  1. I would pay a tax to always move at Razor Kickstart speed.
  2. I support the new travel fee and I'm extremely curious how many credits this is removing the first week of release.
  3. so the current state of SWTOR's credit economy is hyper-inflation due to there not being enough credit sinks in the game for years... and your fix for this is to remove more credit sinks to save the "new players" and that you can not stand being nickeled and dimed?
  4. Why would you want to remove another possible credit sink from the game?
  5. it is a credit sink. We already have these when we travel between planets or use speeders (speeders are much cheaper though). Most MMOs use credit sinks liberally to fight inflation. Credit sinks alone do not fix inflation issues, but they help lower the rate at which inflation increases in the games economy. Every MMO I have played has tiny credit sinks like this for traveling. I was shocked to find I could travel around instantly for free in this game. I guess having almost no credit sinks in the game is why inflation is so high and simple cosmetics from the GTN cost hundreds of millions if not billions of credits. Do you want credit sinks that have very little individual impact but reduce inflation by billions a day or do you want inflation to keep increasing until credits are completely worthless?
  6. if I sit down to play SWTOR I shouldn't have a back up form of entertainment to wait out a mission timer of 10 minutes when I have to do 4 of these "meditation" sessions (or more if you are the only one doing this).
  7. First, meditating is a waste of 2 minutes staring at your screen while your character does nothing. This is not fun or engaging. Second, you add a 10 minute cooldown on "meditation". The only reason this exists is to try and get people to unlock Amity account wide so other characters can meditate skipping the 10 minute cooldown. And you have to mediate 4 times? SWTOR is now using mobile game tactics to keep players "engaged" and spending CC to bypass the 10 minute cooldown. What other mobile game tactics have you woven into Galactic Season 4?
  8. would be great if there was one hook and you could place any item on that hook. There would be a limit to how many items you can place in a stronghold, but there are no more hook sizes limiting what goes where.
  9. imagine if dyes could be stored like crafting reagents. Legacy wide access and stacking.
  10. so you don't know what function a credit sink does in an MMO? Understood. No point in discussing this with you then.
  11. credit sinks are about combating inflation not single-handedly fixing inflation. This is where so many people get hung up. A lot of people here think there is an instant fix for inflation. Bioware can add one credit sink to instantly fix a decade of inflation and years of ignoring credit sinks. It is going to take a lot of different credit sinks, careful monitoring of the credit economy, removing the influx of from certain activities and time to fix the economy. Credit sinks only combat inflation, they don't fix inflation.
  12. and crafted dyes. Let them stack like Augment Kits.
  13. only the Galactic Season dyes stack so far and max size per stack is 10.
  14. Isn't the PvP Arena weekly 24 arenas? I always looked at that and noped out of there. oh you mean play to the best of my ability
  15. if you listen carefully you can hear the laughter of Darth Baras coming through the mailbox
  16. You will start to be able to buy unlocks via credits half way (?) through the season and the option will increase 1 week every week until the max unlock of rank 95 is reached. At that rank 95 you will have to finish off the last 5 levels on your own.
  17. sorry, meant the personal credit cap of 4.29 billion credits.
  18. this could work out for preferred players in the long run. They can now keep withdrawing 1 million at a time from mail and depositing that 1 million into the legacy bank until they withdraw all the credits in the mail. Previously it just deleted the excess credits once you hit the personal credit cap.
  19. I wish this was an option in chat like General Chat, Trade Chat, and PvP Chat. Something we could toggle to access the gen chat on specific worlds. I now only use the capitol world and fleet strongholds because every other world is dead. I see we have a new Mek-sha stronghold but honestly I would never use it due to the lack of active chat on Mek-sha.
  20. or tax any credit transfers between accounts 8% like the GTN. This way websites that sell credits will automatically lose 8% of the credits they transfer and people selling outside of the GTN, if the devs can't raise the limit due to technical difficulty, will still be taxed. Part of the issue in SWTOR is there are dozens of different currencies in the game and the only tradable currency, credits, has been ignored for years.
  21. you can test damage using the training dummies on fleet or on your ship.
  22. That's awesome. I have a pretty stable connection but sometimes I still get disconnected. Nice that I'll suffer at most a 5 minute time out my first time. is the lock out timer reset every 24 hours?
  23. I'm getting more strongholds but I'm noticing one thing, chat is dead except for the capital worlds and fleet. Is there a way to access those chat channels from my strongholds from less populated planets. I really like a lot of the strongholds but having zero chat makes them very boring to use.
