  1. I have to agree, I have an HD4650 and it runs the game no problem. Im sorry but an on board graphics chip especially an outdated 4200 series is in no way going to run this game properly
  2. I think a LOT of the issues can be summed up right there. That and the PVP crowd pretty much screaming for blood over there 1 second delay
  3. Only problem I have had was a graphics glitch on my cyborg smuggler that makes his implants freak out and look like they are cutting into his skin or something and bouncing around. But I fixed it. My fix? Put a helmet on him
  4. Of course they are going to complain about this issue, just as the PVPers have there issue and the Questers have there zone death issue. Basic fact of the matter is that each group of "Gamers" are going to have something they don't agree with. Just because it isn't important to your play style doesn't make it important to another person's. That's like me going to the PVPers and telling them to go back to WOW, or telling the Questers to go back to FF11 or something.
  5. I have my Bio available on request! Unfortunately no one has requested it yet... LOL
  6. Obviously you have yet to see the hundreds of pages of PVPers complaining endlessly about there "1 second delay when using abilitys in PVP" problem. I personally think that roleplayers keep a lot of stuff to themselves simply BECAUSE they can use there imaginations.
  7. That I will admit is slightly surprising, I believe most of these issues would resolve themselves if we had a simple "sleep" animation, then you could just stand on the bed and use it. I for one just stand on a chair and use the sit command then it looks like my character is sitting in the chair.
  8. Is there no command to make your character lay down? I am unfamiliar with the command list
  9. Coming from doing much the same in regard to RPing I do agree that visualization is not necessary but it is fun. That being said, I have to think from a developers standpoint. Roleplayers unfortunately are a minority when it comes to MMO's. In the grand scheme of things they have to appeal to a larger target audience and to spend the many man-hours to code in aspects to a game that only a small percentage are going to enjoy doesn't make sense from the business standpoint. This is of course myself simply speculating, but in the entire time I have been playing on a RP server I have yet to only run into 1 instance of a pair of characters RPing. Maybe it is taking place in more private locals and I am simply wrong, who knows.
  10. I believe it is hard to judge a game and make a long term sustainability guess on only 3 weeks of it going live. IE: the first gen Iphone was plagued with problems the first couple weeks of its launch, yet is still a successful device long term due to developers making sure the bugs and problems were addressed. So far every week I have seen a patch addressing problems people are having obviously they are not able to wave a magic wand and fix everything, but these things take time. I give the game 3 months, if serious bugs are not addressed by then, well then obviously we have our answer.
  11. I would have to agree Ultima Online was just plain awesome when it came out. Second best I would have to give to Eve Online and not because I played it but because it allowed a guy to form one of the most successful Bank Corporations in the game worth over thousands of real world dollars. Then said guy logged on one day and ROBBED it blind, used the money to purchase the most powerful ship he could, put a huge bounty on his own head and rode off into the great unknown DARING people to come after him... That right there is just the pinnacle of awesome in my book, and being a complete jerk
  12. I think we need to bring back McGruff the Crime Dog
  13. I used to play a mean game of Pong, can I be a true gamer now? In all honesty if that video represents what people consider a "true gamer" then no thank you, I prefer to have a good time with my friends online. I could care less if someone else calls a game crap or not as long as it entertains me. Best game I have ever played? The web game for How to train your Dragon and you want to know why? because the smile it gave my 6 year old son while we played it together means more to me than "dominating in PVP or gaming" but apparently I AM the one who has his priority's wrong according to "True Gamers"
  14. I would take anything written by an employee on the verge of being fired with a grain of salt.
