gabe answered my question about open world pvp and its future... He said they were working on it and coming soon.... Is there anything in 1.4 for pvpers? Or must we wait til january?
  13. Swtors combat mechanics and animations are far more superior, but swgs pvp existed in the form of open world and could be found everywhere, gcw gave meaning to pvp, as well no divide between class or gear... I would take inferior combat mechanics and animation and viable owpvp over great mechanics, animation and instanced map packs any day
