  1. Devs should just simply put a cap on premades. A group of 4 is all that should be allowed to queue for Warzones, a group of 2 is all that is allowed to group for Arena's. I haven't played GSF in ages but I know that is another big area for premades. I also agree with you on this part. Devs really need to look at the specs, states, and the insane about of stuns. But I think its all just wishful thinking and praying to devs like as if they will do something. This is exactly what I am going to be doing. Once I get this armor thats it. I think I will focus on pve stuff like HM and NiM Nefra. Its just not worth the pain anymore. Pvp is dead on most other servers but Star Forge.
  2. This is exactly why I made this post in the forums. I have noticed a particular guild as well with 4+ members. I do agree though with Arena's its more easier to handle premades and also its a better area to work on teamwork and strategy too as well as getting a decent idea to how pvp works kinda.
  3. Nope, no troll here. Just someone who enjoys pvping for the pvp seasons. Which is when I always see premades sadly. I mean cool it would be fun and all that. Guild vs Guild lol. It would be a cool idea if they did split the group up. That would be rather interesting. Although I'm a solo player and if the premade thing keeps going on well...you know that saying " If you cant beat em you may as well join em" but I doubt anyone would want me in their group haha. I'm an operative Lethality named, I can handle premades but I figured I'd just voice the community concerns. It would be interesting to see what the Dev's say though
  4. Hi, I figured I'd make a forum post about this as it seems to become a major effect in warzones more then Arenas. During a lot of matches I see on my pvp toon, there are at least 8 players [a whole team] of premades. Sometimes it just friends but mostly its a guild group formed together. Although I do agree having one or two friends in warzones can be fun, but going over that limit and tag teaming certain players has started to make warzones dreadful and fewer players since most people dont want to deal with being targeted by a mass group. For those that dont know was Premades is, its a group of friends or guild members of up to 4-8 players that queue for pvp stuff, mostly warzones. They usually converse over discord or other voice message ways and target players and over rule the objective of the game. Personally I would like to ask if the Dev team will ever do anything about this issues as it is becoming more and more frequent and taking away the joy of working with other players to work together to achieve the game objective.
  5. Alright I'm still very new to arena play style and there seems to be a set 'requirement' for it. One of those being high level gear. I mostly have a healer and tank characters. So what would be the set advice for entry level in Arena's. Hopefully this can help other players out too. Last time I entered one I got some really hot heated hate sent to me haha. And that was with 336 level set gear at level 80
  6. Will Bioware bring back this server? I actually enjoyed it since the ping wasn't too bad and I didn't find the load time to take forever. Curious to know if Bioware will have it return in the next update?
  7. Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? The ping is very good for a server such as this. Even more so comparing to the more popular servers, the Ping is very amazing. There have been 0 glitches thus far. Pvp, story, flashpoints are really amazing and there is no lagging noticed at all. What region/country do you reside in? Australia Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. Compared to Star Forge the current ping is: Star Forge: 80 roughly Shae Vizla: 400 No lagging has been noticed between traveling in game, 0 lagging in pvp as well which has made it an incredible experience. Is grouped content working properly? How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? Its pretty much an instant thing that pops up the moment I queue up for flashpoints. Whether Veteran or not. Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? No, which was one of my main concerns when starting on this server. It appears to be an issues on most other servers but Shae Vizla. Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? None have been noticed Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? None at all Over all, Shae Vizla has been an amazing experience which my Boyfriend and I have been enjoying. We have leveled up characters to see the experience first hand as well as the changes too which I can say has indeed truly been amazing. I hope Dev team allows this server to remain for the future to come as it holds a lot of potential with the way swtor has been progressing in regards to the 64-bit. I continue to look forward to what more Swtor has in store for us players.
  8. I dont know why I didn't think of that earlier! Thank you so much. I will give that a shot and see if it lets me use the old account that way. I'll give a little update if it does happen
  9. I'm curious to find out since I've found my old account from swtor when it first started. Is it possible to transfer a character from one account to the other or is it possible to create a new steam account and log into my old account using that? Reason I ask is since I tried to log into my old one on steam it said that I couldn't due to the linked account on steam not matching. I also reinstalled swtor using the cd as well however its too old and won't allow me to log in. So is it possible to either transfer or link my old account to another steam account?
