  1. I love all the suggestions! Especially the Emotes pack, though I'm not a game developer so I have no idea the feasibility. Creating your own "NPCs" (I'm assuming personnel decorations?) for strongholds would also be cool, though I'd only spend CCs on a one-time "creator" deco, not CCs for each individual NPC.
  2. The Voss Interpreter's Retreat is one. It's also missing defeat enemies objectives; either add an objective for Interpreter's Retreat: Defeat Enemies 1 & 2 or make kills in the Interpreter's Retreat count toward Voss: Defeat Enemies 1 &2. (The former is preferable, since it aligns with how Belsavis & Section X have different defeat enemies objectives, as do Corellia & the Black Hole.)
  3. I might have misnamed them. I'm not talking about the giant 200k+ from Missions Taskmaster Eternal, I'm just talking about the regular 26k-ish Taskmaster currently available from levels 10-71. For the rampage, I was thinking of the one that's 60k for the initial 200 kills, then like 20k daily for 200 kills after that.
  4. Why are the devs incapable of doing math? Seriously, this does not make up for the amount of conquest points lost from reputation (and no, your "Galactic Seasons conquest objectives" do not count because they are not alt-friendly since you can't choose which character you'll get them on). As many others have pointed out, both in the earlier thread and this one (do you listen? do you read? evidently not), make Taskmaster or Galactic Rampage available all weeks, on characters of all levels. Do the math and give us an amount of conquest equal to the amount you took away. Listen to your players, lest we all leave.
  5. @EricMusco Some things to consider as you reinstate at least SOME THINGS that give AS MUCH IF NOT MORE CONQUEST than the nerfed reputation: Everyone's points above about how making it more difficult to complete conquest decreases the desire to use alts, which in turn decreases the demand for cosmetic items Did anyone on the team actually do math here? Reputation was worth 43k; a new objective for gaining a GS level gives 10k, and a new WEEKLY objective for completing GS objectives gives 22k. 22k+10k + 8k =/= 43k. In fact, 10k + 8k =/= 43k would be a more accurate assessment, since the 22k "complete 4 GS objectives" is a weekly, not daily repeatable. This stealth nerf removed 25k conquest points per day, with nothing in its place. In no circumstance is this equivalent or acceptable. Conquest has been forgotten a lot since 7.0. This thread brings up another good point: there are ZERO conquest objectives for the Interpreter's Retreat and Kessan's Landing, the two newest daily areas. Where's the incentive to play these areas if I'm wasting my time getting ZERO conquest? It's nonexistant, and it's caused me to not care about playing the latest stories. I'd play them in a heartbeat if I could actually get rewards from it (as you can with the weekly and daily missions in literally every other daily area: Ossus, Onderon, Ruhnuk, Manaan, etc.) https://forums.swtor.com/topic/933803-no-conquest-objectives-for-interpreters-or-kessans-intentional/ I hope that you take all 3 of these points and use them to ensure that SWtOR's conquest system -- the grinding system designed to keep people playing -- survives this update and all future expansions.
  6. This is the most succinct and useful idea regarding conquest I've ever seen. It should be pinned to the top of this thread and the devs should follow it exactly. You laid out the consequences of conquest nerfs to both players AND Broadsword's income source, and followed it up with practical solutions. I salute you, good sir. I name you Emperor/Supreme Chancellor of Conquest.
  7. Honestly. I think the devs need to join some guild discord servers or something, it would help them learn what the playerbase is actually interested in buying. Reminds me of this past Christmas, when they tried to say, "we're not having a collections sale this year, but we are putting a bunch of CM items on sale!" and all the players were like, "...we spend more CCs on unlocks than we do on actual items??" There's such a disconnect between the devs and the players right now. I wonder if it's a side effect of the dev team drastically shrinking with the switch from Bioware to Broadsword -- not enough staff to monitor the playerbase, perhaps?
  8. @JackieKo @JoeStramaglia Can we get clarification on what "New Fitted equipment is a bit over-represented in world drops and treasure hunting boxes are affected as a result." is actually going to mean? Specifically, an answer to the purpose of this thread -- will Systech gear still be dropping at all? Will Noble Decurion gear still be the reward from Daily Area & Heroic Weekly missions? I like being able to get those old styles with the Fitted gear, but my appreciation for that is far, FAR outweighed by my frustration that I've lost a major source of jawa junk and gear currencies (tech frags and WZ-1s from blue/purple Systech pieces). Please add back all Systech & Noble Decurion drops/rewards, and just make Fitted gear an ADDITION, not a REPLACEMENT.
  9. Oh, that's just wonderful. They added that after this whole thread popped off. I searched the patch notes when this thread was first started (even did Ctrl + F in case I missed one) and this was not mentioned. They back-added this. Wow, what a move, devs, you can't even own up to your BS.
  10. @JackieKo Can the devs explain why such major changes are implemented with zero mention of the change in patch notes or any dev posts? Not to say the classic phrase, but this is a choice that seems designed to kill the game. Conquest is a major reason for people to play, and making a MASSIVE change (seriously, that's half a character's conquest target!) like this with no prior notice seems like a) a coding error or b) an active attempt to hurt the playerbase. If this stays, I'll be cutting my playtime significantly. Myself and 2 friends run a guild together, and we play a lot with the express purpose of getting large yield conquest by ourselves. That will be impossible with this change. Without the incentive to get 5mil each week, I'll be spending a significant portion of my SWtOR time playing other games instead.
  11. I've only been playing for 3 years, but I thought 50% was the standard? Every Christmas, unlocks are half the price they were normally. This is what they mean by 50% unlock sale, right?
  12. Getting rid of the collection unlock sale is a bad move. It's something long-established in the game, and I'm sure it's because Broadsword wants to make more money, but yikes, getting rid of something that happens every year? Bad choice. I usually buy CCs around the holidays to fund my unlocks. I won't be buying any CCs this year -- don't care about the sales. Rethink this.
  13. I was very disappointed to see the change went unannounced. I did the opposite of Stroganoff -- I didn't play much PvP seasons because I already had "The Unstoppable Force" from crafting, and didn't want to waste my time grinding for a title I already had. However, I have a character I'd love to put The Final Bastion on... and now I have to grind twice as fast, because the devs didn't mention they were going to change the reward title anywhere. I'm concerned about the lack of communication regarding many changes. It feels like communication to players has decreased drastically since Broadsword. Bugs happen, but was it really too much to ask a dev to say, "we're going to change the PvP S3 reward title since it is currently a duplicate" as soon as they noticed the duplicate?
  14. I loved the taxing idea at first, since trading high-level items is usually used to get around using the GTN. Seeing exactly how much the taxes are, though? Yikes. I'm a raider, so trading individual stims/adrenals/medpacs is a daily occurrence. Taxing these items will destroy that. I'm one of the people who always has less than half a billion credits (sitting at 120million right now), and I can tell you I will never give a friend stims again if I have to pay a million per. These aren't items that people are trying to make money off of -- same with grenades and other single-use combat items. If you really want, you can keep the tax on the reusable biochem items, but for the sake of everyone who tries to raid with friends, please please please remove the tax on the single-use ones. Just... think about who these taxes hurt most. Taxing Cartel Market items makes perfect sense. But let us actually play the content (PvP or Ops) of the game without being punished.
