  1. I couldn't travel to my stronghold from a heroic area on tatooine for the mission "Black Box" on imp side. I could also not travel to my stronghold from the seeker droid treasure area on Tatooine "Wreck of the Stardream – The Dune Sea" and Alderaan "House Trader’s Circle – King’s Pass". Also the heroic area for Gargath on Hoth you can't travel to a stronghold. I had to either QT to an outpost, or walk out of that map section to travel to my stronghold.
  2. I’m so glad the number of weeklies will be reduced from 25! Thank you! I may actually try to go for that cheevo next season. I didn’t even bother this season. Would it be possible to reduce the number of matches for the weeklies? The warzone weekly is doable, still a bit long in my opinion if you lose more than win. I would like to pvp on other toons, but I have to stick to one toon to get the weekly. But the arena weekly is painful if you lose more than win. And it's actually not reasonable to try to complete on a lowbie or midbie toon. There just aren’t enough people queueing for arenas at lower levels, so you can’t finish a weekly before reset.
  3. I do play pvp for fun, not just rewards. But I also enjoy getting weeklies done. I play many aspects of the game so I don’t choose to spend all my time doing PvP. Nearly all the weeklies in the game (other than very difficult operations) are doable in an hour or so. It’s also psychological. No one enjoys losing over and over. Who wants to lose 12 or 24 matches in a row? (This is a likely scenario for brand new PvPers.) Yet, if there is a bit of a reward at the end, you might decide to play one more match. I agree that if I improved my skill so that I could win every match, it would be a blast. But even the best players lose depending on the team. For the average player who just doesn’t have the time to put into mastering their skill, or to play for hours a day, it would be nice to have a shorter weekly that is achievable. Also, it would be nice to have a daily that is more doable. Having to log off after 5 out of 6 arenas is disheartening. You know that the daily mission will reset too.
  4. I’m sure that very skilled players can quickly complete a weekly, potentially winning every match. But most players aren’t able to do that. I suppose requiring more matches could look like it would encourage more players to participate. And indeed, I played more pvp matches than I normally would have that night we went for 3 hours. But it was no longer fun, just an endurance test. And it doesn’t make me want to do more once I look at the amount I would be required to continue to grind before Season 1 is ended. If the weeklies were more like GSF, that would be great. I can easily handle 4 losses for a weekly, and then do it on several toons if I choose. The rewards could be reduced appropriately of course. Since the new PvP season seems to be about the participation grind, the grind needs to be palatable.
  5. Actually, the achievements to complete 25 weeklies of each are for Season 1. The only way to earn 20 tokens is to do these 4 achievements: Arena Advocator: complete "[Weekly] Go Berserk" and/or "[Weekly] Time for Pain" missions 25 times during PvP Season 1. Warzone Warrior: complete "[Weekly] The Spoils of War" and/or "[Weekly] Conspicuous Valor" missions 25 times during PvP Season 1. All-star Medalist: Earn 2000 medals in Arenas and/or Warzones during PvP Season 1. Reach Level 25 on the PvP Season reward track during PvP Season 1.
  6. The new seasons requirements are misery-inducing. Complete 50 weeklies in 12 weeks? The luck of groupfinder has always meant that nights of losing repeatedly will happen. But to drag out a streak of losses over 12 or 24 matches is painful. This week I grouped with 3 guildies and it took 3 hours to complete one warzone weekly and get only ¼ of the way through the arena weekly. 13 matches, 11 losses. By the end we could only say, ‘good job for enduring through this grind.’ Unless something changes, I won't try to work on the PvP seasons achievements. I will not subject myself to grinding 4+ weeklies where I lose 50 matches over 12 hours of my life each week. I would like to be able to complete a weekly in a reasonable amount of time even if it means I get a smaller reward. The new weeklies are massively unattainable for most regular players.
  7. Do you think you'll PvP more or less than you did before the update? About the same, I play several matches a week. Do the rewards on the reward track make you want to PvP specifically to earn them? Yes, but only because I was grinding for some ranked pvp items and now I won't have enough time to get them. Do you think you'll queue for 8v8 Warzones or 4v4 Arenas equally? Yes, I enjoy both types and like the variety. Do you feel the new Warzone medals will encourage objective play? Probably not, some people just like going around killing. Is it clear how to earn PvP points and progress the Season reward track? Yes. What is your overall impression of the changes to the PvP season system? Mixed. What do you like the most about the changes to the PvP season system? Allowing casual pvpers to make progress on a seasons track is nice, especially when you have a losing streak. What do you like the least about the changes to the PvP season system? Getting rid of a ranking seems like a strange choice for a competitive game. I love seeing how I have improved in my numbers in unranked, and I was looking forward to trying out ranked for the first time to see how I would do. And why would you let people buy rewards by using credits to earn season levels? Isn't that why we have a cartel market? What is one change or adjustment you would like to make on the new PvP Season system, what would it be, and why? Combining ranked into unranked needs more work on your end. Isn't there some way of matching up people with similar skills? When I was new in pvp, getting creamed by the extremely skilled players was disheartening. But I kept at it because of guildmates. I don't think having top tier ranked players squashing brand new pvpers is a good way to encourage them to keep queueing. For the past year, our guild has been running matches against each other in the group ranked queue (because in pre-season no one else ever queued). We tried to balance out the skill levels on each team to make it equally likely we could win. It made for the best matches ever because they were close games. It was also easier to improve. Couldn't something like this be implemented in the whole system of pvp matchmaking?
  8. I support this request wholeheartedly. After unlocking all my toys during the unlock sale, I would love an option for a random regenerate health toy!
