  1. Well, at Gencon today, Fantasy Flight Games just announced what ships they will be releasing for X-Wing Miniature's Wave 8: Dengar's Punishing One Zuckuss's Mist Hunter From Star Wars Rebels - The Ghost and Phantom boxed set , the Inquisitor's TIE Advanced Prototype and the Gozanti with two TIE Fighters in an alternate paint scheme. They also mentioned in passing that they will be releasing ships for the game from Episode VII but couldn't say anymore than that (NDA me thinks).
  2. Have to agree....controls WAY too sensitive for combat, no tutorial so I can figure out what the **** is going on and no ability to use a joy stick makes this a complete fail to me. No thanks BioWare, you can keep your lame assed attempt at a Star Wars dogfighting module.
  3. I am maxed out rep wise but I still need to collect tokens to buy the Blue Sphere speeder. Once I get that then I'm done with the Gree....unless they bring more items that I find desirable.
  4. How about turning off the game and going out and enjoy the real world?
  5. CoH was my first MMO. Before CoH my attitude towards subscription games was why should I have to pay a monthly fee for a computer game I've already paid money on to buy. Then one day I saw my friends playing in the CoH beta test and was intrigued and asked if I could give it a try. Once I did that I was hooked and, on May 1st 2004, I started on the adventure of being a superhero in Paragon City. I played off and on till the game was prematurely shut down last year. When CoV hit I fell in love immediately with the Mastermind class and spent many, many hours tromping around the Rogue Islands (and later in Paragon City when switching sides became possible) with Unit 342, my Robots/Force Field MM, melting face with the combined firepower of my six robots. When NCSuck decided to shut down the game it pissed me off with the way they went about the shut down, closing Paragon Studios without warning and absolutely no communications to a very loyal player base on the reasoning behind the shut down. I, along with a majority of the player base of CoH, have boycotted any titles with the NCSuck name on them because of this.
  6. Ahhhhh, good times, good times. My favorite trick was with my Thugs/Dark MM.....6 minions + Dark Servant + Gang War = Mayhem. 17 pets beating on one bad guy was a sight to behold.
  7. Did the math: 166 from Tionese, 250 each from Columi and Daily and 315 from Black Hole Total Classic Comms received will be 981, 181 over the cap.
  8. If you've ever seen any of the "Blacksploitation" films of the 70's then yes, this was funny....and brings back memories.
  9. Well, considering Taco Bell and KFC are owned by the same company, all you have to do is find a Taco Bell/KFC combo store (they do exist) and get a Churro.
  10. If I wanted an RPG I'd get together with my friends and play a P&P RPG.
  11. I was a subscriber to City of Heroes/Villians since they started back in May of 2004. NCSoft pulled the plug abruptly and with no explanation to its customers late last year. GW2 is made by NCSoft and players there can expect the exact same thing to happen to GW2 that happened to CoH. When CoH went down I vowed never again to spend 1 cent on any product with NCSoft's name on it and recommend anyone else to do the same.
  12. Work? I thought this was a game? You know, something you do to have fun. But hey, if you want to take short cuts and want an "I win" button, be my guest. It still doesn't change the fact that you want everything in the game (and probably life as well) handed to you on a silver platter. Oh, and I wish I had the time to level my nth alt but I have a life outside of the game that includes a job (something I'll bet you don't have a clue about).
  13. What I see with the OP is yet another lazy spoiled brat that modern culture has created who wants everything handed to them without having to work for it.
  14. I wonder if it has anything to do with the passing of Ian Abercrombie, the actor who did the voice of Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sideous? I do know that they replaced him with Tim Curry (Clue and Rocky Horror), who make his Clone Wars Debut as Palpatine in the season finale.
  15. Another good one was the episode where Captain Rex was wounded by a sniper and his squad mates left him in the care of the wife of a clone who deserted after the First Battle of Geonosis who has raised 2 children and has settled down in the life of a farmer.
  16. Not always....some of the best episodes IMO have been the ones where they focus on the Clones with no Jedi involvement at all.
  17. I watched the fight between Asoka and the mystery jedi several times and the mystery jedi is not Aurra Sing. Aurra Sing has very long fingers (twice as long as a normal human) and when the mystery jedi uses the force to make noise to distract Asoka you can see that he/she has normal length fingers, not the long ones of Sing. I'm leaning towards Barris as the culprit and think she even might be the apprentice of Palpatine himself....either him or Dooku. Another thing that comes to mind is, if it is Barras, then this becomes a foreshadowing of the events in Episode 3 where 2 good friends become enemies due to one of them turning to the dark side of the force. This is just a thought and I could be totally off base. No matter how it turns out, the finale of this season is going to be a good one....too bad I can see it till Sunday night as I'm out of town next weekend for a Warhammer 40k tourney.
  18. My point being is that Asoka would not have had enough time to kill the three Troopers before Fox came around the corner, guns blazing, about 1-2 seconds after Asoka found the bodies. Fox then giving the Shoot to Kill order didn't make sense to me because of the time involved.
  19. Another thing is when they came upon the 3 dead Troopers, Commander Fox was hot on Asoka's heels and would have seen the glow from her Lightsabers and heard their distinctive sound when being used in combat.
  20. A great episode, especially at the end with the escape and resulting chase scene. I especially loved the way the stun bolts would splash as if they were liquid when blocked by Asoka's saber. I don't know if anyone else noticed it but I loved the homage to the movie "The Fugitive" when Anakin catches up to Asoka in the sewers. It reminded me of the scene where US Marshal Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) caught up to Dr. Kimble (Harrison Ford) at the dam....just before Kimble jumps down to the spillway of the dam to escape.
