He is talking about standing on the ball stand at mid-field, and they put that in like 1.2 or something to stop people from standing inside the stand because they could not be targeted and thus could get the ball and run without interferrence.

The reason they have not and will not put anything in the VIP vendor is because it doesn't make them any money to put any new items there for the people that have already paid for the CE, pure and simple, CM makes them money, that is where the focus is and will be.

EAware's patch today of 1.7.2 is like your significant other coming and telling you they have the herps and have had them for the last year and didn't tell you about it until now, "yeah I didn't think you would really mind that I didn't tell you until now, whats the big deal ? its just herpes" lol.

I was talking about the speed difference as the person I quoted said the Tank from NiM EC was better, sure protection knock off is (for now) but the speed is 20% less, I was trying to put it into simple terms that make sense to him, such as using 90% and 110% in the same sentence so he could see the two numbers and the 20% difference.

No it doesn't, the Podracer offers Tier 4 protection, the Refer a friend speeder (I have one as well) is tier 3 protection.

So how bout they add new stuff that people want through new content ? I mean have looked at the armors for the new 55 gear ? I would rather have it look like the new CM stuff than it currently is going too, if they worked on adding new content to give things that people wanted rather than dumping it in the cash market they would maintain a player base over a longer period of time I bet.

You mean the Podracer that has better protection than any other speeder that has 110% mount speed ? that they put in the CM after they said "yeah we aren't going to make this P2W, its just going to be cosmetic stuff" beyond that there isn't much, except BiS crystals that can be used at lvl 10, and again I didn't say there was, but I bet in the next 6 months to a year as they continue to hemmorage subs over their horrible dev and community relations on this game they will start to add things like that, its painfully obvious that they are just pushing to see how much they can get away with over the next 6 months to a year.

And then what happens when they put a BiS item in the list of items one of these new rep vendors give, or a speeder like the one from EC NiM but with 110% speed or the Podracer from the CM or the various codex entries in their new "Achievements" system that are not achievable without spending milliions of hard earned in game credits or your own money ? This is just a sign of the way the game is going to go, it isn't star wars anymore, its P2W WoW with Lightsabers.

Well said, I totally agree, I'm a huge SW fan and really "liked" this game the last year or so, but as the CM keeps progressing my desire to play WoW with lightsabers is slowly dropping to point of looking for other things to play/sub too.

I have a feeling this will be a breaking point for a lot of the hardcore players such as myself, I imagine they will lose a lot of subs over this as it just a sign of the way things are going to continue to go with this game.

Yes but buying a car you know the car maker is going to put out a new car each year, buying packs off the CM never had an expectation that we could only get something (rep items) from the packs they introduced that plays into their new rep system ( a core part of the legacy system now), it was all cosmetic, buff items or speeders, not bound rep items (which for other factions are obtained through quests and playable game content) that will in turn be needed for codex/game completition when they put the achievements system into the game in 2.0.

I agree, this is just a slap in the face to the people who wanted to spend their hard earned money on packs prior to 1.7.2, and then the audacity to demand more money for items to reward "the people who buy stuff" or however their CSR spun it, how bout the money we already spent in the last 3-4 months of the cash cow market.

This may have already been said because I don't have time to go through all 31 pages of rage about this new setup, but what about the people like myself that have already spent hundreds/possibly thousands of dollars(no I have not spent thousands but I bet some people have) on cartel store items/packs ? pretty piss poor idea to do this now, should have been the intiail packs or perhaps the users should have been told that something like this was coming so we would wait, rather than buy the earlier packs and just get a slap in the face later for spending our hard earned money on the CM.

My guild that I have built up doesn't give access to anything of value in the guild vaults to anyone other than me, my sister and cousin who are all co leaders, much simpler than worrying about being ripped off, we just let people ask us if they need something out of the restricted tabs and we will send it to them.

Yeah it was like the person that was in charge of deciding what names were prohibited didn't know anything about SW and just did a google search for the the 25 most popular Star Wars names and used that as their list, then someone with half a brain later on was like, yeah... we need to add every name from pop culture and anything ever mentioned in anything Star Wars related lol.

If you are buying a prebuilt pc from best buy and specifically an ibuypower then you won't notice any difference between the two cards, someone building their own system might see a slight difference but it usually becomes personal preference at that point.

I would have to disagree with you on that one, my first two 50's I did the dallies on them every day, would maybe go up half a level of legacy xp if even that, leveled a few new toons up 10 levels in a day or 2 and I would get 2-3 bars of legacy xp till I hit legacy 40 or so.

Yeah I was pretty annoyed when I had to rename 7 of my 8 characters twice as I lost all of the names on both merges except for my one toon that is actually using a name of a SW char from the EU which I know is a violation of the ToS but they haven't told me I have to change it yet, pretty funny they enforce names from Batman comics but let me keep my char's name from their own EU.

Just ask the OP leader or person that invited you before you progress into the raid what they do for loot drops, most guilds will tell you right up front how they like to do it, if its an all pug group then be prepared to get shafted if you have a shifty op leader or what not, our guild does Need/Greed unless we are running ops for BiS, then we do Master Looter and everyone can roll on gear they "need", no alts, offsets or companions, and you are limited to one BiS drop per raid until everyone has a piece minus belt/bracers, if no one needs it then we just random it via the inplace system.

Yet it really isn't, as i've pointed out gear isn't that important as BiS pve gear will make you just as powerful in pvp, it takes time to get BiS pvp gear, recruit gear or even reg war hero isn't going to match up to EWH and i've seen plenty of players that have just pvp'ed enough to get EWH and suck at pvp so it wouldn't make any difference if they had recruit, WH, EWH or just went in with no gear on as they are horrible and have no skill.

Well if you think PT's are OP I could mention taking my Operative healer into 50 pvp with no PvP gear and putting out 700k healing, 3k behind the full EWH sorc healer... (and no I wasn't just spamming my <30% heal, and yes I was being constantly targeted by the other team) I was only saying that gear isn't as important as skill or knowledge in PvP, what I got from your post was that gear conquers all if you are a nub in PvP at lvl 50, if you aren't good at the game or don't understand how the classes work then no amount of gear will help you.
